100% certain dh is not having an affair so who does the lipstick belong to and how on earth will I get it out of the washing as the lid has come off (presumably in the machine) and I'm guessing it will be all over it now. Luckily it was a dark wash. I've stopped the washing machine and put it on drain.

Shameless placemark,

This thread is the best thing I've ever read.

IAmLucy · 27/12/2017 13:33

What in the actual fuck. More information on tiny washing machine hand please

AmaraSas · 27/12/2017 13:53

If it was a rodent hand, where is the rest of the rodent 😱

Blerg · 27/12/2017 14:09

I was thinking mole hand. Are they rodents 🤔 blatant place mark, this is amazing.

Lweji · 27/12/2017 14:13

No, moles are not rodents. They're... Well... moles.

BertieBotts · 27/12/2017 14:14

Bubble, do you have a cat??

iwouldgoouttonight · 27/12/2017 14:17

Half an A4 sheet of graph paper in an ear?! A tiny hand in a washing machine?! This thread is bloody brilliant.

iwouldgoouttonight · 27/12/2017 14:20

Was it like one of these novelty tiny hands? Or smaller?

There is a lipstick going around in the washing machine that isn't mine.

Body parts in washing machines.
Mushrooms in ears.
Teeth in hands.
Needles in breasts.
Shells in scalps.
Worms in brains.

Best. Thread. Ever.

Opheliasgoldenwine · 27/12/2017 14:26

I'd still say that the mushroom growing in an ear is the most boaksome one Envy- not envy.

curlscatsandkids · 27/12/2017 14:30

Once spotted our cat running around with a piece of string hanging out of its bum. DH held cat while I gently pulled at the string and it came out over 30cm long. Cat was fine but not so keen to raid the local bins for the beef joint scraps again!

torthecatlady · 27/12/2017 14:41

I lost this thread for a second and panicked! Glad to have found you all again!

Buddyelf · 27/12/2017 14:51

Shamelessly place marking - I need to know what the hell the tiny hand was!!

Oywotchadoin · 27/12/2017 15:40

SimonBridges, that is so true. Mine kind of squeak on exit.

jitterbug5 · 27/12/2017 15:41

I haven't stopped thinking about this thread since I found it

totsalot · 27/12/2017 15:58

This is the best thing I've ever read.

I have a piece of wire embedded in my gum after my orthodontist did my train tracks badly when I was a teenager. Can't wait for that bad boy to make an appearance!!

Roundtumble · 27/12/2017 16:12

On a lighter less creepy sea shell and teeth free note I found 40 quid in the washing machine not too long ago & pocketed the lot Grin

catsaresomucheasier2 · 27/12/2017 16:23

Reading some if these horrors stories keep making me get that horrible jiggly feeling that goes right through you from your face to your fanjo 😱

dementedma · 27/12/2017 16:24

This thread is brilliant. Am sad the only thing I can claim is after a hair cut, having a tiny piece of cut hair stuck in my nipple. It hurt.

the post about someone having a long feather gently pulled out of their ear gave me an eargasm....

Blerg · 27/12/2017 17:02

Thank you Lweji

Our washing machine has broken down 5 times since August. So far it has coughed up £1.77, a counter from a game and a hair slide (rented house). Scared will find a small hand next.

Cocolepew · 27/12/2017 17:24

I've had a hair embedded in my foot too. It was under my big toe nail and it was very satisfying pulling it out. Bloody hurt before I realised what it was.
DD2 has a rogue eyelash that grows in the middle of her eyelid, she plucks it out. .
Me and her both have double toenails.

Riskybiscuits · 27/12/2017 17:31

Haven't read this all yet as I need some entertainment this evening.

You know they clip the newborn's cord with those little plastic chip-clip thingies? My friend couldn't figure out how/when/where her son's had fallen off...until she emptied the washing machine...

SimonBridges · 27/12/2017 17:31

The lead singer of Manfred Mann was just on Radio 4 talking about how a piece of glass imbedded in his hand made its way out years after a car crash!!

Standstilling · 27/12/2017 17:44

Back up there a minute... Cocole double toenails?! What does that look like? How?

Cocolepew · 27/12/2017 17:49

Omfg Ive just read the ear mushroom and fanny wasp .
It's a bit boring Standing but a bugger to cut. They look normal but there are two nails on top of each other iyswim?
Glad the op came back with good news.
