Oh bubs! Hope you have a better day today. Contrite is all well and good if they learn!

We have has a 'successful' weekend. I got a new raincover for my eBay pushchair from kiddicare, new rubber gloves so mine aren't leaking and making my eczema play up (oh the curse of having found ones I like in only one place grr), got rid of some more Christmas presents to a friend as she was visiting her mum and we were passing by. Also made plans to go up and see her during half term.

Jennifer has been enjoying rolling round the floor and Joshua has been exploring/eating everything in sight!

I'm currently cleaning mumsnetting the house. Have informed dh we WILL be swapping the bedrooms round during half term and was most surprised when I told him we'd need to get filler when we take our shelf/pictures down - he suggested we redecorate! So going to be getting colour charts and quite excited Grin

Shabs/Trips- James went to school this morning in his fleece as he had left his new coat in his locker, they have both "lost" their lovely warm , expensive M&S coats bought last spring, they were not 'cool' apparently, but I refused to buy new ones whilst they still fitted, I gave in and bought them a coat each last week (both reduced by 70%) in sports direct, they are quite thin compared to the ones they lost, but still better than no coat at all, and trendy enough to wear to school!
Soks - well done you! A DH who volunteers to re-decorate, where did I go wrong!
Mike is wielding the Hoover as I type, and James has made me a cup of tea and now unloading the dishwasher, bless them
Coming off the oramorph over the last couple of days, this is making me feel a bit nauseated and unwell. DHkeeps on at me to eat more, but I am struggling to do more than pick at meals as I am just not feeling hungry, I am losing weight, which I need to do, but not because I am trying, also, getting about uses a lot of calories ATM.

Morning x

Had home start manager visit today. I get to keep my lady! They'll be changing policy soon but as I'm an existing 'client' I get to say when I want her to stop coming instead of being stuck to 6 months only.

Thats good news Soks as I said before, I loved, (and still love!) our HS lady, we are still in contact all these years down the line.
Looks lovely outside, with everything covered in snow, we even got a mention on "winterwatch" last night, or at least Wattisham airfield did, 3 miles away, as it was reported they had 9cm of snow, the most that fell in the area yesterday.

Oh trips, you must come and chat, you don't bore us and I've been wondering where you were. Poor dh, hope the ct scan goes ok.

soks good news about the hs lady. Ours was lovely too, the boys still remember her and they were tiny at the time.

I bought new scales yesterday and instantly gained 8lbs! Slim chance of losing it all in time for august now :( Oh well, last day of week 2 for c25k today so i am making progress at least.

Hi All. Charliemouse, nice to see you!
Trips- hang on in there, I hope your DH's scan went ok. Don't worry about coming on here and having a moan, this is the place you can do so without reservation.
It's a good thing the boys phones were eligible for an upgrade, as Mikes went through the washing machine yesterday! R is trying so hard to keep uo with everything, but forgot to check pockets, and, of course, the boys wouldn't even think of doing it!
Trying to get the boys to do more, J vacuumed living room yesterday, M did hallway and stairs today, but it all ended with much hilarity as they found out what it was like to stick the Hoover pipe on their privates!!! Boy's!!!! Hmm Shock Grin However, J will only do jobs he finds fun, and even had the cheek to ask for payment yesterday!Hmm M is a lot more willing, but I am trying not to let J take advantage of him, which he will do very readily.
I am being taken out by some of my friends tomorrow, only down the church weekly coffee morning, but it will be good to get out.Smile

Hoovers and 'willies & dangleberrys' ROFL - thats Lews new word for his bits - dont know why but dangleberrys makes me snort laughing. Him and his Daddy were parading around the living room last night with raw carrotts zipped up in their trouser zippers Grin Em was not impressed so I had to curb my sniggers!!
