MLM Bot Watch 69 - the gift that keeps on giving all year round!

BSintolerant · 25/12/2021 18:39

Welcome to place where we dive into the murky depths of Multilevel Marketing (MLM), Network Marketing, Direct Sales, Social Selling (or whatever you want to call those dodgy product-based pyramid schemes) and dredge up the dirty lies bots tell to rope in their victims. (Clue: MLM is never “... an amaaaaaaayyyyyzzzing opportunity that I think you’d be great at, hun!”)

This is where we discuss certain fibbing hun bots who pretend to be entrepreneurs (they’re not, they’re just playing shop) who brag on social media about unlimited wealth, multiple six figure salaries, residual income, willable businesses, or just making a couple of hundred quid in those nooks and crannies of time. The truth is that most people who get roped into these schemes on the back of false promises lose money and often get into debt.

We’re onto bots who are held up by their particular MLM as running outstandingly successful businesses even though they’re bankrupt or are directors of insolvent companies. We know about bots who bought their position high up the pyramid, and those who con people with mindset coaching programmes. We also keep an eye on the plain old Billy Bullshitters who claim to be making six figures and describe themselves as “debt free” even though their accounts on Companies House show a very different story.

Will 2022 be the year of reckoning for MLMs and fibbing bots? Let’s hope so. Grin

Castle got 416k bonus in that photo

Tupperwarelid · 14/01/2022 18:11

Surely people must wonder why there is a 5 year old photo on the page and not a more up to date one?

Spongebobette · 14/01/2022 19:36

The photo at the top of Yawn’s website is her holding her CB cheque in 2016 - over 100k

She has never achieved that amount in subsequent years; she peaked 6 years ago

YouokHun · 14/01/2022 19:45

Talking of the heady days of c.2016, now very much in the past, I follow one FLP bot whose Companies House records shows a distinctly downward trend since 2016. I’ve just had a look after not searching her in a while and I notice she has changed the company name from “Mr & Mrs Bot Ltd” to “Non-identifying Name Consulting Ltd” and moved her registered office from her home address to an accountant in a Spa town in Warwickshire. To my admittedly untrained accountancy eye, this looks like she doesn’t want any searches to pop up her limited company records next to her shiny social media announcements of how wonderful FLP is and how it’s changed her life and finances for the better, in case someone who wouldn’t think of looking at companies house spots a contradiction on the first Google page. Of course you can still find her at CH but I think it does distance her shiny Bot persona from the sad reality. No doubt the Spa town accountants can work their usual special magic and manoeuvre round the HMRC. There could be many reasons for the change I guess but it’s not because things are going well for her despite what she’s telling her victims.

Spongebobette · 14/01/2022 19:47

Which one is this?

VolcanicEruption · 14/01/2022 19:54

See Yawns new victim works in pest control 😂.
The C9 malarkey gives me deja vu vibes.

YouokHun · 14/01/2022 20:00

First name: Queen of all our hearts, second name: the bits of paper between the covers of a book.

We’ve discussed her before. A friend of hers who ran a parenting site and publication got very snarky and litigious with a few of us a few years back when we called her and the publication out for stealth recruiting in/on a family based magazine/website which had lots of potential new parent victims available. The litigious owner of the site was her mate. Started using faux-legal speak and threatening me with her husband who was some sort of lawyer and evidently liked to pursue anyone who upset his wife through the Courts for…I don’t know…defamation I think. I can’t think how drawing attention to the quiet presence of FLP on a parenting website could possibly be defamatory but still Grin

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/01/2022 20:17

Oh, the Irony!

In her latest post, PhD starts off with "You know I'm always as transparent as I can be about money"...

As @PolkaDot456 points out, she seems very keen to distance herself from her previous persona as an FLP boss babe, even going so far as to change her name to disassociate herself from her limited company at the time.

A quick look at the company's history shows that (apart from really quite unremarkable accounts belying the "multiple six-figure income" she brags about), in its existence from 2015 to 2020, it only filed accounts twice before being compulsorily struck off (presumably for failing to file accounts).

Transparent my arse, she's a cheap grifter living on inherited wealth.

The 'wisdom' she dispenses on being successful in business is a hilarious mix of Weird Willy (stepping into a pile of her own power) and batshit loopy (asking the Universe to deliver a very specific amount of money each month)...

Honestly, if anyone reads that shit and is still willing to part with real money for such pearls of wisdom, they pretty much deserve to be ripped off (although I believe that the vast majority, if not all of the women in her 'programmes' are not just 'incredible' but actually imaginary).

YouokHun · 14/01/2022 20:26

@Twentytwentyhindsight Grin “stepping in a pile of her own power”. Grin It is incredible that these people believe themselves to be in any way credible. PhD is a joke and needs to get a proper job.

Waveafterwaveslowlydrifting · 14/01/2022 20:54

Would you employ PhD? Imagine 😳

Twentytwentyhindsight · 14/01/2022 20:55

@YouokHun When it's Weird Willie talking about 'standing in his power', I always think of it a a puddle for some reason...

It’s easy to see straight through something that doesn’t exist.

@YouokHun very interesting how this bot is trying to hide from Google by changing her company’s name. Shall we refer to her as Paperbot? There’s nowhere to hide from us - we’re onto you. Grin

Bots who don’t want people to know how their companies are doing strike them off the companies register and go down the sole trader route. If an individual is bankrupt we can find out by searching the Individual Insolvency Register. That’s how Homeschool’s lies cams to light. There she was, boasting on social media about how her team was smashing it when she was in fact bankrupt and had declared her self as “unemployed” and “not currently working.”

BSintolerant · 14/01/2022 21:44

@PolkaDot456 Good point about the use of bots’ names, although if we did that these threads would be pulled. I think in the earlier threads we were using bots’ initials. Certain bots didn’t like this at all and sent private messages to some posters and threatening mumsnet with legal action. MN don’t want to be dealing with legal action, even if the bots’ threats are all wind and no piss.

Like you say, if we’re telling the truth about their scams (which is a defence to defamation) and bots are professing to be public figures, who are earning six figures and living the dream, then surely they’re big enough and ugly enough to deal with the consequences of being discussed and scrutinised by the public?

Yes, at that particular time she was earning £17k a month apparently.

Although she's one of the very few who has made money out of it, I can't imagine she has many real friends tbh.

I know who you mean.

I am trying to think of a legitimate reason for changing company name in thus situationc. Nope, can't think of one.

Thing is, you can search for Officers so I don't think it will be the solution! The only way to hide really will be to go sole trader.

Bit of an eye opener re the litigiousness - this bot has always struck me as having a core of steel but heavily draped in nicely nicey.

definitelynotabot · 14/01/2022 22:02

Do we know any more about the Chairman's Bonus (non) qualifiers yet?

Spongebobette · 15/01/2022 08:57

Not yet

I , for one, eagerly await to see how FL will massage the bonuses to make sure there are some impressive figures on some top bots’ cheques - very important this happens for marketing to new recruits
If last year is anything to go by, top bots who are not right at the top will lose out

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 15/01/2022 09:13

Yawn was up at 5am on a Saturday (despite not working weekends of course!) for some event with the Bloodsucker at HQ that is being filmed.

If a non-MLM person did that they would be paid and probably put up in a hotel the night before too. Yawn of course will not be paid, FL wouldn't pay for a hotel (and she can't afford to pay her own way) so would have driven there in the freezing fog at stupid o'clock this morning.

The icing on the cake will be if the event takes part in the FL tent 🤣

Living the dream, eh Yawn 😆

VolcanicEruption · 15/01/2022 09:48

And Yawn will have a much earlier start to put all the slap on. Good job she is off alcohol 🍷 then.
I also remember the other aforementioned bot as I had a post deleted once.

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 15/01/2022 10:16

Bloodsucker is in 'the FL studio'. Pic of her on a TV set with lights rig etc. Doesn't look like it's in the tent (sadly) 😄

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 15/01/2022 11:32

13 years of scamming "working her business" and Uber is waking up this morning in her newly renovated holiday home in Devon.

12 years of scamming and Yawn gets to wake up in her mouldy thatch at 5am and drive to HQ to give up her Saturday and give more of her time for nothing. (...but she can post links to holiday homes in sunny Spain that she likes so that's OK Wink )

I think Yawn's still got a fair way to go scaling that pyramid. Shame the sides are so slippery.

thetemptationofchocolate · 15/01/2022 11:44

Uber is not only a scammy bot, she's part of the housing problem too.

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 15/01/2022 12:06

Am I right in thinking that Bloodsucker is the only UK bot who's actually been truly successful in FL with no debts? Obviously she has screwed over all the Africans but doesn't seem to give a shit about that.

terrywynne · 15/01/2022 13:01

The event is QLS Kickstarter which iirc is Bloodsuckers annual training event for her team (as a top bot I guess FL let her use HQ but it has been at other venues previously). I seem to remember people in the know saying that it is a money spinner foe Bloodsucker (since the money isn't made from product sales)
