child benefit not paid

hi i normally receive my payments every monday for one child (4yo) i’ve received no letters or anything and had payment as normal last week. Although my payments are on mondays, i receive them saturday due to my bank, but this week it hasn’t come through and it’s not my bank as carers has come through like every other week as normal. No change of address etc and her dad wouldn’t of put a claim in and don’t think i can contact them till monday so stressed at what’s going on

Hi girls im a full time dad of four children and im up early on this fabulous Monday morning so while having a ciggy I thought ill check me bank as all my bills go out today then BOOM the shock horror of it hits me WHERE IS THE CHILD BENEFIT PAYMENT!!!!! yes so my carers money has gone in but my child benefit money has not! Now I’m pretty stuffed as we rely on that to go towards food shop! What the hell is going on? Unfortunately I see it’s happened to a few of you but does anyone no exactly why? As it’s not very good cos people rely on that money for obvious reasons kind regards adrian

My sons DLA payment showing for tomorrow but nothing for child benefit that was due this morning. HMRC also shows 3rd June payment date on statement. Not sure what's going on!

Can someone let me know what happens when they call, because i can tell loads of people are going to be calling in.
This payment not coming in has affected us all stressed out on what we will do for the kids. Hopefully it gets sorted asap as my kids will go hungry if not

tell you what there’s gunna be a lot of very tierd and stressed out mums and dads calling hmrc this morning I hope they have got there defences sorted! The phone lines are gunna be off the scale!! And rightly so people rely on that money for there children it’s unacceptable

My monthly payment was due today but not been paid. Would usually have received it by now 🤔

I bank with monzo and still nothing yet. Absolute joke I need it so much today for food shopping.I really hope it goes in today

This is a joke, been up all night now, nearly time to get up for school and no money for food shopping today by the looks of it. Can't wait until 8am to get on the phone! Phone lines are going to be jammed, whoever gets an explanation first please come back and let us known.... It's going to be a long day 😕

23rd October in the telegraph. They wouldn't of upgraded the system at the end of the tax year... It's a possibility this could be what's happened... With it affecting the payments to so many different banks....? I don't know.... Might aswell get up now 🥱

I'm in the same boat, I usually get paid every Monday literally years without fail but I've checked this morning and no payment? Luckily it was my scottish child payment date too and ive received that but so many people will be relying on this money today.

I’m with nationwide and usually my payment goes in every Monday without a doubt at around 12:30am but nothing still! I thought I was the only one, I started panicking!

Mine is due on the 3 June but usually shows as pending and it’s not, it’s not there now either, I bank with hsbc

Also HSBC and my payments usually show as pending the working day before its due. So my CB was due today and hasn't gone in and wasn't showing as pending on Friday either.

I've just checked my bank (tsb) and carers has been paid but no child benefit

I get my Scottish child payment next week I hope that's not affected 🤞. It's really strange that child benefit hasn't been paid. I can't remember this ever happening before in the 8yrs of having it

Hi guys I have been reading through all your posts about child benefit and barclays I have exactly the same problem and mine still hasn't gone in to my account and i also bank with barclays!!

My does state the 3rd on the website however again usually goes in on a Saturday too!!
Has anyone received theirs today as I haven't so going to phone hrmc xxx
