My July earnings were a but stunted by my daily app project being down for the whole month Angry so I have potato, and Am' from app, plus a smaller project from them. All adds up I suppose, just not as much as I would have liked Sad hopefully August will be more fruitful!

Thank you for the new thread @TheLolaMontez Smile

lannister · 02/08/2021 09:02

Happy August :)

MrsWombat · 02/08/2021 09:14

Welcome to August everyone.

School holidays for me so I'll be trying to list some more things on Etsy and Amazon KDP and Merch. And I'll be trying to do a lot more Potato as it's all I've got at the moment. and praying they don't remove me for not making the minimum

July totals:
Appen - £325 (mostly SD)
Print on demand - £68 (mostly KDP, but also Merch, Redbubble, and Etsy)

YonderTweek · 02/08/2021 09:22

Thanks for the new thread! Smile Will be counting the pennies from July once the Ap invoices have been uploaded.

I'm crossing my fingers I'll be on A**r this month but I'm not getting my hopes up because I always end up getting annoyed if I don't get selected. Grin

Rad2016 · 02/08/2021 09:38

Thanks for the new thread. Fingers crossed this is a better month.

AnotherOne4 · 02/08/2021 09:38

Checking in Grin Thanks for the new thread. July wasn't so good for me, think I'm going through a dry spell.

superpinkgirl · 02/08/2021 09:48

Thanks for the new August thread, July was dire for me. Hoping things pick up this month. Grin

Catatemyhomework · 02/08/2021 09:52

Thanks for the new thread. July was ok for me as still had SD and Riv. Made about £1000) in total including a small amount from LB and AI Data Innovation. Will be terrible for August though as have no appen projects apart from Amr and surveys and can't do amr this month as going away.

Baby89 · 02/08/2021 10:10

.

Buster27 · 02/08/2021 10:15

£1250 for me this month, mostly from Appen but also some from Rev, Crisp and Prolific.

Haven't been able to access my long term App project for a month and my year will be up on it towards the end of the month so guess that's it done for me Sad Will miss having that consistent £10 a day!

Redcrayons · 02/08/2021 10:22

Shame-faced and slinking back in. Took a few days off as my rl job went crazy and barely got back to it, so less than £100 in July.

Going to get to grips with UHRS and Rev this month, currently too slow to make any decent amounts so fall back to potatoes and hoping to get back to the dodgy T-shirt websites after a couple of months off.

AdaShelby · 02/08/2021 10:30

I made £375 in July, mainly crisp with a bit of survey money from App.

whysotriggered · 02/08/2021 11:07

place marking, I think I made about 750 this month

AnotherOne4 · 02/08/2021 12:31

Wow, Prolific has changed alot, hasn't it. I've been on it all morning and not had a sauasage Sad Thought I'd look at my profile (as I was pretty sure it was up-to-date)....was I wrong! They've added so many questions now. They want to know everything from what I watch on Netflix to how many partners I've had lol Hmm

user1471504821 · 02/08/2021 15:24

I'm lucky if I make £3 a week on Prolific now. I definitely think it favours new users, and also possibly penalises you if you return too many.

AnotherOne4 · 02/08/2021 15:32

Yeah, there must be something going on. I've been logged in all morning/afternoon and not had a single thing Sad I actually have a fair bit of money sitting in my account, might just get it all out (incase something is up with them)
user1471504821 · 02/08/2021 16:03

I did initially worry about that but I see they're recruiting loads of new staff as they're expanding so don't worry!

AnotherOne4 · 02/08/2021 16:13

I cashed out on Prolific. It's sad that my balance is now displayed as £0.00 Sad
I really want to cash out on another site I'm on, but the currency is in dollars, and the exchange rate is so rubbish at the minute. I keep waiting for it to get better, but I'm not sure that's gonna happen.

Did anyone do the Ek**m job? I have mine on my invoice now.

TheLolaMontez · 02/08/2021 17:23

With prolific I always cash out as soon as I'm over the £5 minimum - I think at least in the bank it can sit earning the pitiful interest they currently offer Grin

OP posts:
TheLolaMontez · 02/08/2021 17:24

Also yes @AnotherOne4 - I did the Elk job too

OP posts:
AnotherOne4 · 02/08/2021 17:36

@TheLolaMontez could idea to cash out. I don't really know why I left it so long, I think I just liked seeing the value sitting there lol.

One thing Martin Lewis once said, that's always stuck with me it, if any of these sites suddenly disappear then your money goes with them.

TheLolaMontez · 02/08/2021 17:41

Absolutely @AnotherOne4 - I'd rather it be safe in my bank but I totally get what you mean about having a big balance, there's something very satisfying about it Grin

Snowballs1 · 02/08/2021 18:11

I hadn't been on potato for about a week but did some work last night, does anyone else find the words surrounded by blue offputting? I'm hoping it's not going to stay like that, wonder if it is meant to be helpful or has just happened by accident?

Redcrayons · 02/08/2021 18:53

Prolific look like they are opening up to product evaluation stuff, would you buy this product type of thing. I got one recently that reminded me of Pinecone, if anyone remembers that’s.

@Snowballs1 I did the same. I thought it was highlighting the questionable bits but it doesn’t seem like it is. I wasn’t sure if it has been mentioned on Slack as a new feature I wasn’t aware of.
