I don't know if this is the right thing to do, and I'm so sorry if not.

catthiefkeith passed away today.

I know there are mumsnetters who know her know how amazing she is, and I just wanted to raise a glass to her memory on here, where she brought a smile to so many faces with her stories of her mad life.

Rest in peace lovely lady.

We could do a swear word in flowers , it would be appreciated by CTK- not so much others though.
I think a campaign to hilight adult meningitis would be a good idea.

So shocking that someone so full of life can die so suddenly.

I really enjoyed her posts. I would start to read and then think 'what's going on here! This is madness.' then glance up at the username to see it was CTK, just doing her thing.

That's really shocked me. I instantly recognised the name. She was hilarious, she was so great at story telling. I know I've spoken to her on some of her threads. What a needless, pointless death.

My first thought was it must be a mistake or a troll.

I met CTK at 2 or maybe 3 London meet-ups, and she was exactly as lovely and warm and funny as you would expect from her posts here.

We shared concern for another poster here and I have a PM from her from less than 2 weeks ago.
How fast this awful thing took hold of her.

I can fairly certainly assure everyone that our lovely Zombie will have been there with and .
They met at a London meet-up at least once.

So sorry for her husband and little daughter, hope they can see here that she was loved by so many from literally across the world.

Totally shocked reading this. She came across as very kind and funny.

That is terribly sad news. One of my favourite posters on Mumsnet.

I didn't know her but my heart just dropped when I read that opening post.
Catthief was a big part of My Mumsnet and thank you OP for letting us know.
Condolences to her real life DH, family and friends.
I wish her impact could be commentated in some way on Mumsnet.

Dreadful, shocking news. I believe she is local to me. Her posts made me laugh a lot. I shall miss her in these parts.

Deepest condolences to CTK's family. A wonderful woman - her stories always stood out and hers is one of the names I would most recognise here. A shocking and sudden loss - I don't think I realise meningitis could hit adults so swiftly.

Bloody hell, how shocking. Many condolences to family and friends on such sad news.

I'm another who didn't know her outside of MN, and indeed even on here really only as a poster whose name I recognised for many humorous posts (like her recent v funny stuck in a tent thread). We lived in the same county and years ago she did offer to set me up with a single male friend of hers - it never happened as I met my bf a few days after.

She will be missed.
