Oh I agree so much Trips.....told Dad that what is going to happen is 'normal' it is the aging process, even though it will be so painful for all his family. What happened to his grandsons is disgraceful. He asked how it felt for me when my sons died and I said 'Like being hit in the face over and over again with a brick....never ending and unrelenting pain hour after hour, year after year. xx

shabbatheGreek · 17/04/2013 23:54

Gawd my last post sounds so selfish and self centered - it came out all wrong x

MultipleMama · 18/04/2013 06:07

Morning, girls. Looks like I'm up for the day. Dts happily talking to each other in crib and I can hear dd waking up over monitor.

Shab Sorry to hear things are worse with your dad :(

triplets · 18/04/2013 06:31

Goodmorning Mama, goodmorning girls..............I have my window open, there is a hint of Spring out there........the birds are singing and a hazy warmth...........ahhhhhhhh:)

shabbatheGreek · 18/04/2013 06:46

Morning girls xx

Sokmonsta · 18/04/2013 09:35

Morning!

Shabs, you are not being selfish. You are worried for your family. Sending hugs your way.

Jabs went fine. Babies cried when the needles were stuck in but were all smiles and giggle very quickly. They slept really well yesterday/last night.

MultipleMama · 18/04/2013 19:58

Hey, everyone, I have some news. I had my 7+2 scan this morning and I confirmed that I am expecting rockstar 1 & rockstar 2. There are 2 sacs and 2 poles, so they're fraternal :)

A part from that a normal busy day. How has everyone's day been?

Sokmonsta · 18/04/2013 20:18

Blimey mama! I'm speechless (in a good way). I'd want twins again if we do decide to actually have more children as I'm now really anal about having equal numbers.

MultipleMama · 18/04/2013 20:24

Despite knowing it was a possibility from my high HCG levels, I still made him check twice! After seeing the blobs on the screen, it all suddenly became real. I'm wishing for 12 weeks to come so I can tell people and relax a little.

I think 6 is a good equal number for us! Lol.

bubby64 · 18/04/2013 21:04

Shabs - your dad sounds so nice, and I know it will be hard to lose him, but Trips is right, and it is so nice he can tell you everything he wants to, and all of you can tell him how much he means to you.
Mama Grin Grin - you really are going to have your hands full, a blue and pink blob would just finish your brood off nicelyWink
Soks -Glad the jabs went well.
Trips - it was sunny but very windy here this morning, but the wind was warm, which was so nice.
I had my first physo terrorist appointment today, and that is not a miss spelling! Lord, my leg and foot know all about her tender ministrations this afternoon. I also went to see my boss, who looked at my leg, and said I was not to come back until the consultant gave the ok, and if this went over my sick pay allowances she would "sort something out"Smile She said she didn't want me to mess up everything that has been achieved so far.She is soooooo different from her predecessor its untrue, if it had been my old boss, she would have had me back at work asap, even if it meant me going around the factory on my knees!

shabbatheGreek · 18/04/2013 21:37

Just got home from 6 hours in A & E!! Dad has a water infection that has made him so confused. He was 100% better when I just left him....they had him on a drip for a while and gave him anti biotics. He is staying overnight in the 'community unit.' Small, very informal part of the hospital where elderly people are taken for assessment. They just told him that he will only be in overnight. Tomorrow they are organising carers twice a day for him AND my Mum. Going to put him a stair lift in and do a few alterations to his house to make it work better for him and Mum.

I am so far beyond being hungry and tired....why is it so bloody hot in hospitals? We got male nurse Matt again Smile and the Sister in A & E was the mum of a school friend of my Matt. She hugged me when she saw me.

xxxxxxxxxx

MultipleMama · 18/04/2013 22:03

bubby I'm hoping for a girl. Dd is surrounded by boys and it would be great for her to have a sister and for me to do more girl things! Haha.

Glad the jabs went fine!

shabs I've been in somewhat a similar situation and it must be awfult but you're not selfish. You're hurting and that's okay. Glad to here that the carers are stepping up to help, less things to worry about and you all can concentrate on enjoying your time together.

Okay, tandem bf over with, time to get some sleep. Night everyone!

triplets · 18/04/2013 22:17

Shabs.......a water infection can really pull you down, he is in the right place tonight. Very glad to here the social services are pulling out the stops.
Now Mama ShockI bow down in awe!
Just nibbled the lst of my b/day chocolate.................and I know I shouldn`t as I need to lose weight, but oh it was nice!
Not much else to report..............unusually tranquil in Peace Towers!

MultipleMama · 18/04/2013 22:35

No bowing required just a simple "you're bloody crazy" will do. Dh has a new rule: 8 years before even thinking of another child. I prefer 10 years lol.

MultipleMama · 19/04/2013 06:20

Morning, girls.

Hoping to take the twins swimming this afternoon as it'll be just me and dts until 5.

Any plans for today, girls?

Morning girls x

Wow, are you crazy, multiplemama?? Are they all yours? Do you not have a tv? You do know where babies come from, Right? Wow, you have your hands full don't you?

You might as well get used to it! WinkGrin

Honestly though, huge congratulations!! that is fabulous news xx

Sorry to hear about your dad, shabs, sounds like he is in the best place though, and glad they are putting support in place for him.

Not much news here. DH is glad it is Friday, I'm thinking I'm sure the kids shouldn't be needing more time off school already! I'm off out with a friend tomo though, so he can deal with them. Grin

Afternoon girls. Sitting here quietly with the animals until boys get home, enjoying the peace before the hustle and bustle of the weekend. cold here today, hope it gets better over the weekend.

Sokmonsta · 19/04/2013 15:48

So tired! Bigs first week back at school. A very grumpy, tired 4 and 2yo. Twins are decidedly grouchy in-between bouts of pure pleasure and play.

Off to do baths, tea and bed. For the dc. Although I'm sure ill follow shortly after.

triplets · 19/04/2013 19:19

Does anyone want to join me for a glass of Wine feeling totally stressed since 3pm with my dd`s shenanigans!!

shabbatheGreek · 19/04/2013 19:32

Yes please Trips.....whats DD done?

MultipleMama · 19/04/2013 20:12

chops - Yes, I'm crazy, I must be. Yes, they are all mine, although right now that's debatable, right little cheeky buggers they are Grin. I do have TV which mostly plays dvds, and unfortunately I do know where they come from, but damn their little cute alien faces for making me have more. Thank you :)

trips I'll join you with a glass of oj. It's nice to know my dd isn't the only one causing havoc lol

Oh, guys, question? Do you call it reception or preschool? I've been around dh so long I call it preschool and got confused when a mum mentioned reception this morning, I thought she was crazy until I clicked on!

Sokmonsta · 19/04/2013 21:51

Preschool/reception depends on the age of the dc for me. Emily started reception class aged 4 in sept 2012. James is nearly 3 and started preschool a couple of months after he turned 2 (ours takes them from 2). To me preschool is very different from reception. Although I know the eyf programme or whatever they call the syllabus is very similar.

Sokmonsta · 19/04/2013 21:54

Trips, I will join you with a very large glass bottle of a superb white wine (even though I'm not supposed to drink on my new meds) and be glad that the dc finally went to sleep. Absolutely wiped here. First week back at school and the elder 'd'c have pretty much had a personality transplant. To the point where as of tomorrow I am instigating the traffic light system in a vain attempt at installing some order/indicator or my mood!

bubby64 · 19/04/2013 22:02

Trips- have another one with me Wine, my 2 squabbling since they got home from school, and it has carried on now back from Young Farmers- sent them to bed as fed up with themAngry
