child benefit not paid

hi i normally receive my payments every monday for one child (4yo) i’ve received no letters or anything and had payment as normal last week. Although my payments are on mondays, i receive them saturday due to my bank, but this week it hasn’t come through and it’s not my bank as carers has come through like every other week as normal. No change of address etc and her dad wouldn’t of put a claim in and don’t think i can contact them till monday so stressed at what’s going on

Mines not in either I'm with santander usually goes in Sunday night for Monday

I'm super worried now... not had our payment either and bank is showing me £62 over my overdraft. I've got UC going in this week, but was counting on the CHB to cover the direct debits due Monday. It's worrying so many are affected, but hopefully means they will fix it quickly. I'm dreading the charges and worried about the impact of failed direct debits 😢

It’s a joke I’m at end of month and scrimping and scraping to make ends meet . This is of the bank from Saturday

I'm so glad to finally have found some information online about this as I was panicking and freaking out. I'm also a Barclays customer and my Child Benefit has always gone in on a Saturday at midnight, but now it's 12:40am on Monday and still nothing. According to my HMRC account, my payment is due 3rd June, so where is it!?

I know some people are saying HMRC are having issues but has anyone been able to find anything official from HMRC to confirm this so we can know what's going on and hopefully get rid of some of this anxiety that is giving me sleepless nights!

If anyone manages to get through to HMRC in the morning please do update us, I'll be following ... hopefully it'll be sorted quickly.

They better get the payments to hit bank accounts ASAP or there will be so many people arguing on the phone with HMRC in the morning

I checked again, but still has not been paid!

I am due to receive my child benefit 3/6 and I always get paid as soon as it turns 00:00am but I have not received anything yet.

This is ridiculous it better not b same tomoro for child tax credits

It’s now 00:53 and still not been payed 🤦‍♀️ really need that money today as well

So glad I have seen this post, I bank with Barclays, and always goes in on Saturday. We are now on Monday and mine still hasn’t gone in. Hope it gets sorted as now bank account negative.

I bank with starling the payment always shows as incoming but isn’t today. I’ve contacted them they haven’t received a mandate for any payments

Starling bank for me! They claim it’s not showing at all and on live chat they were a bit perplexed by it

Can't sleep... keep checking my bank and it is not there 😓 there must be an explanation, so HMRC should have released some sort of statement or update by now. Has anyone emailed papers? Wondering if we link some of the nationals or news, they may pick it up and get a response quicker than we can as phone lines will be mayhem in the morning 😞

I’m having the same problem usually get mine at midnight Saturday but nothing. Let’s hope it’s fixed asap!

I think we can send a link and just a quick blurb to say that there is an issue with child benefit payments. There are a couple of posts on fb also, so it is looking like a fairly widespread issue. At least if it hits the news then we should get some leeway for direct debits or payments not going through. If as many of us email the sun, bbc and/or itv maybe they will pick it up first thing?

I rung HMRC Friday as it usually shows as pending. She said that it was definitely going in their end and she had a few phonecalls regarding this and not to worry. Still not paid though 🤷‍♀️
