Morning girls xx

triplets · 21/09/2009 08:24

Wonderful news on a grey Monday morning, welcome welcome to the world our special little zipettes, well done Zippy!
Morning all...........I will wash the floor in a min, do the bedrooms, ironing, clean the cat sick off of the deck, help H in Becs room get a coat of paint on, etc etc etc! Another day in paradise

ChopsTheDuck · 21/09/2009 09:32

Morning everyone!

Omg, how much have I missed?! I can't believe baby Lewis is talking?!
My dt2 still plays with a doll occasionally. He likes taking it for rides on his bike and pushing a pram around. dp does not like it one bit!

Congratulations to zippy!! Lovely names. Agree about the colostrum, you are doing great!

Hello to everyone else I've missed you all loads. Thank you for all the congrats.

I still get asked occassionally if the dts are mine. I think the queries do get less as they get older though, no idea why. I suppose maybe it was more likely I'd have abducted two babies rather than two boisterous 4 yos!

I'm hgaving another day of supposed to be revising. But dp has taken my car keys to work with him so I'm going to spend most of the day walking up and down the school.

shabbapinkfrog · 21/09/2009 09:46

Hiya Chops - Yep Lewmeister is gabbing!! When you think though - he has 4 adults and a 12 year old uncle at his beck and call every single day!!! He watches every one of us and repeats what we say like a parrott!!! He is 15 months old now

My nesting insticts have just kicked in 8 mths too late I can't stop sorting and am being ruthless, not pregnant and its not spring!

HarrogateMum · 21/09/2009 13:34

Congratulations Zippy - great news!

And Trips....dont worry, I only get chance to pop my head in briefly these days and I'm never missed either (sob)!

curiositykilled · 21/09/2009 13:44

Hello,

Big congratulations to Zippy! I agree with momma, expressing during colostrum stage can scare you because you think that amount can't possibly be enough. But it is, a baby's tummy is only the size of a small marble when they are newborn and the more often you feed/express the more milk will be made.

Hope everything goes well Zippy! I am highly jealous.

Well, I think I have officially started nesting. We have builders coming tomorrow (fingers crossed) to knock a double doorway between our front room and play room so we can make the spaces more dual use. We have 3 rooms and a kitchen downstairs shabs - does that make us posh? It does mean that we can retreat into the third room whilst builders make a big mess.

On Saturday night I stayed up until 4am doing washing, cleaning, getting out the breast pump and bottles and steriliser which no formula will touch

My house is now almost the cleanest it has been for a while just in time to be covered in dust! Lol...

I have been feeling rather peculiar, wondering if it is a sign of relatively imminent birth. I feel rather emotional, excited and frustrated and I've been having dreams about breastfeeding and waking up desperately longing to feed a baby...

DH is running a book on the birth he says 36 3 days, my friend Tania says 38 1 day, MIL thinks this week, I think 38/39 weeks anyone else want to guess?

Just nipping in.

Kelly, haven't seen you in ages! And, at last, the wedding!!
Hi Ruby, what will you do about Roma?
HM I thought it was you
Trips
Shabs, Lewis sounds gorgeous!
Zippy!!!!

Had a busy weekend.
Kids off today.
DP and me still not seeing eye to eye.
And
DD1 goes away to camp tomorrow and I'm just feeling sick about it. I worry irrationally about her. I never quite got over her being so ill, I still well up when I talk about it and the thought of her going away makes me feel physically sick. Of course, I have Shabs' Eleanor Rigby face on so no-one knows but me.......
Roll on Friday, I'm not a praying sort so......someone keep her safe please.

And the cherry on top is that I am covered in eczema. My face, neck and scalp is the worst bit. Looking good.

frumpygrumpy · 21/09/2009 17:23

39+2 curiosity

shabbapinkfrog · 21/09/2009 17:53

36 + 4

curiositykilled · 21/09/2009 18:47

fg - eczema down to stress? BOO I'm SURE camp will be fine. Well done for letting her go and not letting the worry take over, must've seemed easier to chicken out, very brave! How's the positivity elixir gin doing? Any effect?

I think I'll put my 50p on Hallowe'en just for fun - 39 + 4.

there was an 8wk old boy in the doctors this morning, so adorable, his mum and I got chatting and she gave me her address and told me to pop over for coffee one day. Things like that never happened to me in London and I've had it twice in a week here.

And we got invited to spend a weekend at a commune next year, so dh can learn the art of bee keeping while dcs and I get a cheap hardworking holiday.

shabbapinkfrog · 21/09/2009 22:40

Evening girls - Tom is finally asleep!!!

curiositykilled · 21/09/2009 22:42

Commune holiday sounds good pixi...

God I really want the next few weeks over with, I'm feeling quite down.
