Hi all, happy May. Welcome to this months thread. I'll load up the link later. If anyone else wants to do it, feel free, I'm rubbish at it.

The idea of this thread is to earn a bit of extra cash, as the title suggest. Have a look and these threads go back a while and might give you some ideas.

Newbies welcome. We're a lovely, helpful lot.

Hi s*land is my first Malta project but I haven’t received my SRT login. Should it be emailed to me or is it somewhere else? I have raised a ticket but just thought I’d check where I’m supposed to be looking.

Wow some amazing totals on here for last month!
I made about £300 on Ap**n and £80 on potato - would like to ramp it up a bit this month!

I'm confused by the skip thing and whether they count as ratings. Mine are like 90% skips so if they are not counted I wouldn't be able to invoice for much at all. This project is so confusing!

Gosh, this SRT project has taken me the whole day to access. I think I am finally in. Woo hoo! Thank you all for your help! I do not seem to have the exit and dump button that is mentioned in the guidelines. Has anyone else found this? Also done no work on Ats either as had to try and get to grips with SRT for Sut*nd and still doing the LB maps exam. I am on question 30 for that! I have been on it since 8am and am knackered. Will have to have a glass of wine as I'm wired!

Is anyone doing the utest academy? I’m on the find 20 of 25 bugs part, found 22 and now need to go to the report stage. The first test report shows a broken product image but it’s not broken for me, it’s working perfectly? Am I missing something?

Has anyone tried freelancing on fiverr.com? I've heard good things from my Husband

£1325 for me last month, mainly Appen again but things dried up towards the end of the month, although I would have been too busy at the day job to fit much in anyway so it worked out okay. Going to be another busy few weeks at work so not sure how much time I'll be able to put in this month, hoping some projects will come through that can fit around my work hours though.

Still got a few months of my long term project (hopefully) so it keeps things ticking over. I curse doing it but will miss it when it's gone

Not very much at all this month...will be lucky if I scrape £80. I've got 40 projects lined on Appen but none of them actually come to fruition.

May's goal is to complete Og* on App 7 days a week. I hate it but it's easy money

@viixie I have but it depends what you're offering. I was getting undercut but people doing the job for less than £5/hr. I have friends on it who do well with graphic design stuff.

Like @Gatekeeper I have a pile of projects on Ap but none really doing anything. I got the link to the At@@s road test but it doesn't work.

@Catatemyhomework Can I ask how you managed to solve your log in problem with SRT? I am having the same problem, I've tried an incognito browser but keep getting that he activation codes are invalid.

@MooseInTheHouse, it was trial and error really and very frustrating. Someone on chat said not to copy and paste the activation code but to click on the link below. That took me to FB log in. Had to change FB password. Basically took me to a screen where it was using my FB login. I think I used one of the logins from the training material as well. Honestly though it was trial and error and I can't remember exactly what I did.

I scraped through on potato at 11.50pm! Really hard going last month. I've signed up for App so will see what happens with that.

@MooseInTheHouse Is your activation code still in the spam inbox? Apparently you have to mark it safe and then you are able to click on it when it's moved to your primary inbox. That's what happened to mine. I also had to faff around an awful lot with Facebook logins and all sorts, and I still need to use the incognito mode. They're not making it very easy...

This thread has really sparked my interest. I am currently on mat leave (nhs) and will soon be hitting the 9 month point (unpaid leave). Can I earn on top of my mat pay? Do I need to declare it somewhere? Also which website is best to start out? Sorry so many questions but any help greatly appreciated ☺️

Welcome to the thread @viixie You will need to register as self employed if you earn over a certain amount.

It’s hard to recommend sites, as everyone likes different things. Prolific and Qmee are good ones to start out with. Would highly recommend you read a through some threads from previous months, as you can learn and become familiar with the jargon.

Has anyone had a problem with qmee the last few days? I have not had any surveys and it wont let me cash out which I have never had a problem with before?

Can't believe it's already May. Hoping for another great month, made about £800 in April mainly from Appen & Matched betting

Those of you using Rev, how does it work please? Is there a minimum number of hours? Do you need additional software? How do they pay/how often? Thanks in advance:)

Crisp is terrible at the moment. I've never seen so many people complaining on here and over there.
