Ds1 is 4 (starts year 1 in Sept - early entry) the lady's son was in ds1's class so he's in reception. Dh is German and calls it preschool, he think's there on in same and I kinda agree much easier than remembering proper names lol.

I'll read and reply properly in the morning/evening. This phone is too stupid for a tired mama to type and read one. Night!

triplets · 19/04/2013 23:43

Down "sowf" from 2-4yrs its pre school then its reception! Oh she is driving me insane. Doesnt come home from school, txt me at 3.30pm to say can she stay out with her mate just for an hour, so I said ok. At 3.45pm she txt to say they are going to Dover on the train, she has no money so friend paying. So I phone her to say no, they are already on the train. So I txt my brother who happens to be a manager at Dover station to keep an eye out for her and let me know who she is. He said she wasnt on the train!! She then txts to say they are in MacDonalds with some other friends, I ask her when and how she is getting home and she says she thinks someones Mum is picking them up! She then finally txts me to say she is walking home from the station at 6.30pm, her friends Mum dropped her off there, which is strange as she would have driven past our house with her to do that!!!!! Dover is a terrible place, it attracts all the down and outs, has a huge drug problem and on average someone gets stabbed there every week! I told her I worry and she replied "of for Gods sake". Now wheres that Wine?

MultipleMama · 20/04/2013 06:20

Ahh, so it is pre school, so why did she say reception? Confused. Will be glad when he starts in Sept and I can just say school! Haha.

Oh dear, trips sounds like you got your hands full. How old is dd, maybe she was secretly meeting a boyfriend.

MultipleMama · 20/04/2013 06:27

Dd swore at dh this morning, he was not impressed in the slightest and told her off which caused a tantrum where she poked one of twins forcefully while sleeping making dts1 cry, so he told her off again and now I'm dealing with a toddler who won't stop crying and refuses to let go of my neck. What wonderful morning!

And mama - my James does exactly the same thing. We tell him off, he goes and shoves one of the twins. It's like they feel they are being told off by the big person so they can take it out on a small person.

Sat down with a Brew been painting my garden shed and got fed up of it! If the wind would clear off it would be lovely today, always breezy on this corner. Am going to sit here and look for a holiday, we have such restricted dates now, school ends on the 25th July, both boys doing their DOE silver on the 27/28/29th, James is going to camp with the ATC from the 3-10th Aug, Thomas didn`t want to go, and we are going to a wedding (Matthews best friend Anna) on the 28th and school is back on the 2nd! My heart wants to go to America, but my purse says no !
Shabs I expect you are with your lovely Dad, hope he is coming home today. xx

shabbatheGreek · 20/04/2013 16:54

He is home Trips......just rang and my Mum sounds so content. She said 'your Dad hasn't had a shave for 4 days he has got a silvery grey beard and he is so handsome. I never realised how handsome he is.'

triplets · 20/04/2013 17:12

awww that's lovely Shabs, so pleased he`s back xx

bubby64 · 20/04/2013 18:49

Hi All, - Trips, Mama could be right, has she got a fella? Even so, I'm sorry to say, but whatever you say will be met with disdain and eye rolling Hmm This is the age where they are always right and completely invincible!
Shabs- glad to hear your dad is home.
Soks/mama - later on the twins will hit each other when they get told off, and so it continues.....Wink
Hi Ruby & Chops

MultipleMama · 20/04/2013 19:39

bubby I'm dreading when they start to do that!

soks We finally got her to apologise to him and hug him but she's been so grumpy today. Hope she's being better tomorrow.

shabs If that isn't the sweetest thing I've ever heard! Glad he's home.

triplets · 20/04/2013 22:37

I am fed up, been in bed since 8pm, needed to get out of dks way or I would have exploded. For some reason at supper he got in a very sulky mood, critized me on a couple of things. Sometimes I wonder why I bother.

MultipleMama · 21/04/2013 06:29

Morning, girls. Dd is still in a lousy mood and demonstrated this by throwing her plate on the floor and refusing to get dressed, I've sent dh upstairs to deal with her.

Dts slept 5 hours straight last night. It's probably a fluke knowing my luck.

Off to DGs for Sunday dinner.

Oh trips, you should treat yourself to something. It's not nice feeling unwanted :(

triplets · 21/04/2013 07:15

Goodmorning Mama sounds like your dd is a teen already!! Girls are hard work, with boys what you see is what you get! Spent hours and hours repainting my shed, now feel I have chosen the wrong colour, spent a fortune on paint, dk very critical as he is the diy expert as he plainly told me! Oh well...........the sun is shining on my filthy windows, do we ever stop working girls?

Morning Ruby, thats another problem, our hall is prepped and ready to go, been like it for weeks. Again cant decide on what to do with it, quite fancy a striped stair runner, walls would then have to be painted plain. Or.........a feature wallpaper on main wall and plain carpet. Just haven seen anything I really like!

bubby64 · 21/04/2013 19:09

hi girlies.
Trips - will the paint on the shed mellow in colour over the summer? Also, take your time with the hallway, and get it right.
Ruby - just paint it all cream or white, a blank canvas, that's what all those house selling experts say Smile
Still having problems with J, tbh, he's being a real pain in the arse, had a huge blow-up again last night after a nice day. All because we told him to get off his laptop at 9.30, and when he still refused at 9.45, dh went ballistic. J threw things, screamed and and shouted abuse, trashed his room, the living room and our bedroom, and finally settled down at nearly 11, by which time I was in tearsSad .
This morning, he is full of apologies, but he doesn't really mean it, he just wants his laptop and 'phone back, and doesn't want to be grounded, which is what his punishment is. I have decided I need to talk to his counsellor at school, so they understand the problems we havevwith him at home, as he doesn't really show this side of his personality at school.

bubby64 · 21/04/2013 19:33

sorry, posted too soon....
Soks - hope your dd is out of her snit.
Hope everything ok with your dad and mum, shabs, and SS are doing what they promised.
Now sitting here with a bottle of Wine following a roast and pud, getting quietly smashed and chilling.Grin

MultipleMama · 21/04/2013 20:26

Evening girls.

trips To say she's awfully shy and quiet, she doesn't half through a tantrum when she wants to.

Father has been a godsend today, he offered to let ds1 and dd stay over for the night, and he'll take them to creche and school tomorrow and return them in the evening. They're such angels for DG, and if I'm being honest I'm glad I don't have to deal with bath & bed tonight.

Dts are little superstars and are soundly fast asleep. They're taking to the sippy cup really well.

Now, time to snuggle with dh and watch normal TV!

triplets · 21/04/2013 22:50

Bubby, poor you.....it all becomes a battleground doesnt it? I have 2 in particular who are always saying sorry and you know damn well they dont mean it. I find my emotions thrown all over the place with my three. I love them to bits but I am really struggling with this teenage stage, I feel I am always on their backs because they really are incredibly untidy and lazy. Right up until my bedtime I am continually tidying up after them and at my age I am pretty fed up with it. I go in the kitchen an hour ago, cupboard doors left open, cereal packets left open, spilt sugar, shoes. I come upstairs to find the bathroom a tip after Rebecca, both their rooms shocking to the state of being dirty, and bloody bath towels thrown over the banister.............9 towels!! No one will use the same one twice!!! I hate hate nagging, so often I just clear it up myself, then I think of Matthew, my lovely teenage boy and so wish he was here to leave his room a mess :(

Teens are simply incomprehensible. One minute dd will be fine, the next she is a stroppy little so and so for absolutely no reason! I try to avoid her as much as possible when she is on one!

I'm hopefully off to the west end tonight to take Shay to his first film premiére - the kids film All Stars! Must get out in a bit and earn some cals so I can take him to MDs for his tea.

Mine are all messy and lazy given half a chance. I check now before we need to leave for school. Some mornings it looks like a porridge bomb has gone off in the kitchen. I don't know what they do with it. I tend to tell them though, if they haven't cleaned up after themselves, no video games. That mostly works!
