Let's top up our bank balances for Christmas! It's the October earn £10 a day thread

Otterses · 01/10/2019 06:57

Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them Smile

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

@Louise0701
You should have received an email seconds after you submitted your answers for crisp, that will tell you how many you got right.

Bemystarlord · 01/10/2019 14:44

@TheLolaMontez nope me neither :( looks like they are doing another round of recruiting too.

TheLolaMontez · 01/10/2019 14:45

I wonder if it's worth doing the test again? They just don't seem to want us midlanders

Bemystarlord · 01/10/2019 14:47

I have been wondering whether to do it again. They clearly don’t know what they are missing 🤣

Those that have recently heard from Crisp what area are you in? (P.s congrats, i’m jealous but very happy for you too 😀)

Louise0701 · 01/10/2019 14:48

@Frenchdoors1 yep just checked my email. I got 18!! How annoying. Can I try again?

Bemystarlord · 01/10/2019 14:54

@louise0701 you can have as many goes as you want :)

Frenchdoors1 · 01/10/2019 14:55

@Louise0701

Well done!!
I attempted it on Sunday for the billionth time and got 18.
Some peop have been accepted with 18 on this thread. On 19 you can be accepted too.
Yes, you can try as many times as you like, I'm waiting until my head isn't mashed with ally attempts before I try again.

Frenchdoors1 · 01/10/2019 14:55

Louise0701 · 01/10/2019 15:03

Thanks all. Will give it another shot after dinner. Good luck!

MrsGaryLightbody · 01/10/2019 15:26

Hi all just place marking. Can't believe it's October already. I can't recall if it was May or June when I joined you.

Sadly I'll be away from trying to earn for a little bit. Lots going on but I'll be back. Smile

Enjoy your earnings !

justtheonethen · 01/10/2019 15:50

@CatflapFlapjack they pay you by PayPal or by bank transfer but I would be careful if you're not allowed to earn anything on mat leave as you would have to declare it to hmrc.

CatflapFlapjack · 01/10/2019 16:02

@justtheonethen ah right ok, I thought it would just be the same as doing market research, etc and it wouldn’t affect my income tax

CatflapFlapjack · 01/10/2019 16:03

@Bemystarlord I heard from Crisp today and am in Yorkshire

justtheonethen · 01/10/2019 16:10

@CatflapFlapjack ah no, it's a proper job one.

TheCanterburyWhales · 01/10/2019 16:19

Great to hear that Crisp seem to be actively signing people now I'm finally on the waiting list!

Otterses · 01/10/2019 16:43

😂 you lot have been busy! I'll catch up in a minute.

Buster27 · 01/10/2019 17:45

@Bemystarlord - I'm in Scotland. I got 19 both times, but I passed first time with my second sign up (took something like 4-5 attempts with the first email). Not sure if that makes any difference though.

0hmygoodness · 01/10/2019 17:55

Thanks for the new thread Otterses.
Thanks to you and all the contributers to the thread I made an extra £530 in September! I'm thrilled. GrinGrinGrin

Still no sign of Crisp (I'm another one waiting since May) but my Appen project is great and I can always do some more on Clickworker UHRS tasks to try to do as well in October. (or keep everything crossed for more voice recordings)

Good luck everyone.

Moremoneyplease · 01/10/2019 18:30

I know it's not a big money earner but am I the only one who really enjoys doing VYPR? It's a bit like Candy Crush or something! (I say that having never played Candy Crush but I find VYPR pretty addictive!) Just wish there were more steers.

MrsWombat · 01/10/2019 18:51

I got 19 back in May for Crisp and haven't heard anything. Envy Very jealous!

DontCallMeDarling · 01/10/2019 20:42

Place marking

I applied to crisp in June and also heard nothing. I don't think it's an area thing as you don't give them that info, I think it's timing and whether it coincides with them wanting to recruit. I doubt they ever refer to the waiting list beyond the most recent. When I feel better and have less on my mind, I will apply again with a different email.

Wolfff · 01/10/2019 21:10

I think they can tell you area from your IP address.

rhij86 · 01/10/2019 21:21

How do people know what they scored for Crisp? I did the test and it just said thank you, you've been added to the waiting list. Does that mean I passed?

Gingerkittykat · 01/10/2019 21:34

*Thank you for your interest in becoming a Crisp Risk Analyst Contractor.

You have now been added to the waiting list.

If an opening comes up that suits your availability and skills, you will be contacted by email.*

This is the second time I've tried Crisp, I never heard back the first time does anyone know if this message means I have passed or not?

Gingerkittykat · 01/10/2019 21:37

Just checked my spam for a Crisp email. I got 14/20 first time which explains why I never heard back. I got 19/20 this time, so fingers crossed.
