Let's top up our bank balances for Christmas! It's the October earn £10 a day thread

Otterses · 01/10/2019 06:57

Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them Smile

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

@gingerkittykat cross post! Right after I sent mine I realised I'd had an email from [email protected] telling my my score (17 - 19 is the pass mark). Tried the test twice more and just got one saying I got 19 :)

Might be worth checking your spam folder?

Frenchdoors1 · 01/10/2019 22:00

Can any Clickworkers help me please.
I have done some work with them and it says the amount in Euros that I have up to now,i have just done some more work with them tonight and my amount has gone up.

I know there are different payment dates etc etc but am I right in saying that I have filled it in correctly where it says.." I am commercial and/or freelance NO and then there is no tax number"?

morrisseysquif · 01/10/2019 22:14

Still no word from Crisp, passed with 20/20 in May!

I have signed up for the isoftstone project and one for Appen.

Prolific and intelizoom are also quiet.

pisspants · 02/10/2019 00:35

Marking my place for October - hoping to see some fruit from the extra graft this month and not just treading water using the extra £ to fight fires!

Wolfff · 02/10/2019 05:23

Finally got my Isoftstone payment via PayPal. Not pleased to see that Paypal deducted a fee of over $20 though. Grrr.

justtheonethen · 02/10/2019 07:01

Still haven't got mine @Wolfff. Annoying about the PayPal fee

seizethecuttlefish · 02/10/2019 08:03

I got my payment too. Wasn't expecting the $20 fees. Bit peeved at that. Was going to try and do more but there's no point as I don't want to pay the fees again AngryI expected one payment when the project finished at the weekend, as I was doing additional recordings.

justtheonethen · 02/10/2019 08:18

I think the fee is 3% so it won't be as much as that again, unless you do the same amount. The fee would have just been more if you got one bigger payment. I think anyway

0hmygoodness · 02/10/2019 08:51

Quick question for those doing the SS voice recordings, are you sticking to the 500 a day for the extra ones or doing more?

CandyLeBonBon · 02/10/2019 08:55

I'm new here too although have seen previous threads - thought I'd dip in and say hi!

0hmygoodness · 02/10/2019 09:01

Hi CandyLeBonBon, good luck with your money making Grin

seizethecuttlefish · 02/10/2019 09:02

@ohmygoodness there are about 80000 prompts left apparently and they're not being that strict. The server was down last night, so I emailed them. Hope that helps?

3dogsnorth · 02/10/2019 10:11

I'm banging on with the isoftstone prompts. It's boring as hell but a nice little earner despite a PayPal fee. I'm doing as much as I can, just over 500 a day

AdaShelby · 02/10/2019 10:32

Checking in for October.

Has anyone on Crisp done the shifts for the Fizzy Drink that can't be named yet?

Just wondered what they were like compared to usual crisping.

AnotherMonickerChange · 02/10/2019 11:56

Why why WHY didn't I click on one of these threads months ago!!!

I've applied for Crisp, Appendix and Cloudworkers. I've also applied to the ModSquad.

I'm at home, disabled, being treated as unemployable. This would make me so happy, even if just one came through for me.

rhij86 · 02/10/2019 13:08

@AnotherMonickerChange good luck, hopefully something comes through for you! It might be worth trying some of the smaller ones too - I've applied for all the ones you mentioned mid Sept and the only one I've heard back from so far is Appen.

Not trying to dishearten you - just want to say you may have a bit of a wait with some of them.

Good luck, hope you are able to get something :)

bananamuffin99 · 02/10/2019 13:18

I made £184 with cloudworkers in September, wasn't giving it my all so I am happy. Made £76.65 from a few surveys and ebay too.

I found out I am pregnant so I really need to ramp it up with cloudworkers, I hope to make £300 in October at least! I can't continue to do my actual job, I will get my basic wage and if I get another role in a different department I'll get paid for the hours I work, but its not as much as normal. Feeling quite calm though as I do have savings.

Countrygirl94 · 02/10/2019 14:15

Followed the September thread, just wanted to say hi.
I've signed up for Appen, Crisp, ModSquad and istonesoft and Rev. Plus lots of survey sites and product testing.
I've done the Noyo Appen thing but that's all and I started on Rev last night.
Currently I'm on maternity leave and would love one of the big earners to come through so I didn't have to go back to work.
How long on average did it take for people to get an Appen project or Crisp?

mydogisthebest · 02/10/2019 16:03

I passed the Crisp test with 19 in May but have not heard any more from them. Is it worth re-taking the test with another email. It's been so long I can't remember what details I had to give. Obviously if you have to give your name/address they will realise I have already passed. I really want Crisp though

MrsWombat · 02/10/2019 16:25

I've just signed up with YouGov if anyone wants to use my referral link. I have no idea how often you get surveys or what they are worth but 5,000 points is a £50 bank transfer and you get 100 points when signing up and 200 for referring people. yougov.co.uk/refer/Hwtl-wVlaal9fp-geZF0IA/

CandyLeBonBon · 02/10/2019 17:01

I just sold some of my kids' outgrown toys and made £150! Just in time for DD's birthday tomorrow!

Wolfff · 02/10/2019 17:17

I think I’m giving up on isoftstone. I just had to skip a load of prompts that I just could not pronounce. I think a lot of the ones I did have a stab at are probably wrong as well!

justtheonethen · 02/10/2019 17:22

@Wolfff I'm thinking the same- I'm ploughing on for a bit but I suspect the ones left are the ones people have skipped or failed earlier as they are impossible!

AllTheProsecco · 02/10/2019 17:34

Is anyone struggling with the clickworker app? Tried a few times today and it just won't load...

MrsWombat · 02/10/2019 17:44

There is a new voice project on Appen and I got the acceptance email within a couple of hours. Let's hope it's not as horrible as Fletcher!!!
