Thought it might be a good idea to have a separate thread for a meet up if we are serious about doing it (I know I am, what a laugh it would be!!).

Put your name down here and when we get a few names I will give out my email address so we can sort it properly rather than online.

I think the following are interested - take your name off and copy and paste if not, add if interested!!

So far thinking maybe a house in the Cotswolds or somewhere Midlands-ish to cater for all!

HM
FG
Dingdong
Triplets
Momma
Tkb
Estar
Chops?????

HM!

I love organisers (as long as they're open to suggestions ) and you're doing a grrreat job.

Bear in mind that checkin at the hotel is 3pm - I'm still happy to arrive at midday-ish and shop around, etc. I'm coming on the train and it looks about a mile's walk from the station to the hotel, I'd guess, but it's in the town center anyway, so that'll work for me.

Sorry ladies, I'm not bringing Levi! I know you'd all love to get your hands on him , but he'll be over six months by then and therefore leave-able (planning on bfeeding till then), so I'm going for a real proper child-free time.

Was anyone else bringing babies? If so, we should organise a group that goes back from the meal earlier and has hotel room fun ( don't raise your eyebrows at me, that's not what I meant) while the others booze the night away.

Chopster · 28/01/2008 07:55

Blimey 3pm is late.

Where are the rest of them hiding?! Come out, come out wherever you are!

Chopster · 28/01/2008 07:55

and somebody has to bring a baby, I've not had cuddles with a newborn for ages!

largeginandtonic · 28/01/2008 08:25

WAhooo im coming!!! No children either

triplets · 28/01/2008 09:24

Hi guys,
I cannot commit myself at this stage as DH has a rather worrying hospital appt today, fingers x it will all be well, but atm dont know, he has had a bowel problem since Sept, has gone to see the specialist today. Also for me from Kent its abit expensive for 1 night, I wouldnt get there until mid afternoon and would be leaving early morning, now 2 nights.........

Chopster · 28/01/2008 10:05

fingers crossed for your dh, triplets. xx

HarrogateMum · 28/01/2008 12:55

Chopster · 28/01/2008 13:11

HarrogateMum · 28/01/2008 13:24

I dont know Chops - I am only adding peoples names if they have said they are deffo coming (I thinkkkkk Mars said yes didnt she??!!)

I will wait a bit longer and then book mine and Dingdong's room - hopefully if you and Estar do the same, eveyrone will know we are for real and may follow suit!!

OP posts:
estar · 28/01/2008 14:36

I'm wondering - are we going to be disappointed when we meet up to see that we don't all look like this when we smile?

That's certainly how I imagine Mars being ('cept with brown skin)

estar · 28/01/2008 14:39

And LG&T, you'll be preggers with quads by then (too much praying), so you won't strictly be child-free.

Meeely2 · 28/01/2008 14:39

waves arms in the air - me me emememememe

I need a partner though and i will drive there.

I do however need to book the husband, cos he plays rugby on a saturday, so he needs to know in advance that he needs to be home.

I am a definite maybe - but beware, i can drink my body weight in rose wine, and likely to kiss everyone and everything, declare my undying love to my roomy and smell like shite in the morning! Any takers?

Chopster · 28/01/2008 14:48

mars does look jsut like that!

I don't, def not. I don't even look like my profile pic in facebook most of the time!

largeginandtonic · 28/01/2008 15:54

Good grief you will all see me! Ooogs has already been subjected to that, poor girl.

I am a deffo
