@rhij86 I have a primary school son and a toddler. I feel your pain! My toddler is wild and has clearly decided sleep is for wimps.

mummyof4kids · 01/04/2021 10:49

Thank you I'm a long time lurker on these threads.
I've just done a clickworker job that earned me €15.00 so about £12 in our money.
Will look at the other links too, thank you

Catatemyhomework · 01/04/2021 10:53

Thanks for the new thread @seizethecuttlefish. Haven't tallied up March's totals yet but somewhere in the region of £200 I think. Not my best month but I've definitely had worse. Mainly Appen, primarily B@ne for my earnings.
Going to really crack on this month and try and get more work. Will give LB a try although may not pass the exam.
I feel all your pain with small children and babies. Not sure they get any easier. My oldest is 17 and spent last night doing virtual parents evening for A levels and helping her with part time job applications. They're still demanding but in different ways! Grin

TheLolaMontez · 01/04/2021 11:16

Checking in! Not sure if I peeled enough potatoes but I don't think I was far off in the end.
Want to try to make a good start this month.
I've started doing low risk casino here and there which is earning me a few quid. Not feeling confident with roulette yet though, need to read up more on that one. Mostly doing slots and freebies.

Going to peel potato's later when the youngest is napping.
Got prolific on. Would like something a bit different to get my teeth into but I'll keep ploughing on.

lannister · 01/04/2021 11:19

Loving the title, checking in for another money making month. Am yet to submit my appen invoice today but March was really good thanks to that weirdly long B*ne day Smile

Buster27 · 01/04/2021 11:34

This is insane.. but I've made £2300 for March! I had a lot of annual leave to use before April so I was off work for most of March, so I really hammered poll* thinking it wouldn't last long but then it lasted most of the month. So I'm very sad that Poll is finished and that I'll have to return to the day job Grin

I've got another transcription project just now so hoping it won't finish too quickly. Also got my long term daily project and potato to plug away at.

ruralwanderer · 01/04/2021 11:47

Thanks @seizethecuttlefish for the new thread Star

Wow @Buster27, that's a phenomenal total! Well done :D

dirtyfries · 01/04/2021 11:57

Thanks for the new thread. My total was sound £600 for March across mainly appen, crisp and prolific.
I have an hour a day project Og*n but find it sooo boring.

Really need to keep pushing for the next few months as my baby is due in August and we could do with all the help we could get for maternity leave.

seizethecuttlefish · 01/04/2021 13:17

@Buster27 I'm in awe! Well done everyone.

It's been a decent month here. I think I'm about £800. Happy with it, though I think my Ap hour a day project finishes this month.

OP posts:
MrsWombat · 01/04/2021 13:52

I made £300 last month, and also had a really old freelance invoice paid (delayed because of Covid and me being a soft touch) so I'm really happy.

£50 Crisp
£137 uTest
and the rest from selling mothers day themed books on Amazon KDP (44 sales), and a couple of t-shirt sales on Merch by Amazon.

My bookkeeping stuff is pretty much up to date too for the end of tax year.

Here's to April! Flowers Good luck everyone!

Redcrayons · 01/04/2021 13:59

Wow @Buster27, that’s incredible.

Think I just scraped £200, mostly potatoes. I wait cash out Prolific at £20 so I had that this month and a few mystery shops. One posted a £13 job yesterday lunchtime, so that was a nice quick win. It started at £5 which isn’t worth the time it takes it definitely worth it at £13.

And with my N** FB surveys on App in March, it should tip me over the $50 cash out limit on payoneer so that’s a nice start to April.

Zancah · 01/04/2021 14:18

Checking in! Thanks for the new thread.

March was pitiful really (£50ish) but it was my first month of doing it and I've had the kids at home for a good chunk of it.
I'm hoping these next couple of months before summer I can really find my feet with it, I'm still really only dabbling at the moment.
But hey, an extra 50 quid is better than a poke in the eye Grin
To be honest, even though I've not earned much - it's taken away the boredom of lockdown and stopped me from browsing/shopping so I've saved a bit of money on top too. I'm in better financial shape because of that.

Rad2016 · 01/04/2021 14:22

Thanks for new Thread guys. Not much happening for me this days, I managed 260 on Appen, about 18 on prolific. I got accpted on a project with liongridge so keeping my fingers crossed on that

redwineandonionrings · 01/04/2021 14:46

What are the potatoes you're talking about? I've just started looking through these threads as we need to save some money. I've signed up for Prolific.

MrsWombat · 01/04/2021 15:24

Does anyone on uTest have an iphone 8 or newer and get lots of work? Things have gone really quiet for me and I'm wondering if my iPhone 7+ is now too elderly. I'm considering abandoning my Dave Ramsey principles and getting a refurbished 8+ or XR from eBay on 0% finance.

MrsWombat · 01/04/2021 15:31

Potato = Crisp Thinking. They are happy for us to talk about the factually and neutrally. But the potato puns are funny!

tinyradish · 01/04/2021 15:43

Hello April thread. Made around £370 this month via Ap & Prolific.

Another toddler mum here. I just always think of how much money I COULD make if small people didn't make it near impossible. Also despair at all the time I wasted pre-kids. Could've been rich. Grin

swiftt · 01/04/2021 16:23

I’m new, but been lurking and browsing the March thread. Currently WFH with not much to do til my leave starts in a couple of weeks, so hoping to earn a few pennies before baby arrives in June.

I’m finishing my WWW application tonight. Have applied for quite a few projects on Appn. Been surfing QME today and had about £4 back from that, plus a €15 CW job so that felt like a nice kickstart.

Really want to get into transcription work. My WPM speed is something ridiculous like 105 last time I checked, and I could probably get it up a bit through practice as I don’t type much anymore. Have applied for Rv too, and been accepted to QAWrld but finding the job availability on the latter is so poor at the moment.

Will be watching out for any tips and tricks, let’s hope April is lucrative. Smile

MoreMoneyPlease · 01/04/2021 16:50

Thanks for the new thread @seizethecuttlefish

@Buster27 That is incredible! You have got to win the prize for the highest amount any of us has made for a month, surely??! Was that based on £10 an hour or a better rate?

I made the usual £500 in March, mainly on Ap'n, Intellizoom and Neevo but my one hour a day Stan/Hilda Ap'n job finished yesterday so I really need to pull my finger out and knuckle down on the other jobs. And I'm going to apply for L'bridge and face those 200 pages of guidelines...

MoreMoneyPlease · 01/04/2021 16:57

@dirtyfries I agree, Og*n is so boring but I don't know what I'll do without it now so make the most of it!!

redgirl1 · 01/04/2021 17:09

Thanks for the new thread and happy Easter all.
Ap and Potatoes made me around £300. I am happy with that but I would love to push it another 100 or so. I should probably peel more spuds but the lack of content is such a drag. I’d like a second ap project really.
@Buster27 OMG amazing, well done you!

AnotherOne4 · 01/04/2021 17:11

Damn @Buster27 well done you! Flowers

Just tallied up my bits - I made £185.24. I'm over the moon with that sum. I was hoping for £120 and didn't think I'd made that.

Well done everyone!!

Dancingdolphins · 01/04/2021 17:52

I'm in the exact same boat as @rhij86 with a toddler and an 8 month old- we are in a baby group together Smile.

I made £100 crisp, £250 appen and £1300 on a job I've picked up for 6 months that is actually related to my pre kids career.

Tohaveandtohold · 01/04/2021 18:01

@Buster27, that’s amazing. Well done x
Thanks for the new thread. I made around £290 from LB and £60 from potato last month. I’ll apply to App*n this month once my Lb contract is over as I didn’t want to do both together before.

savvy7 · 01/04/2021 18:42

Is matched betting not a legitimate way to earn additional money? I'm clearing easily over £400 a month tax free with very little effort
