Let's top up our bank balances for Christmas! It's the October earn £10 a day thread

Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them Smile

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

Thanks justtheonethen It's also reassuring to know that someone out there has been having a look at what I'm doing and that I'm doing it right - I've never had a job with zero feedback before! Most weeks I should be around at the point the shifts are released, so hoping to pick up a few each week.

TheLolaMontez · 01/10/2019 11:42

Hi everyone, also checking in.

I've not finished my totals for September yet as I had a late night Etsy order come in last night, another sloth(!!) but I think I did around £450, which I'm quite happy with.

I've just started website testing which is ok and easy. I've done 3 or 4 of those for $10 a time and they pay fairly promptly.

Not returned to cloudworkers, I may dip my toe back in this month if I can be bothered, it's all extra money, I suppose, but I definitely needed a break from it!

Prolific was good for me last month and I'm very close to reaching 10,000 points on Vypr. Also nearly at $10 on OnePulse, which has to be the easiest survey site in the world!

Happy October everyone 🎃
Speaking of 🎃s how did you get on with your crop @Otterses ?

reddA · 01/10/2019 11:59

October already!! Just a quick placemark from me, will check back later, September was crap, around £350 on Crisp. Hope everyone is doing ok :)

anxiouswaiting · 01/10/2019 12:04

People who did the isoftstone, did you let them know you had finished? I have done mine but none past the initial 100 have been checked.

justtheonethen · 01/10/2019 12:09

@anxiouswaiting mine weren't until I finished and I emailed to tell them.

anxiouswaiting · 01/10/2019 12:17

@justtheonethen thanks, I will pop them an e-mail and let them know I have done them Smile

Onehellofaride · 01/10/2019 12:26

First time on this thread today and I’ve just signed up to Appen and Cloudworkers and completed the application and assessment for Crisp. Don’t fancy matched betting as I don’t want anything that could potentially affect a mortgage application. Will I be safe with those ones?

Also can anyone advise what I would need to do from a tax aspect?

Sorry I am a complete novice!

Moremoneyplease · 01/10/2019 12:27

@Frenchdoors1 Was that literally just through all the 32p/19p surveys or are there some better paid ones I don't get to see??

@TheLolaMontez Which website testing sites/apps are you using? Are they quite easy to do? I think I need to be more on the ball with Prolific!

Bemystarlord · 01/10/2019 12:32

Still no sign of the isoftstone payment, has anyone else had theirs?

justtheonethen · 01/10/2019 12:37

@Bemystarlord nope not yet

TheLolaMontez · 01/10/2019 12:46

@Moremoneyplease I use usertesting the most currently. I'm signed up to loads though and I just check them periodically. They have been the best for me so far.

OnlyBejoking · 01/10/2019 13:02

Not a massive money earner but I'm loving Airtime Rewards for some no-effort cashback. You get a free 50p (so do I) if you sign up using a referral link...

My favourite retailers now pay for my mobile bill, join @airtimerewards and get free credit using my code LKCNKHHU airtimerewards.app.link/friend

3dogsnorth · 01/10/2019 13:11

Regarding Qmee, I've been on it but had nothing in ages. Anyone else? Profile is up to date too

SorryDidISayThatOutLoud · 01/10/2019 13:24

Hello all😊
Bad month for me so I only reached about £10 on Crisp but I shall be raring to go this month!

GachaBread · 01/10/2019 13:34

It's been a week and two days since I sent over my documents to cloudworkers, I haven't heard anything since. I rang them yesterday and the guy I spoke to said he would pass my details onto the relevant department and somebody would contact me but as of yet nobody has.
Qmee I'm doing fantastic on their. I have made over a tenner in the last week. Been getting alot of 70p and upwards surveys with the highest being £1.54.
Made £50 with mystery-shoppers.co.uk last week.
BeMyEye I made £30 this weekend doing some razor blade jobs.
Roamler has been slow as jobs have been very hard so only done one at £5
Still waiting on Crisp,Appen,Take Note.
Applied last night for some Bingo Chat moderator roles with Mecca and Sky Bingo.
Weworkremotely.com is another good site to check up on.
Applied for some research panel stuff through peopleforresrarch, researchi and some others I can't remember.
Xmas is well on the way and will be here before we no it so got to crack on with everything possible.
Why o why can't I just get an email back from Crisp accepting me

TheCanterburyWhales · 01/10/2019 13:46

Checking in.
Think I need to take the plunge and get the online English teaching applications done- found out today my teaching hours have been cut from 20 to 10 per week until January

But, you know what? I thought, fine! Fuck it! I'll just have more time to do things on the puter from Otterses thread! So thank you again (all of you) for keeping this thread going and keeping us all motivated and positive!

Sept only earned about £150 (mainly Etsy) but am now rolling my sleeves up!

Wolfff · 01/10/2019 13:49

Not a bad month for me, billed Appen for around £300 after deductions and exchange rate. Earned around £300 as well from isoftstone for the one off project that is still going, so grateful for that.

I have negligible earnings from Prolific and Intellizoom and should get around €40? from a clickworker.

I could really do with a second Appen project but if I'm honest I don't really have time to do it. I also work FT and study for work based exams.

Moremoneyplease · 01/10/2019 14:04

@GachaBread I'm just signing up for BeMyEye and it's asked if I have an invitation code - do you have one to share that gets you a referral fee?

Buster27 · 01/10/2019 14:04

Quite surprised to be saying this, but I heard back from crisp! Already panicking about the test haha.

I originally applied months ago and heard nothing. I used my MB email to sign up, but I had a break from MB and wasn't monitoring the email so it did cross my mind that if an email had gone to my junk folder, which clears periodically, I could have missed it (though this is probably unlikely). Decided to sign up again with my regular email and I've heard back within 2 weeks.

justtheonethen · 01/10/2019 14:22

Woohoo @Buster27 Smile

Bemystarlord · 01/10/2019 14:34

Oh wow @Buster27 thats great!! I have wondered about applying again woth a different email as it was back in May when i originally did it. Might have to start stalking my emails again 🤣 @TheLolaMontez have you heard anything from Crisp yet?

TheLolaMontez · 01/10/2019 14:35

@Bemystarlord no 😩 have you?

Louise0701 · 01/10/2019 14:39

Hi, I’ve watched these threads for a while but had a baby in August so stopped looking and now I’ve decided to get on board in time for Christmas. Just applied to crisp, it said they have a waiting list so I went through some details and then had to answer 31 questions then at the end it said I’ve been added to the waiting list? Was this the assessment or do I have to wait for that?

Frenchdoors1 · 01/10/2019 14:41

@Moremoneyplease

They were mainly lower paid surveys, never got a £1 or over one, they always screened out or I didn't fit the profile.
I saw that someone on here got a large amount because they had the qmee extension on their computer, so must have been on quite often to pick up the adverts. I don't have it installed on mine because I'm not on it enough.

CatflapFlapjack · 01/10/2019 14:41

Thanks @Otterses for all the links.
I signed up to Crisp last month and got 19/20 on the test, and have just had an email asking for me to sign up to be a contractor.

Can anyone advise how Crisp Thinking pay you? I’m on maternity leave so I can’t be on an official payroll or it will affect my payments, but if it’s just Paypal etc then I think that’s fine?
