HAPPY NEW YEAR

For anyone who wasn't with us last year, we all set about trying to earn £10 a day on top of our usual income. No MLM schemes or anything dodgy. There were some fantastic amounts achieved, mat leaves extended, babies conceived, and redundancies survived. I know the thread got a bit confusing to follow for new starters, but please don't be intimidated! You don't need any special skills or anything to do any of this, it's all really accessible and I promise we'll all try to be clear about what sites/terms are so no one gets too lost

I haven't had time to put a full list together, and to be honest I want to pop off and go make the most of the content on Crisp Thinking (social media moderation site averaging around £10 per hour) but I was planning on popping up a list a bit later today.

I'm on the waitlist for Crisp. I feel like I always perform terribly in any only screening or quiz things so it was nice to manage 19/20 first time round. I hope the waiting list isn't months and months long!

I've downloaded Chips, hopefully I can persuade some friends to do the same and use my referral code.

I have spent a couple of hours just signing up for some of the stuff on this thread. I will need to spend some time on a laptop going through and doing the additional tests and filling in stuff properly.

Hope you had a great Christmas and New year! I sort of dissapeared in the second half of December, I was off work spending time with my son, celebrating the holidays and his first birthday! Back and raring to go now.

I had an email last week that my main appen project will be stopping (for me at least) after tomorrow. So did I miss anything last month in terms of new projects/sites?

Didnt pass the yukon exam 3rd part. It was tricky...hey ho...win some loose some.
At least if i getvanything like that again...ill have a bit of a heads up on what it involves.

Whilst waiting to hear back about projects..ill do a bit of matched betting.

I do have Amur and waiting for tasks on Astra one....

Is anyone working with sensee. Just wondered what they are like as an employer and what the work is like etc?

Gutted. Got an email to do the qualifying test for Salway on Appen. Just did it but failed as I didn't realise you need an Android device That was my first glimmer of hope too

@HarrietThePi I have started with Cloudworkers recently and they don't call you. The training is done over Skype but by messenger chat so you don't have to speak to anyone

I am also still here and have been doing Crisp for 6 months making 25 - 30 pounds a day. I started Appen Ghopp and now that has finished I was moved to Appen Adr and have been on that about 4 days.

I've seen people talk about different types of Appen (Global, Connect?)... I can only find one. Any pointers please?

New c risp people - how are you getting on? I went on for the first time on phase 2 and was I slow?!

There is effectively only one Appen which is connect. The others were originally companies that merged with them but continued as stand alone for a while. All jobs seem to be on Appen Connect now.

@ZetaPuppis I'm still really slow I'm going to venture into mod2 today, bit nervous though! I sent one in to check and I was right in what I thought it should be so that's boosted the confidence a bit

@SpirallingThroughAnotherDay good luck! I was thinking of doing the same but need to pluck up courage. Let me know how it goes.

Can definitely recommend Matched Betting - My partner and I only heard about this less than 2 months ago. Sounded too good to be true, but in less than a month we have already made a few hundred =D
