I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

I don't think we ever managed to attend the same meet ups, but I know she lived very close to me from a couple of posts. RIP. Hopefully Pistey and Knotty and Woolly Hugs can organise something Flowers

Oh god. This is such awful news. Her poor, poor family. She was so funny, you could really get a sense of the amazing person she was through her posts. I'm so, so sorry.

So sad to hear this, I loved reading her threads, loved the one about her boyfriends birthday especially where the friend had taken over the organising of it and we were given a run down of the nights events Smile.

And I'm all for highlighting the symptoms of adult meningitis, I was diagnosed with it when i was 34, not long after id given birth to my ds ,I was sent home by my dr twice with migraine tablets to take. It was thanks to my mum who came around and called an ambulance for me because she didnt believe the dr's that I'm one of the lucky ones.

Oh my god, how terrible. CTK was always one of the posters who stuck in my mind because she was so funny and great. I am genuinely shocked and saddened.

Was she the poster who stayed in a tent for her sister and was left with her dd in the pouring rain, and her dad rescued her ?

Oh no. How tragic for her family.

I'll miss her slightly surreal stories. And the occasional long -winded protestations that no really, she isn't trolling and here's why Grin She was genuinely very funny and a true one off.

Oh gosh that's such sad news and such a shock.

I will always remember her for going to visit a poster who was stuck in hospital (possible pregnant) and bored and sad. She took her loads of magazines & chocolates and they had a good chat. Always such a funny poster.

Oh Keith Flowers for your family. She was a poster who I recognised and loved reading her input on things. I remember reading her posts on a thread and thinking 'yup, that's exactly what I think too'. Very down to earth and a genuinely lovely lady.
