Couldn't see a December thread so thought I'd start one. Last chance to earn some extra pennies in 2021, hope it's a good month for everybody (for profit and festivities!) Smile

Links copied over from last thread. Welcome back to those who have joined in before and hello to any newbies that want to jump on board - if you have any questions fire away and someone will hopefully be able to help!

nothing for me either, oh well

Buster27 · 06/12/2021 23:04

Ooh I have products now (group 2), assume they must have loaded the different groups at different times.

Gatekeeper · 07/12/2021 06:37

I didn't have any products but low and behold I have just woken up to an email!

Redcrayons · 07/12/2021 07:55

Very surprised to get my email this morning. 7 products for me, the first one is a tool I’ll never use. Let’s hope the rest are more useful.

seventyminutes · 07/12/2021 08:13

Well I've just signed up to Appen after reading this! Currently been looking for some wfh on the side jobs.

whysotriggered · 07/12/2021 08:31

me too, lol

TheHumanFund · 07/12/2021 08:41

I woke up to the email too. First purchase is jewelry 😄

YonderTweek · 07/12/2021 10:08

I got an email from Group 2 too. Yay. First purchase is a very fancy men's jumper. Christmas present material. Grin

Buster27 · 07/12/2021 10:43

Feeling a bit cheated that my first item is multivitamins now Grin

Am** purchases done. Not a bad month. 2 rather nice jewellery items, a gaming headset, a cardigan, a pair of boots and a child's sleeping bag. Mostly UK sellers this month. Smile

Not a great selection, nothing I really wanted or can pass off as Xmas gifts but not awful, all UK apart from one US seller.

Gatekeeper · 07/12/2021 13:28

A good selection for once. Fab and expensive socks, gaming headset, leather trainers, musical instrument, chocolates, and a magnifying craft lamp thingy that I was going to buy for myself after Xmas

Keepgoing88 · 07/12/2021 14:53

Hi,

I have just joined Appen and been accepted (I think?!) on a few projects - where the status says 'work this'. When I have tried to click on this link all I get is an error message saying 'Permission denied to access this page'. Does anyone know why this is?

Thanks
:)

bookgirl1982 · 07/12/2021 15:08

A reasonable Am** round for me, one skip, three cheapy items, a jumper, a duvet and a tool bag. The last two being free choice from over limit ads.

dancingdolphinsagain · 07/12/2021 15:37

Very pleased with my am* round this time.
HC velvetiser
2 lots of underwear from uk sellers that I like
A weird blender thing
A drinks smoker
A game that I wanted for my nephew for Xmas
Face masks- the beauty kind

AdaShelby · 07/12/2021 15:49

I had a good Am?? too.

Lovely make up (CT) Large uk high street chemist, high street shop with good returns policy, Amazon and then the HC velvetiser Smile lots of presents sorted.

Hope you all did well too

Redcrayons · 07/12/2021 15:50

Sounds like some good stuff in Amur. Hope that doesn’t mean all the tat is left for me.

Buster27 · 07/12/2021 16:33

Finally got a chance to do my am** today, was only a few £ below the overall limit to end up with!

Happy enough with my round, other than a dressing table which would have been good but it seems to be one of those crappy sites pretending to be UK based but actually in China, so I assume it either won't arrive, will arrive and be terrible quality/nothing like pic or something else entirely will arrive. Could be funny seeing what turns up (if anything does) at least!

My legitimate purchases were multivitamins, car dash cam, mobile phone power bank, women's tshirt/short set, fancy men's jumper and lastly got a pair of boots that I love so thankfully just sneaked them in under the limit!

MarigoldMoonStone · 07/12/2021 17:46

@Buster27 last time I had one like that instead of a dressing table I got a crappy cheap necklace ?? But at least it meant I could claim a refund back through PayPal. I’ve got another one like it this round too, and would rather the refund than the item so fingers crossed haha

Buster27 · 07/12/2021 20:10

@MarigoldMoonStone Yes refund is probably the best outcome! The URL for mine was as if it was for some random astronaut decoration so I wonder if that's what will turn up haha.

Mrsmch123 · 07/12/2021 20:33

@Buster27 how long do you wait for the money to be refunded?

@Mrsmch123 Do you mean the reimbursement from Appen? It's paid with the invoice the following month (paid around the middle of the month, so will be mid Jan for these ones).
