Morning all............just having 5 mins before I move on to the next task. Have just gutted both their rooms and am now working on the premise that the little they have the less to clear up, so a trip to the charity shop before they come home! Also must finish painting my shed, its cloudy here today but going to be dry until Frid! It must be getting warmer as I have ditched my slipper for flip flops:)

Morning ladies. Lovely day here too. Twins asleep so taking advantage and getting housework done before the guys come over this evening.

MultipleMama · 22/04/2013 18:24

Evening ladies, once again I have have ds and dd back, I begged father to keep them but apparently dd threw a tantrum last night and willingly handed them over. Dammit lol

She's been very quiet since being home, she's has just been bathed by DH and currently falling asleep on his lap with her new bedtime sippy cup and a story.

Has everyone had a good day?

triplets · 22/04/2013 18:43

Angry very Angry with dd. Remember last week when she skipped off to Dover after school, friend paid her train fare? Well her Dad gave her £2 extra pocket money on Sat to pay her friend back. Well guess what? The friend is here and I asked her if dd gave her the money, no because they skipped their train fare and my brother is the station manager of the station they went to. I am so furious as she then spent the money on herself! Dh just says, "she is no different to half the kids, they all do it" Well she is grounded from stations until further notice!

MultipleMama · 22/04/2013 19:06

Sorry to hear she's lying trips it must be frustrating for you. I'm dreading the teenage years, I remember mine (I got pregnant!).

dd has gone to bed with no problems, ds has just gone up, and the dts are down as well. Time to go through dh's folder of "twin planning".

MultipleMama · 22/04/2013 19:15

Also, totally random.

Someone stole our babyzen YOLO, today from DG's garden. At first I didn't realise he didn't bring it back, but I called him up later to ask and he said someone stole it. Who steals a pushchair?! So now, we have to buy a new one. Luckily a friend has one she wants to sell.

bubby64 · 22/04/2013 19:31

Trips- it the lying that really gets to me at times, J is a prolific lier, I take almost everything he says with a cellar full of saltSad
I grounded J yesterday and made him vlean his room. He took 3, yes 3 black bags of broken toys, games and rubbish out of it! What got me is the amount of crisp bags and choccy biscuit wrappers, no wonder I am always running out for lunch boxes, and he denies pinching them out of the cuoboard!
J also said to me this morning "mum, you would be in a better mood with me if you didn't drink so much" - I have drunk a bottle of wine over the course of 2 days, and nothing for a week before that!!Hmm Hmm and also, he drives me to hit that bottleAngry
Deep breath.......anyway, I managed to get out and had my hair cut and coloured today, so no more grey, and have arranged with the vet for little Bertie to have his bits removed tomorrow, poor little boy doesn't know whats coming or, to be more honest, goingGrin

bubby64 · 22/04/2013 19:39

mama- I had someone stole my baby car seats and baby bag from my car when the boys were little - I was stuck in the middle of nowhere at a lakeside, with 2 babies and 2 dogs. I couldn't drive anywhere, so dh had to leave work, buy 2 car seats and come to meet meWink Hmm . The worst thing was it had all the boys meds and specialist inhalers in the bag, which all had to replaced by the hospital.

MultipleMama · 22/04/2013 21:12

Well, I hope those who stole the bag feel bad for stealing a baby's medication. They should have returned it. Urgh, I hate people who steal from babies! Well, people in general.

I am feeling really low, dd still had her friend here at 7pm, we were waiting to eat, dd then shouts downstairs what time is dinner coz A is being picked up at 7!! I was not expecting her to stay as the txt message from dd at 3pm said could A come round for abit as her mum had taken her sister swimming. Next thing As dad picks her up and dd flounces off upstairs to her room. So I called her down for her dinner, she comes down and says she isnt hungry as she and A had a Subway in town.............they went out at 4pm and told me they were going to the local park! So I told her quite calmly that I was fed up and disappointed in her, and that I was confiscating her phone and that she was not to have A home anymore this week. She just said "fine" and went off upstairs. We had our dinner and it was clear that dk was annoyed with me, so after the boys left the table I asked him. He said he was fed up with it all, and said I had upset dd. So I came up here, my own space, and wonder what I am doing wrong? Am I just supposed to let her do as she likes? She gets far more freedom and extra treats than both the boys, I do everything for her, where am I going wrong? I dont want to be her enemy, but she doesnt seem to want to spend anytime with me, her Dad , her brothers, its all her friends. Thats not my problem, its the continual lying, which she isnt very good at. I really dont know what to do.

shabbatheGreek · 22/04/2013 22:30

Oh Trips I wish I could offer some 'amazing' advice.....I have no experience with teenage girls at all - except for myself Hmm I was a cocky, confident, know all.

I dont know what to say that will help at all.

Feel peed off with the world myself tonight for a million reasons - sure we were twins separated at birth!! xxxxxx

triplets · 22/04/2013 22:53

Hiya Shabs............how I wish you were just round the corner. Felt like escaping tonight, needed some adult company, really finding it so stressful atm. Also feeling bloody old, James took a pic of me tonight on his camera, felt shocked, fat face, wrinkled neck, ohhhhhhh the joys of being past your prime!!!! Got to lose weight, but stress makes me comfort eat..........and so it goes on.
How is our Harry today though Shabs? Almost finished reading that book, it has really helped me to understand poor Hella, quite fascinating reading.

shabbatheGreek · 22/04/2013 22:56

He is fading away Trips - he looks thinner than ever. He is going to the hospice tomorrow for the day...says he is going to tell them he's not going again because its boring Smile so I get to spend the whole day with Mum and she wants to go shopping to the Great Metropolis we lovingly call Bolton Hmm Wish me luck...I WILL need it!

triplets · 22/04/2013 23:06

I do wish you luck, because I know its frustrating, tiring and sad all rolled into one. I could kill for a bag of nuts.......:o

Just spent two hours cleaning the car, now off to the shop on my bike!

OP posts:
shabbatheGreek · 23/04/2013 15:46

Dad didn't go to the hospice - he bribed me and Mum to leave him alone for a couple of hours Grin Went all round the shops - twice!! I hate shopping as well Rubester. Got back to Mums. She wanted me to have something to eat but I wasn't hungry. She brought me a fancy pint glass in full to the top with coke and ice. Drank half of it because I was so thirsty and then realised it was almost three quarters full of Bacardi and coke!!!! My God I feel pi**ed!!! LOL. Gawd knows what I have put in the cooker for Toms tea!!!!

Evening everyone, how is everyone.

dd today has been very, very quiet. Usually she's quiet and soft spoken and plays quietly and actively with her brothers. Today, she's even been having way too many naps (she fell asleep standing on buggy board so had to put her in the pushchair, and carry dts2 who was awake!).

Both dts are now crawling experts! So proud.

triplets · 23/04/2013 22:37

Evening girls...........ohhhh so envious of your trip girls, never got to Alcatraz myself, stayed in a small hotel in SF last time we went and from our window you could see Alcatraz in the fog with its eerie yellow light............spooky! I love San Fran, wonder if the Christmas Store is still on the pier? I have a lovely photo of Matthew sat with Father Christmas, 90 degrees.............happy days. Are you going to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge to Saulsilito? Shabs :o All quiet here today, dd came home from school and was polite to me............Thomas stayed home today as he looked pale and sicky, dk has spent most of the day on his back as his abdo is aching and I have been very productive! Walked to town salon the beach in the glorious sunshine, home by 11am and finished painting my shed, cleaned all the windows and then baked sausage rolls and cheese straws for packed lunches.......if only all days were like this :)

shabbatheGreek · 23/04/2013 22:43

Oh the Christmas Store in San Francisco...is that the one on Pier 39 Trips? So hard to believe that before any of our children arrived we were in the USA for 6 months. Maybe that was in 'another life' or on 'another planet?' I love the Christmas Store xxx
