Anyone lost this? On my backstep if it's yours!

So. Just come in through my back gate to find this on my doorstep....anyone missing a pigeon? Not your average bird, well looked after, has got ring etc but bloody thing won't let me get close enough to get details.

It's currently attacking my pots in hope of food. Am assuming due to high winds been blown off course and is knackered. I have chucked some food out on back step (randomly had some milled linseed in...once a Girl Guide, always a Girl Guide ) and shut in Sassycat (cos that wouldn't end well...I'd be hoovering up feathers for weeks!!!)...

So...anyone think they've lost something today? Or have suggestions of what I could do with it?

Pigeon has gone. If back I'll check for rings later.

Nothing from DGazzie's owner...might have to hope she's taken early retirement in a London park somewhere...

Perhaps she has made it home but her owner is feeling so stunned by his new found MN fame that he's too scared to contact you in case he gets requests from a troop of MNers wanting DGazzie's claw print autograph.

Now that is an inspired idea! We could have MN day out at the coop!!!

Morning! Still no news...I have linked thread for owner and asked him to keep me posted and he assured me he would, so I sadly think it's a case that she's still a Pidge MIA I promise to keep you all updated if I do hear anything...keep those fingers crossed!

Thanks Spookle. She was def well rested, fed & watered so would hopefully be fine for a few days. Weather lovely. Don't blame her for wanting a mini-pidge-break & not go straight back to work!

Given her bad sense of direction I have an irresistible urge to go call Gazzie at my wild pigeons here in Oz. Tho they are Topknot wild Doves Not Pigeons
