Trips are you around? Been up to Chellesters but still only had a quarter of what I would normally drink....maybe I am a recovering alcoholic??

Its horrible coming home when you have had such a good time isn`t it?

shabster · 13/07/2008 23:32

Have had a weird time Trips. Have felt disgruntled with 'my lot' - H has driven me daft - I have felt like a single parent doing every last single thing even 2,500 miles away. Felt like running, screaming, swearing and shouting.

Mid life crisis?

Put some new photos on my profile trips.

Saw lew today - he is 8lbs 12ounces now!! He has the greatest temper of any child I have ever seen - to match his red hair. Once we have the housing sorted out I will get Dan to sort out some photos. He has the biggest blue eyes and has started to smile. He goes more like Gareth every single day.

Its because you are living a totaly diff life for two weeks, you must feel free and happy, then its back to reality, and reality is hard to deal with. You should go live your life out there, I am sure you could make it work, I really believe that.

shabster · 13/07/2008 23:36

Sorry I already told you about the new pics

Each year we go it gets harder to come home. I think that it is because the Greek people are straightforward and honest and very loving. They appreciate us and the feeling is mutual. I do understand though that it is just a 'holiday.' I would like to go in the winter to see if I still felt the same. Ce sera sera?

Yes, thats probably a good idea Shabs, but you do seem to "belong" which is nice, and a far cry from Bolton, and I could come and visit!!

shabster · 13/07/2008 23:47

They are lovely people - they are amazed by your triplets - come to think of it I have never even seen twins there. Im going to have to go love and get to bed....interview with housing in the morning and high school in the afternoon

Really knackered - last time I slept properly was Thursday night. See you in the morning darling. Will let you know what goes on in the morning. Kale Nits Sagapoxxxx

Neenz - just been trying to catch up and noticed your 'hernia' problem

Danny had a hernia repaired and one of his 'testimonials' (as Tom calls testicles) sorted out when he was 5 weeks old. He was home later that day. Obviously (from having Lewis) it caused no lasting problems. He was a bit worried a couple of years ago cause he could feel a small lump in his testimonial (love that word) when he went to the doctor he said there was a small amount of scar tissue and linked it to the operation. Except for Tom all my sons have had willy problems.

Danny will strangle me if he ever reads this. and I just typed groin instead of grin!!

Just re-read and noticed DD not DS!!! Just ignore me love....sure its basically the same thing. Everything will be fine.

Morning girls, and welcome back shabs!

Thanks for the roundup HM.

dt2 is recovering from man flu, and back in his own bed, but still not eating much. Decided he will go to school today tho, it's the last week before the hols.

Since we're not going away til right at the end of the hols I have 4 weeks to keep them entertained. It seems to have crept up on me so quickly.

Merley, they def look like boys to me. Lovely photos.

Neenz, sorry to ehar about the op, hopefully she will be in and out quickly.

Fantastic news!

I'm taking my youngest 3 to see TK and girls this afternoon. Mine are so excited!

tkband3 · 14/07/2008 13:01

Oh Shabs, so pleased for you that it's worked out . PMSL at your boys' 'willy problems' .

Mars, mass excitement here too...see you later.

Have just found out that DD1's op will be next Tuesday . Hopefully DH will be able to take the day off to come with us and my mum is coming to look after DTs for the day. I would not cope well on my own with the GA.

shabster · 14/07/2008 13:59

We have to sign for the house and get keys on friday - and be moved in by Monday evening!!!!!! Need flooring in every room and every room needs decorating except for the kitchen and bathroom -

OP posts:
ChopsTheDuck · 14/07/2008 15:57

oh but at least you will be able to make your own mark on it. If it is a council property shouldn't you be able to apply for costs of materials for decorating?

shabster · 14/07/2008 16:31

Its housing association and yes the lady is sorting us out a decorating grant - thank god!! I am excited about it and really relieved - just a massive change....but it is going to be beautiful.

We just came back from a half hour interview at Toms high school - think all that lot is quite enough for one day thank you!!!
