Can it really be five years since the tea-drinking party, led by NormanTheForeman swept to victory in the last general election? Oh yes it can! And today the plastic people are off to the polling stations again.

This year's parties standing for election are as follows:-

Tea-drinking party (leader NormanTheForeman)

Lifesaving party (leader KylieTheLifeguard)

Law and Order party (leader MichaelTheBeachPoliceman)

Military party (leader Sir Ospringe Bapchild)

Legalise Robbery party (leader Jack Jellyhead)

PlaymoLand Independence party (PLIP) (leader Nigel Garage)

Here's a photo of all the party leaders.

I'll be back shortly to tell you a little about each party's main policies.

Polls are open now and will close at 10 pm.

Cast your vote here! Grin

See, I don't think Nigel's been quite right since he fell out the Playmo Plane doing a flyover of Playmoland

JugglingLife · 07/05/2015 07:59

It's gotta be norm and the beverage of choice that nails it for me. Brew

Izzy24 · 07/05/2015 08:01

I'm attracted to the Law and Order Party as without Rules, nothing else works .

But could I check whether the manifesto states shiny plastic shoes on or off in the House?

This is a key point for me and for many other Playmos as we know.

SoMuchToBits · 07/05/2015 08:02

By the way, if any of you are wondering what happened to the Christmas All Year Round party which stood in the last Playmo election, Father Christmas decided to disband it after realising that he would have to work every single day of the year.

Hmmmm, there are a few interesting coalition possibilities in there.

SoMuchToBits · 07/05/2015 08:05

Ah shoes. That could be a problem for many Playmo people, as their shoes aren't removable. Some Playmo people have bare feet though, and although some of those have some little slip-on plastic sandals, there aren't enough of them to go round, should the entire Playmo population decide to be indoors at the same time. Bit of a dilemma there...

I didn't dare ask about the Xmas worry was concerned Santa had met a sticky end accidentially packed with the Xmas Decs or something

CJCregg · 07/05/2015 08:06

I'm also more of a coffee drinker. And am tempted by the idea of no Polly Pocket. Does Nige's policy cover Sylvanians too?

I do like Lego though.

Will give it some thought as I drink my coffee :D

Eastpoint · 07/05/2015 08:07

I'm voting for Kylie

SoMuchToBits · 07/05/2015 08:09

Nige's policy does also cover Sylvanians, CJ. Playmoland for Playmolanders is his slogan!

I vote: Tea-drinking party (leader NormanTheForeman) Grin

quietasamouse · 07/05/2015 08:11

NTF for me too.

SquareStarfish · 07/05/2015 08:12

Kylie! Kylie! Kylie! Grin

That's my voting duties for the day taken care of.

LIZS · 07/05/2015 08:13

lol I was hoping this might reappear. Norman all the way here!

whohasnickedmyvodka · 07/05/2015 08:15

A vote for norm here I would love a cooked breakfast

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 07/05/2015 08:17

Hmmm... I don't drink tea but he did say that they weren't fussy on beverage. Does NTF's manifesto clearly spell out how they intend to pay for all the biscuits and fry ups? These things have to be considered.

Izzy24 · 07/05/2015 08:17

If Michael would commit to a post election referendum re on/off I believe that may sway the undecided?

velocityofbeans · 07/05/2015 08:19

Having read all the manifesto's and given it 30 seconds lots of thought, I vote Tea Party, Norman sounds like my kind of leader Grin

AnnoyedByAlfieBear · 07/05/2015 08:24

Does Michael and the Law and Order Party discriminate against tea?

SoMuchToBits · 07/05/2015 08:26

No, Michael doesn't discriminate against tea, he's quite partial to a Brew himself. Smile

TheoreticalOrder · 07/05/2015 08:27

I'm shocked at the anti Sylvanian rhetoric Shock

[sits on plastic fence]

FeelingSmurfy · 07/05/2015 08:27

I vote Kylie, without her the rest of the candidates may not last their full term in office anyway

I do worry about the tea party, will there be additional toilets built to cope with the aftermath of all of that tea drinking??

SoMuchToBits · 07/05/2015 08:31

There's Norm's portaloo Wink...

OP posts:
mindexplode · 07/05/2015 08:32

Kylie and life saver party here, shes my kind of woman

QueenOfThorns · 07/05/2015 08:35

So, I kind of agree with Nige on the Lego issue, but he lost me on 'excessive wardrobes'. He's clearly a fantasist as there's no such thing.

Torn between Kylie & Norm, so will have to ponder. Is there any possibility of a coalition between the two, do you think?
