Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

I applied for my first Appen role, the Niflheim one and got an email to say I've been accepted, so waiting to hear more about that.

I wanted to go back and see if there was anything else I could potentially apply for, but when I log in now it takes me straight to the 'status information' page, and even when I click on 'all projects' nothing happens.

Can you only work on one Appen project at a time or something?

@CatHopeful I am doing 2 appen projects at the moment, maybe theres a glitch on their site at the moment?

I got accepted onto the nifleheim already, pretty chuffed as only applied about a hour ago!

That's useful to know pisspants - there was a huge long list of projects, that was the first one I fancied, and I wanted to go back and look through the rest :/

justtheonethen I've no idea what their selection criteria was, I wondered if they accepted me just because it was the first thing I'd applied for.

Got an email to say I've been selected for nilflin but can't see anymore info and it's not in my active tasks. Is everyone else the same?

@0hmygoodness I'm still waiting to hear on Dorian. I was accepted on Atascadero over a week ago but have heard nothing more. Does anyone know if this is normal?

@seizethecuttlefish I had a confirmation email for nilflin but it's not showing up in my current processes. I can still see it to apply for it in all projects, but it won't let me apply again. So not sure if I'm on it or not?

I've been accepted onto Niflwotsit as well. A little flurry of emails fell into my box.

I thought I'd have a look at Clickworkers, then remembered it's the one that won't let me in because it keeps telling me I already have an account. Which I do, but I forgot the password, so I signed up with another email address and it keeps shouting at me about what a vile human I am for trying to hoodwink it by having two accounts. I emailed them months ago to try and sort it out but never had a reply. Hey ho.

@0hmyggodness I applied for Dorian and it said i was accepted pending taking qualification tests but it has disapeared from everywhere! This was last week and still missing 😬

Finally managed to log on to UHRS to work on Crescent! Is anyone else on it that can shed some light on what its all about? Also is it Auto generated?

Hello everyone, I've been trying to complete the Crisp test, failed it 6 times and feeling really deflated. Roughly how long did it take before you guys passed? I keep scoring 17 or 18 😔

I think I tagged 2 profanity ones, maybe that's where I'm going wrong

@Kerrieanne85 I think in some of them I was tagging threats of violence or something but not also tagging activists? Worth checking that one too

I’ve been doing Prolific and a few survey sites for a while now and wondered if there are any other sites with studies, like Prolific, rather than the general surveys.

@Bemystarlord I had an email with a link to a UHRS site with the gudelines. Did you get that far? It only gives you a couple of days to do it I think. Is it worth you emailing the support team?

Can someone clarify what the voice recordings are? I can't find anything about it

@CandyLeBonBon I think the voice recordings are a specific project for ISoftStone. I applied yesterday but not heard anything yet. Here

Has everyone seen the email from isoftstone about having to stop recording now if you're female? Don't want anyone to waste time on recordings that won't be paid!
