Hi all, happy May. Welcome to this months thread. I'll load up the link later. If anyone else wants to do it, feel free, I'm rubbish at it.

The idea of this thread is to earn a bit of extra cash, as the title suggest. Have a look and these threads go back a while and might give you some ideas.

Newbies welcome. We're a lovely, helpful lot.

Regarding the metrics/invoicing. People in chat say you shouldn't invoice more then the metrics say, as you could risk your invoice getting rejected. But then again, they also say that the metrics are always wrong
I'm not sure what I would do. Maybe someone else will come along and offer some advice.

@AnotherOne4 Well yes I read that it could be rejected and the metrics aren't accurate so I'm going to change it and put less hrs because I actually did lose track here and there, I'm sure it would be corrected at their end if I have put less hrs in.

I wonder how many people are on the project though and how they check the invoices. There must be thousands of people working it.

I will be in total shock if we all get paid on time, and no hassle.

@AnotherOne4 I don't know, lol but I'll be as accurate as I can on the next lot.

And who knows, my times could actually be correct now.

I don't think I'm going to meet the target for potato this month. Just scraped it last month. I'm reluctant to give it up because I was on the waiting list for a year. But there's just no content, it's so disheartening!

Hi all, what I've been doing is cross checking hours I work against metrics e.g. I write down total worked time since I started at the beginning of a shift I then record my hours mins for that shift and cross check against metrics at end. Usually works out spot on

That's weird, mine was paid out on 13/05 . I'd contact their finance dept 👍

@Catawaul I'm no where near, and I don't think I'll get there tbh. It's just so quiet! I don't see how they can kick people off for content that isn't there

I did phase one of the writing on a tablet thing on App. It was ok, not heard about phase 2 yet

I'm not on potato so don't know.....what happens if you don't meet the minimum? Do you not get paid for the work you've done?

Well that sucks and doesn't seem very fair.

I feel potato should be more lenient with the minimum at the moment, it seemed fair before but it's such a slog these days

Hello! I've name changed to join this thread-i'm a regular user but feared this may be outing...

As my new name suggests I'm in the process of being shoved out of my job. Currently on long term sick leave getting SSP but that's not going to pay the bills so I'm keen to now be proactive rather than wallow.

I'm a total newbie to this and keen to get started - but where/how? Any advice?!
