Real post I've seen this week.

"Got some cheap stuff for sale if you want anything"

Cue 20 posts along the lines of;

"Have you got a patio heater hun?"

"No sorry"

Have you got a wheelbarrow?

No, haven't got a wheelbarrow.
Xx

3 days later the thread is still going strong. 20 people have been disappointed that the seller doesn't have what they want and the seller has made no effort to make any suggestion what she does have.

Rainicorn - Awesome! Please please respond, maybe with "how lowed is the raw?"

WhoeverYouWantMeToBe · 30/10/2014 12:25

Sorry if this was mentioned upthread already, but I despise people selling individual well worn and tatty baby clothes for say 20p each! Just take the a charity shop you tightwad Confused

Choccyhobnob · 30/10/2014 12:30

My local group has recently been deleted and a new one started with new admins as the last one was rife with all of the above, I can't see anything amusing on this new page yet (give it time....)

One that got me on the old page was "does anyone do tattoos that can come to my hse?" Just why?! I just wish there was a follow up post showing the art they received....

IsabellaofFrance · 30/10/2014 12:35

Someone on ours wants a tabby kitten - someone else has offered a ginger one Grin

Choccyhobnob · 30/10/2014 12:39

Oh I forgot, they also specified that this mobile tattooist be cheap....makes me shudder!

VivaLeBeaver · 30/10/2014 12:42

Ranicorn. That has properly made me laugh. What on earth is a sous figure?

I think I've got it - "a walking, roaring dinosaur figure".

Mind you "rawing diner sous figure" could really be anything. If the picture was't there I'd be lost too Confused

makemineabacardi · 30/10/2014 14:26

Just checked my local one and I shit you not there is someone trying to sell a bundle pack of freebie beauty sample sachets (the ones you get in magazines) plus some mini-size cosmetic beauty freebies (also the ones you get off the front of magazines) for 15. Shock

ClawHandsIfYouBelieveInFreaks · 30/10/2014 14:31

make I think some people buy them to put in goody bags. I wouldn't but horses for courses.

UterusUterusGhali · 30/10/2014 15:21

Someone selling a vulva dress on my local page today.

I'm sure it's a lovely dress, but as I scrolled down quickly I did have to double-take.

Ok Greater you win, I think trying to sell Sainsburys carrier bags - not even reusable ones but just normal plastic ones - is the most WTF thing I've come across.

This Grin anyone up for some crazy paving?

Stupid Facebook selling.
VivaLeBeaver · 30/10/2014 16:11

I've seen someone offering decorative concrete wall blocks for sale. Bit like these. Only downside was that they were actually still someone's wall and you had to dismantle their wall for them.

So the cheeky sellers were actually trying to get paid for having their wall dismantled. You'd never have got the blocks out without breaking them.
