It's my first time starting one of these threads so I hope the links all work!

Welcome back to those who have joined in before and hello to any newbies that want to jump on board - if you have any questions fire away and someone will hopefully be able to help!

For those on Appen, look out for Cr on your project list. Part 1 just took 5 minutes, part 2 tomorrow should be similar, and it pays over $14.

@Gatekeeper me too! I really enjoyed that hour a day. Gutted

RightsHoardingRaptor · 06/01/2022 16:05

@ruralwanderer yes I did mine yesterday and am going to complete part two tomorrow. Hope it's just as speedy.

Gatekeeper · 06/01/2022 16:30

@RightsHoardingRaptor makes me feel a bit better knowing it wasn't just me or something I had/hadn't done!

Bbub · 06/01/2022 17:56

Hi is anyone using the Appen app? I've been accepted to project M* which says is to be completed on the app. It's under "my projects" on the app but I can't seem to actually do the task..?

Wolf1970 · 06/01/2022 18:49

@Bbub I’m not on that project, but generally you have to wait for them to contact you with login details. This can take a while. You might want to look on the chat for that project or the project page for more information. If not raise a ticket.

Bbub · 06/01/2022 19:44

@Wolf1970
Thanks a lot that's really helpful 😊

CherryBlossom100 · 06/01/2022 21:14

Any tips for those that have done the www audio quiz? I just scored 50%. So demoralising. My spelling and grammar are usually fine so guessing I'm not doing it quite the way they want. I read the guide they sent and followed it as closely as I could.

JerkintheMerkin · 06/01/2022 21:26

@CherryBlossom100 you and me both. Am gutted. I thought I was follower guidelines as well but obviously not Confused

I did this beginning of Dec and still no payment :( Lots in a similar boat
8dpwoah · 06/01/2022 22:48

I'll have a look back at the WWW tests I did to jog my memory tomorrow as can't remember what each bit was like (it was a nerve wracking blur!) But one thing that stood out to me during the assessment process was the need to research people and company names, products etc. I have to do it quite a bit on jobs with them, I've done a fair few Australian files and so now have far better knowledge of Aussie geography than I had before after guessing place names to Google them for the proper spelling! So it might be something along those lines, not necessarily SPaG.

anxiouswaiting · 07/01/2022 16:54

Is anyone still on the Riv project? I have been invited to qualify, but the last thing I qualified for I got an e-mail a few days alter saying no work. Im getting a bit fed up with how often that is happening now.

MoreMoneyPlease · 07/01/2022 17:45

The last few months haven't been great for me money wise. Appen has been a complete washout and I've just had dribs and drabs from Prolific etc. 2022 needs to be a lot better!

LostLlamaSociety · 07/01/2022 18:26

£10 a day? I'll be lucky to make £10 a week at the moment :D

So far this year I've cashed out £5.50 from Prolific and £4.35 from Branded Surveys.

(Referral Link for Branded Surveys:
surveys.gobranded.com/users/register/817a6e1656413e814d2d76761
I receive about 35p should you join using my link or you can google Branded Surveys)

MoneyMummy2022 · 07/01/2022 20:12

So I think I started around the 27th of December ish and thought I'd update!

I have made £4.35 on branded surveys
£5 voucher for joining a free cashback site suggested on December thread.
£20 winnings for a 20cogs offer
I have made £45 paypal on SB (I boosted this by signing up through moneysaving expert, if you earn £10 of points they give you £20 worth roughly of SB)
I am waiting for all my cogs to turn green on 20 cogs and should get payment of around £135 which is around 90ish profit! That should be a good day.

I don't understand Appen in the slightest! So i'll spend the next few days trying to get to grips with that!

AnotherOne4 · 07/01/2022 20:56

@LostLlamaSociety and @MoneyMummy2022 How are you finding Branded Surveys? I had a bad experience with them.

IglesiasPiggl · 07/01/2022 21:02

Placemarking

LostLlamaSociety · 07/01/2022 21:24

@AnotherOne4 - Branded Surveys are my current favourite, they have lots of surveys availabile and the low cashout makes it easy to reach the payment threshold. I get bored when I have to wait until £40.

unluckyinlife · 07/01/2022 21:25

@AnotherOne4 I find them OK for now. I've only 'paid out' twice on there so far. Both times for just over £4.30.

I found that I got a lot of higher paying surveys at the beginning and then had a few days of no surveys available last week. But no problems as of yet. Do you mind me asking what happened when you used them previously? x

JerkintheMerkin · 08/01/2022 09:27

I've been doing branded surveys, get halfway through then they tell me I'm not suitable for the survey. Confused. Shall I just give up?

AnotherOne4 · 08/01/2022 10:05

Re: Branded Surveys - keep an eye on your are getting the 'points' they state you will get. I was happily doing survey after survey for days, before I realised I wasn't being awarded the points. When I emailed to query it, they banned me with no explanation.

justalittlebitextra · 08/01/2022 10:34

Branded Surveys is my least favourite survey site that I actually still bother with, but only when I have nothing better on. I find they are very, very low paying, the time estimates on the dashboard page are wildly inaccurate and you really need to keep a close eye on whether your survey points have been added or not.

AnotherOne4 · 08/01/2022 10:54

@ruralwanderer

Top cashback is amazing!! Definitely use it, I've saved over £500 using it over the last 10 years, mainly on insurance products.
Just ordered my first purchase through Top Cashback and got 77p Grin
fedup078 · 08/01/2022 12:11

Just withdrew £10 which I built up using free bets on Sky Vegas
Took a few months to build up but it was a bit of fun for no cost if nothing else
