So... Anyone up for an earn £10 a day 2020 thread?

HAPPY NEW YEAR Crown Grin

For anyone who wasn't with us last year, we all set about trying to earn £10 a day on top of our usual income. No MLM schemes or anything dodgy. There were some fantastic amounts achieved, mat leaves extended, babies conceived, and redundancies survived. I know the thread got a bit confusing to follow for new starters, but please don't be intimidated! You don't need any special skills or anything to do any of this, it's all really accessible and I promise we'll all try to be clear about what sites/terms are so no one gets too lost Smile

I haven't had time to put a full list together, and to be honest I want to pop off and go make the most of the content on Crisp Thinking (social media moderation site averaging around £10 per hour) but I was planning on popping up a list a bit later today.

How long does it usually take for cloud workers to get back to you? Do they contact you by email first or should I keep my Skype logged in just in case?

I tend to get up at 5am and do an hour of Crisp then. I check in on profilic and clickworker on my commute for any small tasks, or enter competitions if there's no work on either. Then an hour or so in the evening after DS is in bed that I use for Crisp or my Appen project. I try to work quite late Saturday night to cram extra hours in too.

I'd love to take advantage of bemyeye, etc. But I seem to bump into service users the second I leave the building who need to tell me all about their very urgent problems that can't wait half an hour Grin

Has anyone signed up for Calawah on Appen? I have been sent an email saying that the guidelines for taking the test will be available in the next step. Not sure what that means as there isn't a next step on that email. I wonder if it means that they will send another email with the guidelines. Has anyone else had this?

Thanks for your reply @SNISR. That's what I thought, but thought I'd check incase I'd missed something. I'm doing ok on free trade @SNISR, I now have two free shares and another one queued. I think the total value is about £20 so far so quite pleased with that.

My free share has just come through, is there a way I can find out whether this is from signing up or someone using my link?
or do we not get one for sign up?

I got a pretty boring share, worth under £4 :')

@Patapouf, have a look on your account. I think they messaged me when each came in. One is for signing up and the other for your referral link. I seem to have another one queued, not sure why. It says it's waiting for my friend to top up their account. I have just had a look at their frequently asked questions and it says if you successfully invite a friend they'll allocate multiple new invites to you which is great.

@catatemyhomework I didn't get a message, just a push notification on my phone to say i'd received a mystery share. i'm hoping it's my sign up one because otherwise i messed up when i downloaded the app! I've had the same email WRT Calawah, i don't have anything available on my project thingy so i hope they email with the qualification guidelines soon.

Good first day on Crisp with £28 racked up. I have made it my goal to get my spending down and my saving up in 2020. Aiming for minimum £500 a month ideally.

Wow @madasaboxofcats. How long did you work for?
I’ve been doing it for a couple of weeks but haven’t been able to commit loads of time to it yet.
I’m hoping to do more as everyone gets back into routines.

@ZetaPuppis all told about 3 hours but split into one hour chunks throughout the day. I feel very productive!

@Patapouf, have a look on your app, I think it might be in the activity bit at the bottom of the screen. It should show your share queued and the amount you topped up. If there is only one share, it probably is your sign up one as you would need to sign up before you get the referral link. The referral share comes later when your friend signs up and deposits their money. Once that happens you should get your second share. After that, you can then receive multiple referrals to receive more shares. That's how I understand it anyway.
