child benefit not paid

hi i normally receive my payments every monday for one child (4yo) i’ve received no letters or anything and had payment as normal last week. Although my payments are on mondays, i receive them saturday due to my bank, but this week it hasn’t come through and it’s not my bank as carers has come through like every other week as normal. No change of address etc and her dad wouldn’t of put a claim in and don’t think i can contact them till monday so stressed at what’s going on

will be interesting to see what there excuse is! Beyond disgusted by it.. mothers left short and stressed. Absolute disgrace

On my HSBC app Bacs payments and clearing cheques show as " upcoming payments" but this one hasn't

They will need to put out a generalised message to explain why this has effected so many first thing… it’ll be impossible to get through.
my worry is, if this is a huge F up, it could take time to fix :( panicking so much

Well they better sort it and pay us all quick smart. We all have kids to think off. Its kids money by law

I'm with hsbc. Mine jot gone in either. I use this as money to het the boys from school and to pay for breakfast club. Feel sick.

Just contacted My bank. They just said no pending payment due today or tomorrow.

I got mine as normal. Due today but went in on Saturday as always (Barclays).

So what is HMRC gunna do about this

Now 3.30am Monday morning still not had child benifit I bank with barcleys

It’s date stamped for today. It was available on Saturday though, that’s always been the case. It looks like it’s definitely an issue at HMRCs end and not certain banks.

Halifax here and not been paid 😢 was relying on it for the food shop

I've just spoke to my bank and they've told me I have to wait until Tuesday to contact HMRC

I bank with starling and incoming payments usually show a few days before but nothing from child benefit. Payment due today but not received. Has anyone else had there's this morning?

I am in the same boat! I bank with Starling and was expecting my child benefit today (Monday 3rd). My bank usually shows this as incoming the Friday before but I’ve had nothing show all weekend. My carers allowance has been paid though, and my HMRC app shows me the child benefit payment for today has been issued yet I don’t have it. I’ll contact my bank and see what they say.
