Real post I've seen this week.

"Got some cheap stuff for sale if you want anything"

Cue 20 posts along the lines of;

"Have you got a patio heater hun?"

"No sorry"

Have you got a wheelbarrow?

No, haven't got a wheelbarrow.
Xx

3 days later the thread is still going strong. 20 people have been disappointed that the seller doesn't have what they want and the seller has made no effort to make any suggestion what she does have.

I don't get the point of them Confused. Surely you only have to turn around fast and you have wine all over your face?

DizzyKipper · 01/11/2014 12:30

My DD had something like that when she was younger, it was called a door bouncer and great for springing up and down.

KinkyandGhoulishDorito · 01/11/2014 12:37

The fact the woman in the picture is still holding on to her glass makes it redundant. It is also seriously lacking in glitter.

Trills · 01/11/2014 12:48

I've just looked up my local one (it's a closed group) and the "rules" include
first to comment gets first refusal

No thanks. I want to be able to choose based on politeness.

randycheeseburger · 01/11/2014 12:54

i need to find some glitter glasses, I feel left out

randycheeseburger · 01/11/2014 12:57

festive loo seat cover anyone? I'm struggling to understand why anyone would want one? I mean really?

Stupid Facebook selling.
fairgame · 01/11/2014 13:18

My ex's very elderly grandparents have a xmas loo seat cover Grin

randycheeseburger · 01/11/2014 13:20

HAHA she had a few and sold them all so maybe its just me

fairgame · 01/11/2014 13:36

I think Santa would end up with a yellow beard by the time DS has finished spraying everywhere

Fitzers · 01/11/2014 13:40

Some beautiful bed sheets anyone?

Stupid Facebook selling.
AlpacaPicnic · 01/11/2014 13:42

I've joined one of many local groups to me, purely for the fun! Badly spelled posts, hunning left, right and centre, kisses on all the posts (although they could be close friends of relatives, it's a small city here)
But one of the most prolific posters appears to own a local shop for local people in the ghetto and is advertising all the reduced groceries in his shop! Packets of Berocca tablets, just £2! Box of pint glasses, £10 ideal for parties! Boxes of crisps, just £1.50!

AlpacaPicnic · 01/11/2014 13:43

Exclamation marks are all his btw...

TheJiminyConjecture · 01/11/2014 13:49

Anyone with Directioners still to buy for?

Stupid Facebook selling.
FyreFly · 01/11/2014 14:00

Half-used hair chalk set. £4.

And the constant use of "chick" or "hun" sets my teeth on edge something horrid Sad

KinkyDorito · 01/11/2014 14:14

TheJiminy I really, really wish I had a 1D fan in my house after seeing that. I'm tempted to get DH one because I know he would treasure it.

TheJiminyConjecture · 01/11/2014 14:17

You could commission a portrait of DH. That would be a gift that keeps on giving!

KinkyDorito · 01/11/2014 14:25

That is a superb idea! Merely £10 for something both unique and astonishing.. Grin.

BOFster · 01/11/2014 15:00

DizzyKipper · 01/11/2014 15:33

My local one has started discussing Halloween, complete with "begging" comment.

HairyMagratsScare · 01/11/2014 15:35

Loving the portrait artist!

How about some unusual heels for someone special?

Stupid Facebook selling.
HairyMagratsScare · 01/11/2014 15:37

Or a beautiful platypus for that someone special....

Stupid Facebook selling.
BillThePony · 01/11/2014 16:47

What is this supposed to actually be anyway?

Stupid Facebook selling.
NorbertDentressangle · 01/11/2014 16:59

ROFL at the seed bead platypus Grin

BertieBotts · 01/11/2014 17:03

Bahaha I love when you zoom into that baby word canvas (I presume that's what it is - name, birth date, time, plans on how to cook and eat her) it says "Who would want one?" Quite Grin
