Yes bubbly I was in WDW and am all star wars out!! Ds1 is playing it in the wii as I type as we had Christmas presents when we arrived home yesterday.

Our dts are 5 in March and I joined the thread when I was pregnant with them so over 5 years ago. So much has happened since then, pixi and I had another baby each whilst LG&T managed to fit in several

I am TOTALLY sober. Went to bed at 11.50pm last night, having not turned on any Hogmanay telly (Sky+ only) and fell asleep to the distant sound of fireworks in the town centre. Have just sent kids on their merry way to spend the afternoon walking around the reservoir with their dad (they'll hate it but they do, admittedly, need the fresh air and exercise). I have just turned to look at my hellhole house and will try to run through it like Tinkerbloodybell awarding magic clean and tidy spots throughout. Then.....cook some lamb for a New Year's dinner with a "good friend" All is well. All is well. Ooogs, and Kelly too!! Happy New Year one and all xxxxx.

What is the best thing that has happened to you this year?

Me.......a coffee in bed from my DD1 at 9am. Yahoo!!!

This is prob the first day of the hols when we are doing sod all and I am making the most of it!

Best of 2011 is probably dd going up to High school and finally settling down socially. She has moved away from some unpleasant situations and has a big circle of friends now and is finally happy! Also, winning a trip to the Super Bowl in a few weeks comes a close second!

Worst was def dt1 breaking his arm. He will be back for his second op in March to remove the pin, though thankfully it has all healed perfectly - just got some impressive scars!

Got another bleedin cold sore, what a start to the New Year.
2011? Should have been a happy one with DH being all clear, but somehow it just seemed more stressful.Got to be happier, thats my NY resolution, and to lose weight, eat more fruit, and be happy with my lot!

I so need to lose weight too! I lost three stone last summer, then put most of it back on this year. I'm going to start at the gym from this week again and hopefully lose some before we go Chicago. I was fat last time we went to America and I really wanted to be slimmer for the next time, so could buy some nice clothes from the outlets!

I also have my gorgeous pair of boots which barely do up over my fat calves atm, which I NEED to get into.

Happy New Year to you all!!! Not entirely sure what 2012 will have in store for us. It was supposed to be the year we got back on track financially, but seeing that DH's contract ended a week before christmas (again) I've no idea what'll happen. Last year was awful though so hopefully whatever happens will be better.

I am still in that Dts turned 5 a few days ago!!!

My resolutions for this year involve increasing fitness, decreasing weight, generally looking after myself a bit more and finishing my degree.

Evening all..................just finished off a box of Florentines (M&S of course) working on the the thought that the sooner they are gone the better, just one bag of Belgian choc peanuts, two bags of choc brazils and a big box of Dairybox to go........................its sooooooo hard but I`ll manage :o

Tom is not back at school till the 10th of December and Lew is around the same time. So, tomorrow, for the first time in about two weeks the Lewmeister will be here about 7am....I am not tired and cant sleep...Gawd help me in the morning.

and my boys are in my house tonight. I have 'caught sight' of Matt a couple of times. Its wonderful...slightly spooky...but wonderful. A good friend did a pastel drawing of Matt for us and its very, very good. The picture was upstairs but, on Lews instructions, it is now in our living room. Since he 'moved' I see him often.

Oh Shabs I am so envious, do you feel happy? I would give anything to see Matthew, anything.
Why is Tom so late going back, mine finished on the 16th and are back Weds 4th, thank the Lord!

Trips, the schools around here didn't finish until the 21st of December so that must be the reason for them STILL being off!!!!

I do feel happy when the boys are around. I cant explain any better than this - they are here and out of the corner of my eye I catch movement and just know who it is!!

One of mine has gone back, and dt2 decided he was moving out the day after Xmas and so just the two boys home. Dt2 is adamant that he is NOT returning home and that uncle is going to enroll him in the private school next to his house he is very happy there, he has his own mobile phone and gets to sit on the laptop and eat snacks on the sofa! He is starting to miss dt1 though and thinks his new tv in his bedroom is probably missing him too!

He has barely been home all holiday and it is amazing what difference even one being away makes. it's gang to be very quiet tomo when they do all go back to school.

Good for you pixi, I've still not finished mine. Tried three times to get through the last module and just found it too hard!

blitz the coconut quality street and mix it with some icecream - it much nicer than eating them on their own!

We've barely touched our Xmas food cos we were out so much. Finally cooked the ham yesterday, and was eating week old goose in sarnies the day before! Luckily we didn't buy a lot of crap and it mainly meat in the freezer we got left.
