It's my first time starting one of these threads so I hope the links all work!

Welcome back to those who have joined in before and hello to any newbies that want to jump on board - if you have any questions fire away and someone will hopefully be able to help!

Just taken the Crisp test again after being on the waiting list for two years. Applied to Lionbridge and every available project on Appen, plus registered for a new one called Userpeek. Think I may have to get back into matched betting. It's been so long, I can't remember how to do it!

Any new suggestions would be gratefully received!

MoreMoneyPlease · 08/01/2022 16:12

Actually, 20p from Streetbees has just been paid into my Paypal so things are looking up already...

AppleJane · 08/01/2022 17:18

@fedup078

Just withdrew £10 which I built up using free bets on Sky Vegas Took a few months to build up but it was a bit of fun for no cost if nothing else

Hello Smile can I ask how you did that? Most weeks I can get at least £10 free money from my Sky sports / Vegas account. Let me know if you need any help.

Look after the pennies and they shall turn into pounds Smile

I so nearly posted this saying pen*s instead of pennies Blush

LostLlamaSociety · 08/01/2022 19:15

I can never seem to find where to apply for Lionbridge, has anyone got a direct link please?

8dpwoah · 08/01/2022 19:28

Just seen that I'm on £44 (points) on Populus live, wonder how many more years it will take me to hit the magic £50 to cash out 😂

8dpwoah · 08/01/2022 19:37

Just had a quick look at the WWW audio test and I had remembered it right, the key stumbling block I had was researching all the names and company names. But I think the test files are generally different so I may have just had a heavy one? Other than that and following the guidelines to the letter I can't think of any other good tips for folks ☹️

SandyPanda · 08/01/2022 21:15

Is anyone on Nil3? I've not been getting anything on the survey tool for about a week now.

ruralwanderer · 09/01/2022 07:31

Re: Top Cashback, if any of you do your food deliveries online with Sainsburys, remember to do that through Top Cashback! I'd forgotten and when I did it last night, I made £1.72 cashback on a £70 shop so it's well worth doing.

@AnotherOne4 I can't be bothered to look after any penises, no matter how many pounds I get!

reddA · 09/01/2022 16:32

Just catching up with you all, it's been a while! I gave Crisp up and haven't been invited to Am*r for months which is a shame. I've been working from home in a real job for over 6 months so not had much time to do extra. If anyone is looking for regular work just message me as they are recruiting at the moment, it's call handling (not sales) but it's actually okay, nice to get a proper wage and not leave the house Grin

This made me snort 😂

AnotherOne4 · 09/01/2022 17:25

Will be pm’ing you after dinner @reddA Smile

helpfulperson · 09/01/2022 17:30

Do you have to do a tax return for these if you make over £1000 in a year? That would put me off.

reddA · 09/01/2022 17:35

no probs @AnotherOne4 :)

Wolf1970 · 09/01/2022 17:53

@helpfulperson

Yes, but it’s very easy.

helpfulperson · 09/01/2022 18:50

Thanks that's reassuring.

YonderTweek · 09/01/2022 19:13

Even I have managed to do my tax return and I'm terrible at doing forms. Grin It took me a while to do though, but once I got going it was fine. A lot of it didn't apply to what I'm doing and I have no other income etc so it was ok. The HMRC guidance documents were surprisingly helpful too.

ArwenGrey · 10/01/2022 13:32

Just jumping in here as have been lurking. I am another one that struggles to get to grips with Appen so have been sticking with the surveys.
Started last week and just cashed out just over £6 on Prolific and £5 on AttaPoll. Prolific seems to pay more per survey but are few and far between. Atta pays less but has a constant stream.

I'm inviting you to join AttaPoll. Get paid to take surveys. Download the app here: attapoll.app/join/rjuzl - referral to Atta, I get 20p and you get 40p (I think is the gist of it!)

ruralwanderer · 10/01/2022 14:34

@ArwenGrey, with Prolific, it's worth checking your "About You" page regularly and updating any missing information as the less demographic information entered, the fewer surveys will be targeted at you. I try and check monthly as the questions seem to be updated fairly regularly and doing this, I tend to have at least 3 surveys a day.

rhij86 · 10/01/2022 15:18

@ruralwanderer thanks for the reminder, I've just gone and updated mine :)

rhij86 · 10/01/2022 15:19

for anyone who regularly peels spuds, did you register your interest for the 'additional task' they messaged about last week, and if so have you heard anything back yet?

Redcrayons · 10/01/2022 17:21

I didn’t this time, but I have every other time and never heard anything.

furryous · 10/01/2022 17:40

@rhij86 I missed the message when it went out and only saw it after the deadline. Have you been picked??

rhij86 · 10/01/2022 18:05

@Redcrayons I've never heard anything back before, but have this time. Only difference is I've now been with them over a year.

@furryous I was messaged on Fri to give more detail and ask if I was still interested (yes please) and they said they'd be in touch soon, but nothing more since (I know it's only been one working day but I'm impatient haha)
