I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

Such sad news. She was a lovely woman with a beautiful spirit.

Sincerest sympathy to her husband and little girl.

I'm so sad to read this tonight. She was one of the few posters whose name I looked out for as I loved reading her posts, she had such a brilliant way with words.
Thinking of her friends and family now, especially her DH and DD.

GrannyD57 · 19/08/2017 21:21

Funny lady. Life is dimmer without her. So sad she was so young

SheSaidHeSaid · 19/08/2017 21:24

Oh god. I'm shocked. So sad and will toast a drink to her tonight.

Queenofthestress · 19/08/2017 21:27

Oh my god, my condolences to her DH, DD and family
One of the few posters who helped me get away from my abusive ex DP and I'll never forget about that

HarryDresdensLeatherDuster · 19/08/2017 21:27

I read this yesterday and just couldn't quite accept it. I have never met her and never 'talked' to her on here but I have read many, many of her words. and this floored me. From her posts on here she seemed so vibrant and open and equipped with an outstanding sense of humour.

My thoughts are with her friends and family, especially her baby daughter. One of life's 'little lights' has definitely gone out.

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 19/08/2017 21:31

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear this. I didn't know catthiefkeith IRL but looked forward to her tales of an extraordinary life.

cleanasawhistle · 19/08/2017 21:32

So sorry to hear the sad news...RIP CTK

DontTakeItForGranite · 19/08/2017 21:33

How unspeakably tragic. She had such a way with words and I really enjoyed reading her posts. My thoughts, like everyone else's, are with her loved ones.

unlucky83 · 19/08/2017 21:40

I had a soft spot for her user name (long story but I acquired a (female) cat named Keith...) so noticed her posts. (I remember the cake one!)

Shocked, so sudden and it is so sad ...my thoughts are with her family and friends.
RIP CTK.

Pancakeflipper · 19/08/2017 21:40

So sad. Love to family and friends.
Always thought CTK made life more fun.

peanut2017 · 19/08/2017 21:44

Very sad news!

AllThatGlistensIs · 19/08/2017 21:44

My god. Away busy in RL and clicked on tonight thinking this was a troll thread, then realising as I saw fellow regulars post with increasing horror that it wasn't a wind up.

Absolutely stunned. Spent more years than I care to remember laughing at Cats threads. Deeply, deeply shocked and saddened.

dementedma · 19/08/2017 21:49

MNHQ can we have a tribute thread please, featuring the best of CTK who brought such laughter to so many of us?

sheldonesque · 19/08/2017 21:53

RIP CTK. You were the cat's nuts. Just seeing your name on a thread made me smile.

Meningitis took my aunt. Mum hasn't been the same since.

My sincere condolences to those who love you Sad Flowers

BastardGoDarkly · 19/08/2017 21:53

That's a great idea dementedma please hq?

CakeNinja · 19/08/2017 21:55

She has a justgiving page that has been linked to on facebook in order to search meningitis, has this been shared here already?

CakeNinja · 19/08/2017 21:55

Research meningitis Hmm

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 19/08/2017 21:56

@justinemumsnet Please can we have something to commemorate CTK? Perhaps as some have suggested a round up of the best threads. She really stood out to many including myself as being funny, sharp, warm hearted, insightful and a familiar face to mumsnetters.

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 19/08/2017 21:56

Hi Cake, I've not seen a link for that, can you post it please?

CakeNinja · 19/08/2017 21:57

And I'm still in shock. Can't believe someone so vibrant who lived life to the full is no longer there. She will leave such a void in her circle. Devastated for her family and friends who will no doubt struggle to comprehend all of this.

susurration · 19/08/2017 21:57

What sad news :(

CakeNinja · 19/08/2017 21:58

Don't know if I should?

CakeNinja · 19/08/2017 21:59

I'll send a message to check...

MaccaPaccaismyNemesis · 19/08/2017 21:59

Could you dm it to me please, I'd like to donate
