Anyone lost this? On my backstep if it's yours!

So. Just come in through my back gate to find this on my doorstep....anyone missing a pigeon? Not your average bird, well looked after, has got ring etc but bloody thing won't let me get close enough to get details.

It's currently attacking my pots in hope of food. Am assuming due to high winds been blown off course and is knackered. I have chucked some food out on back step (randomly had some milled linseed in...once a Girl Guide, always a Girl Guide Grin) and shut in Sassycat (cos that wouldn't end well...I'd be hoovering up feathers for weeks!!!)...

So...anyone think they've lost something today? Or have suggestions of what I could do with it? Confused

I know Mog Sad x 100.... But hoping she turns up now she's had some freedom and has decided she's hungry. Friend in RL said she took off like a bullet in the right direction, so at least we know she was fit, healthy and ready to fly!

So sorry to say that still don't have any news to bring you all Sad Haven't heard back from her owner so am assuming he hasn't seen her. I really wanted this lovely thread to have the happiest of endings. So sorry all....will keep updating and let you know if I hear anything at all...

Maybe she has decided against a captive way of life and has shacked up under a railway bridge in a pigeon commune somewhere.

Just read the whole thread in one sitting and am now overly invested and desperate for news.

Also I live near her destination so will keep eyes peeled for a bewildered pigeon answering to Gazzie.

Gazzies owner is missing another bird as he did a race again on Sat from Newark so it could be that one...or another from that race...does it look like any of DGazzie's pics????

Still no official news....Sad

It's been quite windy in Lincs (not far from Newark) so maybe Gazzie's owner's second pidge has been blown off course a bit?

In fact, maybe Gazzie has been blown off course too?

It's a week ago today that she landed on my back step. Who knew that bedraggled and exhausted creature would now mean so much to so many! Still hoping for a pidge-miracle...🙏
