Cloud workers/chat from home

Essentially paid to flirt/sexy chat, I can't claim to be too knowledgable about these two!

Fivver/upwork/guru

Paid 'to do' sites. You can offer normal services on the latter two, or do odd things like sell a video of you clipping your toenails on Fivver.

Thanks Otterses, been lurking and now going to dip a toe in the water.

RainRainGoAway2020 · 01/03/2020 09:26

Does anybody know when Appen terminate your contract? I will have done a year on 3rd March and I’ve not heard from them yet. I don’t want to bother doing my project for the next few days if they are likely to terminate me next week.
Any ideas?

otterses · 01/03/2020 09:53

@RainRainGoAway2020

What project are you on?

They may well extend it! I did Nile for around 16 months rather than a year, and you'll still get paid for any hours you do even if your project does come to an end. I'd persevere, and keep an eye on your inbox.

I’m on Truckee Oops and I hate it so wouldn’t be too sad if it ended! Though I will miss the money. I’ve just found an email that says my contract ends on the 11th so I guess I should work until then.

MrsWombat · 01/03/2020 11:08

Just marking my place. My main sources of income for last month was uTest and Appen so any new people take a look at those first.

Good luck for March, I've got lots of projects lined up so it's looking very promising. Grin

anxiouswaiting · 01/03/2020 11:24

Here for another month Grin

Had a good final 2 weeks of Appen about $450 in just those 2 weeks for Feb. Sad it's almost out of work though.

This month I'll hopefully be doing a different transcription project that I've kind of ignored as I was focusing on the other - not sure how much work is on that though.

Also tomorrow a new project should start after multiple delays, fingers crossed!

I really need to get back into the swing of Cr* too as it went pretty quiet at the times I could work so I've neglected it but I don't want to lose my place.

Other than that I think I'll try academy on UTest, need to submit Cloudworkers paperwork and will keep on with Intellizoom and Prolific.

What's everyones March goal? Mine is £1,000 (good to be optomistic right?)

Lougle · 01/03/2020 11:25

Yes, I smashed £10 per day on UTest for February.

girlicorne · 01/03/2020 11:26

Morning everyone I m checking in for another month 😀 I made around £1000 for February across Appen, Cr and UHRS so I am fairly happy with that especially with being away for a week for half term as well. I also work full time so this is extra money to pay DDs school fees. Aiming for £1500 for March doing the same stuff but hoping the Appen project I ve been waiting on for ages (B) starts this week as promised!

MrsWombat · 01/03/2020 12:05

Any stay-at-home parents /non tax paying people with a basic rate tax paying partner who haven't claimed tax for the past four years get a free £1000 from the tax man. (Sadly not me Grin )

www.moneysavingexpert.com/family/marriage-tax-allowance/

You'll need to do it ASAP before the end of the tax year.

GachaBread · 01/03/2020 12:14

So February has been dire for me compared to other months

Cloud workers £550 to be paid soon
BeMyEye £135
Roamler £4
Field Agent £16
Mystery-shoppers £12.50
Streetbees £2

Won £25 on Lotto last night! Lucky me

Have had kids off half term, and lots of days of with sickness and has been very quiet even when working. Good bye February and hello March!

justtheonethen · 01/03/2020 12:15

Made £1400 across Appen, crisp, UHRS and tutoring

Crossing fingers that my new Appen project starts this week.

Been asked to tutor another student which is another £160 a month. Will be handy to get that in the bank to save for maternity leave.

@TheLolaMontez are you being induced soon?

Buster27 · 01/03/2020 12:32

£650* for Feb, mainly from matched betting and Appen but also small amounts from Crisp, Ebay and Prolific.

(*Still a bit to come from Appen from the last few days but not added to my invoice yet.)

My target was £20 a day (so £580 for Feb) so I'm happy with that. I'm now on maternity leave/expecting any day now so not sure how March's target of £620 will go!

teaandcake19 · 01/03/2020 12:38

Hope this is OK to post - I used one in the February thread so someone should get a free share (not had mine yet)

teaandcake19 · 01/03/2020 12:39

I've just tried to join Appen - does it take a while before you are accepted?

BertieBotts · 01/03/2020 13:55

Joining :) Thanks for new thread.

BertieBotts · 01/03/2020 14:03

Yeah, seems to - I haven't had anything come back from Appen yet, and I started at the beginning of January.

PurpleGhost · 01/03/2020 14:10

Figures for February

£40 Crisp
£225 Clickworker
£100 Neevo
£110 utest
£20ish Fiverr
£150 Cloudworkers

Total = £645

The month started off slow but some good tasks on Clickworker and Neevo have helped.

I've just signed up using someone's link on the last thread for Trading212. Here's my link if someone would like to use it

www.trading212.com/invite/FMOD9qmz

RainRainGoAway2020 · 01/03/2020 15:31

It took me two months before I got accepted for a project on Appen, and I’m still waiting on Crisp over a year later.

3dogsnorth · 01/03/2020 15:32

Place marking

Lougle · 01/03/2020 15:39

Some of these totals are amazing! I can't say I'm anyway near them but I'm £450 up in February, which is great.

BertieBotts · 01/03/2020 15:56

I made €24 in February :o

DuchessMinnie · 01/03/2020 16:29

Seriously impressed by some totals here. I am
still waiting for Appen to kick into action. I made a grand total of £88 last month, not good. My goals for this month are to get something on Clickworker and to sign up to Neevo and Utest. I have 2 huge credit card bills to pay and I need to earn some extra cash.

MrsWombat · 01/03/2020 16:33

I'm currently up to around £430 for the month but I'm hoping another set of Appen transcriptions are going to clear before the deadline on the 4th, and also some more uTest test cases will clear before payday tomorrow afternoon. Grin

BertieBotts · 01/03/2020 16:41

Just so I can check I'm not being totally thick (UHRS ahem)

Appen still says this for me:

"Your account is not yet active. Once you have fully qualified for at least one of the projects below, we will be able to work toward activating your account."

Is that just what it says before they accept you onto at least one job? Or am I supposed to do something to "fully qualify"?

It's been at that status for 2 months now.

NetballHoop · 01/03/2020 16:48

Well done to those of you making large amounts.

I don't have the time to dedicate to too much but with a mix of Prolific, QMee (which I think I'll quit), Utest and IntelliZoom I'm on about £50 per month.
It's not masses but it pays for family Spotify and Netflix as well as the odd Nespresso order.
