Chris I haven't had PND so not sure if this is a trite and fairly obvious suggestion but are there any baby groups in your area? We moved to a little rural village just before getting pregnant so couldn't really meet people in the usual way (getting trashed with them basically...) and now we have DS who is still 6 months we cant really invite people over (unless they wish to listen to him wail...). Going to baby groups during the day and basically forcing people I liked the look of to swap mobile numbers (once you've done it a couple of times it gets easier to do this!) was a real life line as I think I was possibly teetering on the edge of PND in the early days. Getting out and seeing people and eating loads of cake who were in the same boat was great.

I hope this victory over emptying the shed has strengthened your resolve to keep on at them til they sling their hook (hoof?) for good!

Outclassed in the age gap stakes (not even double figures!) but just wanted to say that I think you're amazing FYC. I'd be your RL pal in a heartbeat - and I'm kind of jealous of the people you're going to meet in this new place, because they'll get to sit in your kitchen and drink tea with you and you'll laugh like loons, and even swish about your wildflower meadow in Laura Ashley-type dresses.
