Hi all, happy May. Welcome to this months thread. I'll load up the link later. If anyone else wants to do it, feel free, I'm rubbish at it.

The idea of this thread is to earn a bit of extra cash, as the title suggest. Have a look and these threads go back a while and might give you some ideas.

Newbies welcome. We're a lovely, helpful lot.

@Frenchdoors1 I miss it. I'm still logged in and waiting for it to start again.

I have nothing else to work on.

@AnotherOne4 I am missing it too, feels so sad tonight, been on and off it for 9 days and I have got used to doing it now lol.

I always like to have something to work on too but i don't.

I can only echo what you're all saying, I miss it! :( Maybe they'll send out a comms as it's only midday state side.

I just looked at my notes. I didn't work last Friday either, or the wkd. It came back to life again on Tuesday. Maybe it'll do the same again....
Hoping @LoLo2020 is right and they communicate with us.

I'm so sad, I've eaten a whole bag of strawberry bon bons All week I've been glued to the laptop, now I'm just stuffing my face with nothing to do

Aaaannnnddd that's me completely out of projects again. I hope something new comes up soon. I did a new K**x quiz recently so maybe more work will drop on that. It's been my best earner and I want more!

I'm actually considering doing some transcription as I am on Rev too, but I always struggle with it. I obviously understand English but when I have to transcribe things perfectly I start second guessing myself and get all wound up. Bad quality audios don't help either. However, if I find a decent clip to work on, it's actually quite enjoyable so I could give it another go...

@YonderTweek It's horrible having to scrape around for bits and pieces to work on isn't it. Hopefully we'll all wake up to an email notification tomorrow.

Yeah, it's only 1:30pm there. I hope they let us know one way or the other.

No, they should auto invoice. I work to this timeline: Monday - Previous weeks hours are uploaded Tuesday - Hours generated in Appen Connect Wednesday - Thursday - Raise issues

@Norked Oh, just re-read you question. Yes you need to submit the invoice at the end/beginning of the month. But in terms of ADDING them to the invoice, they should automatically appear.

Just been doing the 'rounds' looking for something to work on. Whilst I was doing that, I was messing about with metrics on SD.

My invoiced time (from my own records/calculations) and the total review time on user metrics is a difference of 29 minutes. (Metrics shown 29 minutes more then I make it) Don't really know why I'm mentioning it, but I'm pleased. Shows I'm sorta on track.

Ah well, I'll just have to wait and see.
