Thought it might be a good idea to have a separate thread for a meet up if we are serious about doing it (I know I am, what a laugh it would be!!).

Put your name down here and when we get a few names I will give out my email address so we can sort it properly rather than online.

I think the following are interested - take your name off and copy and paste if not, add if interested!!

So far thinking maybe a house in the Cotswolds or somewhere Midlands-ish to cater for all!

Could I be added to the list please? I have told dh Dh has agreed . I'll probably come by train as in theory it doen't take much longer than driving and it should be cheaper by the time I've paid for fuel & parking.

Hi all,
Just a quickie, hi Hazygirl, meant to contact you, sorry. DH was a worrying 4 hours at the hospital, but consultant said he is POSITIVE their is no cancer going on. He said it looks like diverticular disease, took more blood and wants him to go back in two months time to do a camera job, lets hope he is right. We had the most awful row last night as my friend who knows what is going on, promised me she wouldn`t say anything to him as he is such a private person, banged on the door last night and asked him outright how he got on! Then we had trouble over Rebeccas friend, long story, he took it out on me and I ended up hurling my pile of ironing at him . Two kids gone off to school not speaking to me either, another long story

its awful when they go off sulking i told olivia off yesterday for been a madame when opening her presents and when she was leaving she ran back hugged and kissed me and said granma i love you i could have cried. im so glad your dp is ok im not sleeping well this week so looking through this and was worried about you, x

Only just seen this and bugger bugger bugger it is in on my sister's bday. Can't very well tell her I wont see her on her bday as I am off to meet a bunch of deranged "strangers".

I would prob have to bring DTs anyway, as can't see DH coping with DS AND DT's on his own .

Hooray!! DP said yes . Happy to share with anyone! I might be driving, but won't know till nearer the time. But if I am, can give Mars and 2/3 others a lift. (I'm in North London.)

Right,I am happy to book a room and then sort out payment with the unlucky person who draws the short straw gets to share with me! Just a couple of questions,should I book the room for 2 people and are you all just going for the basic room-there were options for breakfast etc?

norris, dont worry! I think it is just because its a while away, maybe people arent thinking about it just yet - its just that I am a manic organiser, and if I could would have everyone in a crocodile filing into the reception of the hotel in pairs........

Someone will be along soon to put you out of your misery, I am SURE!

I can't do the date. In theory I could...... but I gave my mum theatre tickets for that night and I'm her date. I'd hate to let her down. I know that sounds flimsy but its important. Let me swirl it around my one remaining brain cell.
