Thought it might be a good idea to have a separate thread for a meet up if we are serious about doing it (I know I am, what a laugh it would be!!).

Put your name down here and when we get a few names I will give out my email address so we can sort it properly rather than online.

I think the following are interested - take your name off and copy and paste if not, add if interested!!

So far thinking maybe a house in the Cotswolds or somewhere Midlands-ish to cater for all!

HM
FG
Dingdong
Triplets
Momma
Tkb
Estar
Chops?????

fg it would do you good

norris if it really does come down to just 3 of us I'm happy to split any bills 3 ways if that helps

HarrogateMum · 12/02/2008 08:56

agreed, FG you MUST come.

But obvioulsy if you cant and no-one else is then agreed dingdong that happy to split costs three ways if its just us and norris (norris, get up out of that corner and stop snivelling - we love you!!)

Cooooeeee Norris, where are youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu? Tkb will share with you! She just mentioned it over on the other thread and said if I saw you to mention it! So come out come out wherever you are!

And re the room - I booked the bog standard £70 twin with no breakfast, I figured we could go out and find breakfast somewhere probably cheaper.

Awww! Somebody loves me!

I don't have any money til Thursday but I will book it then-unless I can liberate dh's card from his wallet .

tkband3 · 12/02/2008 14:00

Norris, I'm quite happy to book it, but will wait till after half-term if that's ok (don't know if I've mentioned it, but I'm getting married in 10 days' time ). We can settle up at the meet up.

HM, good idea re breakfast - then we don't have to get up too early either .

theslownorris · 12/02/2008 14:09

Ok!
I hadn't realised the wedding was so soon .
Are you on FB? HM,Tripley and some of the others know who I am .

ooh, we've snared another one!

the plan is ...

Its May 17th (Saturday)

The City Inn, Brindleyplace, Birmingham.

Twin rooms - £70 per room.

Pairs to book rooms and sort between themselves payment.

If an issue with odd numbers at the end - will have a room to myself to make it easier.

Put your name down! Some have booked, some have organised pairs, some have doen neither, so you're sure to find a partner if you want one.

HarrogateMum · 15/02/2008 09:06

morning Chops!

So so far we have

HM / Dingdong
Chopster / Estar
Norris / Tkb

And three months for everyone else to sort themselves out (nothing like a bit of forward planning!)

OP posts:
estar · 15/02/2008 17:34

Do we pay for the room in advance then and not at checkout? If so, do you want me to do it Chops or will you?

HarrogateMum · 15/02/2008 17:45

if you book it online, you pay for it then, dont know if there is any other way of doing it? Or maybe they just take your credit card details and hold them as security to make sure you turn up!
