@curdsandwhey I don't here anything from Neevo anymore Sad It used to be one of my favourites. I actually just logged in, to see if I was missing anything, and there is nothing.
Nothing new ever appears in my Work Available, only in emails from them.
I got a couple of offers this weekend but nothing for ages before that.
I even signed up with a different email but it's had no offers at all.

AnotherOne4 · 20/12/2021 17:22

It's a shame @TiddlesTheTiger I used to like Neevo. Used to be easy Grin

didireallyjustsaythat · 20/12/2021 17:42

Anyone else just get an email about the end of project Am**. It's a shame it's over but I hope they one they transfer us to is just as good.

Buster27 · 20/12/2021 18:57

@didireallyjustsaythat Yeah I got it. I saw someone say on the chat that they worked on eComm and group 2 and saw no difference between them. I worked on shops for about 10 rounds before group 2 and it was a bit different but still good. So should be ok as long as we get moved across.

Prolific is on fire today! First day in ages that I've broken the £10 barrier - £4.70 on Prolific in less than half an hour this afternoon and £4.95 on Crisp in half an hour over lunch Grin Also managed the two lower paid Appen surveys this morning whilst eating breakfast!

YonderTweek · 22/12/2021 08:45

I worked eComm and Group 2 and they were exactly the same. Smile I hope they keep me on A**r and let me do many more rounds because I love it. Haha.

It's been so busy with Fancy Hat and SC it's untrue. I have other projects to do and I haven't even started and I doubt I have the time to do it all, which is a shame. Usually it's really busy for a few weeks and then all quiet again but now it's been really full on since September. I'm really not complaining but I am looking forward to a few days off over Christmas. I have filled in a couple of unavailability forms which is something I have never done. I hope I won't get kicked out for being unavailable. Grin

Redcrayons · 22/12/2021 11:03

Heads up to the potato peelers, it’s gone wild!

TheLolaMontez · 22/12/2021 13:28

Wtf happened to potato? Must have been a glitch? Not complaining though Grin

AnotherOne4 · 22/12/2021 17:02

@YonderTweek would have been nice to get the extra hours notification earlier on SC. I'll struggle to get 40 done this week. Have you been audited? I've had a few done, but get no response back Sad

ruralwanderer · 22/12/2021 17:18

Potato was awesome earlier, managed 1.5 hours before needing a break with no interruption in content!

8dpwoah · 22/12/2021 18:59

I think I might be having a very short career on Y*, I've just had first feedback and it hasn't gone very well but annoyingly I've already seen where my ratings for something are closer to reality (knowledge from a previous job) but been penalised because the raters have misinterpreted it/not got the specific subject knowledge. I've raised a ticket to pass it on so I expect the boot will be coming my way before too long 😂

YonderTweek · 22/12/2021 23:31

Yeah, I'll be struggling to get 10 hours this week due to illness/personal life hassle and Christmas. But I'm hoping there will be data left next week and they offer extra hours again. I don't think I have been audited but not sure how you check it. I do have a couple of disagreements on the left hand side when I log in but they have been there forever and are probably from the quizzes we had to do ages ago. I have A LOT more on Fancy Hat and no one's kicked me out yet, so I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing. Grin

Catatemyhomework · 23/12/2021 00:19

@8dpwoah, don't worry too much about Y. Have you been on the chat? They are really nice on there. I struggle a little too because I am so slow and it takes me longer than the specified time. My reviews have been surprisingly ok which I'm amazed about as sometimes I feel I have no idea! Grin

AnotherOne4 · 23/12/2021 06:45

@YonderTweek they have already offered extra hours next week (I think it was mentioned in the same email)
If you want to check if you've been audited, go to my accuracy in SRT and filter the dates/times. My accuracy is quite low Sad which tbh I'm surprised by, as I'm getting all the quizzes correct. I think they just find the ones you've got wrong and mark those.

YonderTweek · 23/12/2021 07:56

@AnotherOne4 Ahh, I didn't see it in the email. I'm clearly paying attention here... I just checked mine and I've not been audited, but I'm sure I'll have a low one too if/when I do get audited. Fancy Hat is similar to SC and they have constant issues of people worrying about their accuracy as we're getting rather high numbers of "errors not acknowledged", and we're always told not to worry about those. I have a feeling they will kick me out soon though even though I have tried my best.

SC is really weird because I never know how I'm doing. I have done ok with the quizzes etc but wouldn't be surprised if they kicked me out from there too. Hmm

AnotherOne4 · 23/12/2021 08:04

@YonderTweek I'm waiting to be kicked out too lol. I know I did loads wrong in the beginning. Tbf though, they keep changing the guidelines and people interpret things differently, so it's no surprise we're all over the place.

CherryBlossom100 · 23/12/2021 12:47

I hope you don't mind me joining.
I'm a single parent in a bit of debt. My outgoings are as low as they can be and already work full time so earning from home in the evenings is really my only option to increase my money coming in. An extra £100 a month would be so helpful.
I've read through the last 7 pages and joined a*n.
Any suggestions would be great. I havent completed any tasks yet. Thanks for any help you guys can offer to get me started.

karmakemmie · 23/12/2021 13:18

Hello,
I have also joined up on some of the recommended sites and made a few pounds which is great. I'm very grateful for this thread. Thank you.

I have also applied for jobs on A*n and wondered how soon they contact you if you're successful.
Thanks again ☺️

karmakemmie · 23/12/2021 14:55

Another question, this time regarding clickworker, how do I find out my tax number? Does it refer to the country I work in? Sorry to be dense.

AnotherOne4 · 23/12/2021 17:04

Welcome @CherryBlossom100 and @karmakemmie.
I feel I should offer some words of wisdom, but I don't really have any lol. I would say, keep reading these threads, and pipe in every now and then, don't be a stranger! (There is a really great bunch of people who pop in and post, and they've defo helped me out in the past)

Appen can be slow and painful at first. Just apply for everything and see what you get. The FB survey ones are a great place to start. It'll probably take a few months to get going and see what you like. Stick with it though, as it does pay off (eventually)

Great words of advice here :) Ap can pay off very well if you stick with it. There are some good projects if you can get yourself on them. Just apply for anything that looks appealing, the community chat pages are so helpful and crowd support carries everyone through :)
karmakemmie · 23/12/2021 17:38

Thanks for responding. This is a very supportive space ❤️

AnotherOne4 · 23/12/2021 17:43

@LoLo2020 I think it's a case of you get out what you put in. You've got to be willing to ask for help and keep badgering away at some things.

I'm on a job at the minute that is offering 40 hours a week, and I would say I can generally do it whilst keeping track of the tv Grin (not that I do that of course!)

Catatemyhomework · 23/12/2021 18:12

I'm going to wish everyone on here a very merry Christmas. I've sent my holiday request in to Appen for Y and I'm taking a few days break. Much needed! Hope everyone has a lovely break and that Santa brings you all something really nice! 🎅🎄🎁

CherryBlossom100 · 23/12/2021 18:13

Thanks lolo and AnotherOne. Yes will definitely keep on trying.
I've now joined an and cw. I have to do some tests for na so will do those once I've put my little one to bed. It all feels a little overwhelming at the moment but I will keep trying. I've got 5 pending jobs that I've applied to on a*n.

Thanks for any pro tips people can give!
