Let's top up our bank balances for Christmas! It's the October earn £10 a day thread

Otterses · 01/10/2019 06:57

Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them Smile

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

@Moremoneyplease I'm not sure if appen can. But the client will be able to. I'm not too worried about that as don't have anything interesting on there Halloween Grin
I think it said your details would be kept on file for 9 months.

PiggyPokkyFool · 21/10/2019 13:26

Hi @dreamyflower - you may already be making your money with these guys but if not I recommend trying them.
www.swagbucks.com/p/register?rb=59151827
I have done loads of online surveys over the years and these are the best for a quick reward . You get loads of tops up at the end of the month for all the days you hit your daily goal too and then they give you extra points when you hit points levels called Swag Ups. I have earned £290 in 11 weeks just from this site alone.
I do use another 4 sites too.

Moremoneyplease · 21/10/2019 13:39

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock Have you always got your money back quickly for things you've bought for Amur or is there a delay/any issues?

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 21/10/2019 13:56

@moremoneyplease

I got the first money back fine and am waiting for the next. You have to wait until next payment date so can take a month or 2!

Bemystarlord · 21/10/2019 14:06

Have heard from Isofstone (voice prompt work) and apparently payment for the additional prompts will be done this afternoon. They say i have failed over 700 prompts which seems excessive considering i only failed 40 out of the first batch and i didn’t do anything different so bit annoyed with them!!

Been working on crisp today and im so slow And bot doing too many because im so nervous about getting it wrong 😬 with the training data do they let you know how you are doing?

Bemystarlord · 21/10/2019 14:55

Ignore me i’ve misunderstood, only 41 failed 😅 phew.

Wolfff · 21/10/2019 15:22

I've heard nothing from iSoftstone since the email on Friday. Annoying!

rhij86 · 21/10/2019 15:31

@Otterses and anyone else working long term projects on Appen...

I've been accepted on Uolo and the project page says in order to start on the tool I will need I will have been emailed a link with my sign on details. Now I appreciate I only passed the test 3am today Grin - does anyone know how long I might have to wait for the login details?
I'm just a bit anxious as I was accepted onto Atascadero almost a month ago and despite it being a live project have heard nothing more.

Uolo will literally change my life in terms of debts and savings if I even only managed to work it for a couple of months, so pretty anxious and desperate to start Blush

Wolfff · 21/10/2019 16:14

I think I waited a couple of days for my project tool - don't worry I'm sure it will appear soon.

rhij86 · 21/10/2019 16:19

@wolfff thanks :)

girlicorne · 21/10/2019 16:36

Has anyone had payment from Isoftstone yet? I was told it would be by the end of the day today and to email if it hadn’t appeared which i am about to do. I sent an email complaint yesterday as it is completely unacceptable.

MrsWombat · 21/10/2019 16:50

@rhij86 I'm on a different long term project but I'm sure it was at least a day or two between getting the acceptance email and being given all the details. My long term project has the same "parent company" as yours so I'm guessing it will be similar.

rhij86 · 21/10/2019 17:13

@mrswombat fab thank you

Buster27 · 21/10/2019 17:43

@Bemystarlord I felt the same when I was doing the phase 1 stuff on Crisp. I didn't get any feedback, just an email telling me I was onto phase 2 (which is live queue). Try not to be nervous, they are definitely not too strict on newbies (I emailed about a few queries that it turns out I'd marked incorrectly.. one had come up about a dozen times so I did panic I'd get chucked off, but I didn't).

Moremoneyplease · 21/10/2019 17:44

@PiggyPokkyFool That's really good! I haven't done much on there but will look into it a bit more. What other sites do you use?

Bemystarlord · 21/10/2019 17:59

@Buster27 thank you, Ive emailed about a few that i wasn’t sure About so hopefully if they tell me what they should be i might have a better idea. Think we need a crisp support group 🤣🤣

seizethecuttlefish · 21/10/2019 19:18

@girlicorne I emailed today to ask as I'm waiting on a 10 dollar referral and don't know how many of my additional ones passed. Not heard anything but replies tend to be at night.

girlicorne · 21/10/2019 19:24

Thank you @seizethecuttlefish hopefully the payment will go in late at night too, I know my Appen payment went in at 4am last time!

justtheonethen · 21/10/2019 19:30

@seizethecuttlefish I'm waiting for referrals but they haven't told me how many I have that did it....did they tell you?

seizethecuttlefish · 21/10/2019 19:58

@justtheonethen I only referred my husband so I know he did it. He's waiting for his whole payment, he's not impressed by my money making ideas Blush

It's pretty much all I have coming in this month. I'm a bit desperate!

justtheonethen · 21/10/2019 20:10

@seizethecuttlefish I referred a few people from here but I won't know if they did it or not, have to hope the company are honest! Haha your poor husband Grin

PiggyPokkyFool · 21/10/2019 20:45

@Moremoneyplease I use:
My second favourite : You Gov as you never screen out :
yougov.co.uk/refer/5n4orle6y-iGn-xFyNEk-w/
Toluna: uk.toluna.com/referral/harleyjoshua
Really went off Toluna as I was screening out of loads of things but the last 10 days they are lots of decent surveys PLUS you get products to try as well - this month I have had Quality street, Heros and dishwasher tablets with crisps on their way.
Also Panelbase.net - sorry I don't have a clicky link for that one.
That is my favourites in order. I do Lifepoints too but can't recommend them! Grin

PiggyPokkyFool · 21/10/2019 20:47

yougov.co.uk/refer/5n4orle6y-iGn-xFyNEk-w/

hope this link is clicky otherwise you can copy and paste.

rhij86 · 21/10/2019 21:28

Logins all set up for Uolo - looking forward to making a start tomorrow!

Just want to thank @otterses and all the other 'originals' from the Sept thread. If I hadn't stumbled on it I would be struggling to pay the bills this month, instead I'm able to treat DH for his upcoming birthday!

Graphista · 22/10/2019 00:04

Have seen these threads every now and then on the active page and been curious.

I’m housebound agoraphobic BUT I do have a brain and qualifications I’d like to be using and it would be nice to have some extra money coming in.

Problem is, I’m currently on legacy disability benefits and not wanting to trigger myself onto UC until absolutely necessary. Just been made to do PiP claim from being on DLA I’m still in the first 6 weeks waiting period for that and been told they’re backlogged anyway.

So I’m very reluctant to “Rock the boat”

I’m actually wanting long term to work remotely to a level of full time earnings but there’s a lot to organise yet so that’s long term goal.

Short term as I’m on Esa in theory I can do “permitted work” but I don’t know if any of this stuff you guys are doing would be classed as ok for that.

Hoping it is as eg Appen looks right up my street! And one thing I DO have plenty of is time to do things online!

Any other esa or others on legacy benefits doing this? Have you had any problems with dwp as a result?

Don’t want to sabotage myself as I NEED that money to live on obviously.

Quite honestly even an extra £50 a month would be great.

I have a degree in English, experience in admin (inc some technical and legal areas), retail, bookkeeping, medical and hospitality.

Where I’m stuck, in addition to being housebound, is lack of tech, only currently have my iPhone and fire tablet. (Long term aim is to purchase, possibly with help from grants, a laptop, software and peripheral equipment to be able to do more involved remote admin and similar work possibly even tefl remotely)

But it would be great to make a start with this type of work.
