child benefit not paid

hi i normally receive my payments every monday for one child (4yo) i’ve received no letters or anything and had payment as normal last week. Although my payments are on mondays, i receive them saturday due to my bank, but this week it hasn’t come through and it’s not my bank as carers has come through like every other week as normal. No change of address etc and her dad wouldn’t of put a claim in and don’t think i can contact them till monday so stressed at what’s going on

I haven’t had mine in either! Kinda just assumed it would be in on the 3rd x

@Feralfarmmumma do you normally receive yours on the saturday though? My payment is due on the 3rd however virgin money pays it in on the saturday. My carers allowance has gone in just not child benefit

If the payment isn't due until Monday, it's probably too early to be panicking about it. It might still be in your bank by Monday morning.

Banks often do overnight or weekend system updates that can slow things down.

@Bjorkdidit i know it’s not due till monday but other payments due monday are in today and child benefit normally is to so i’m not sure what’s going on

Does anyone know any reason for this.. UC payment was due today statement was up as usual beforehand, with being a Sat I should have been paid beforehand such as yesterday, received no money stoll, no notification of any issue confused & wondering when I will be paid??

Revolut is not working and I can just about get on our banking app but can't order currency so wonder if it's a systems issue

The Universal Credit when I spoke to them yesterday said it was fine their end the payment had gone through to be sent to my bank as normal & gave a reference for the transaction. I bank with Santander they are stating nothing has came in or been rejected I don't know what to do my payment should be paid by today well yesterday now its a weekend do you think I will get my payment there was nothing in journal or to do list, the statement was up normal time days ago with the amount i'm getting paid etc don't know what i'm meant to do

im having same problem normally child benefit goes in Saturdays for years now no change nothing but had nothing this morning hopefully I’m not the only one

I've seen elsewhere people haven't recieved it. All bank with Barclays. Mine has been paid (virgin money).

No point worrying. If it's not due til Monday worry on Monday. They probably just pressed a button a bit later than normal. See the having it on Saturday as a bonus rathe than what should happen

I'm so glad I've just seen this, I bank with Monzo so can normally claim the money at 4pm on a Friday, I can do this with another payment too which went in fine on Friday at 4pm, my CB is not currently showing for Monday either but I have logged into my HMRC portal thing and it shows the payment as the 3rd June so hoping it's just a banking error or some button that just needs pushing or something...🤞🏻 for Monday

Mine usually goes in on a Saturday although should get Monday. I bank with barclays and there is thousands that haven't had theirs either not just me

Hi I bank with starling and it normally shows me on a Saturday what money going in my account on a Monday which would normally be my child benefit but its not showing me so iv been stressing about it xx

I bank with Barclays, and it is over 5 years that child benefit pays every four weeks Saturdays, but yesterday found out unlike online payment shows due date 3th of June but it has not paid yet!

I'm so glad I've seen this, I'm due mine tomorrow (3rd june) but bank with barclays and it usually clears on a saturday and it didn't yesterday. Hopefully it clears tomorrow 😳

Hi, mine goes in on a Saturday too and also hasn’t gone in. I think it’s likely that they’ve had an update to how they pay it in, and that we’ll get this tomorrow (monday).

Hey guys I've not had mine either it isn't just you guys normally monzo shows on Friday for Monday and I've not been paid it either. Very strange.

I have been in contact with Barclays regarding the same issue. Apparently the HMRC website has undergone an information update which is why payments are delayed.
We should receive payment Monday or Tuesday.
They requested I waited until Monday to check if the funds are credited and if not to contact HMRC.

I normally get my Monday payments on a Saturday bank with barclays always been the same for last 13 years and nothing this sat must be a system error somewhere. I'll start panicking if it disent hit tomorrow morning

I bank with HSBC and even though it doesn't go in till the correct date. It usually shows as a pending upcoming payment about 2 days before. Mine's due tomorrow and there isn't a pending payment showing for the first time. I'm getting worried as no pending payment means it hasn't been processed. Unless they do it as a fast track tomorrow morning its gonna scupper my plans for taking the kids out for the day.
