Because we're all so excited and never shut up Grin

A huge congratulations to all the new Crispers! Hopefully @reddA the content hoarder won't stand in your way of earning extra cash Wink

thank you. I am still going through the ever so slightly onerous process of setting myself up on the system. It is taking a little time ...

SorryDidISayThatOutLoud · 27/06/2019 15:42

@m00rfarm I am doing the same. I was wondering whether to use my real name as my user name or not............

m00rfarm · 27/06/2019 15:55

I am now on slack etc - the only thing I do not have access to is the actual application to do the work (at least I think I do not have this yet)

Otterses · 27/06/2019 15:56

Hmm I didn't get to pick mine! It's my real name, to be fair, I probably couldn't handle the pressure of making one up.

I have some kind good/sad news. I can start my new job as soon as DS can go back to nursery full time Grin it'll be great to have a 'proper' payday and this £10 a day can go back into the savings pot rather than me having to use it for living expenses.

OMG my brain is frazzled with all the STUFF!! I have decided to wait until this evening when all is calm and have a good read through. I hope it all clicks into place!

whatthewhatthewhat · 27/06/2019 15:59

@BlackCatFan how you getting on with Cloudworkers?

@Otterses well done?! Maybe?! Do you want to go back?

Otterses · 27/06/2019 16:05

@whatthewhatthewhat

I do I've enjoyed my time off with DS, and dedicating time to earning money, but I'm ready to get back to it. I actually really like my job, it makes me feel like I'm hopefully making a positive impact on society... I hope!

@SorryDidISayThatOutLoud

Crisp? Or just everything in general? Just breathe. Go slow. There is no rush at all Smile you'll get it.

reddA · 27/06/2019 16:10

Shit @Otterses a real job in the real world with real people??? Noooo Shock lol - you'll be rolling in it Grin

Good luck Crispers - at this rate we'll be able to have our own works Christmas party! [santa] Grin

Otterses · 27/06/2019 16:21

@reddA Grin I knowwwwww! Real people! And my desk is next to a WINDOW! I've forgotten how to work in the outside world. It feels like it's been years 7 weeks.

It's a very deprived area, with a lot of socioeconomic issues. I think I'm probably in for quite a shock on my first day Grin but I'm really excited.

BeeMyBaby · 27/06/2019 16:22

Congratulation @Otterses! I've got a full time job over the summer and finding it difficult to keep up with the self-employed stuff Brew

SorryDidISayThatOutLoud · 27/06/2019 16:23

Otterses well done at returning to your permanent job! I have one of those as well but I mainly work at home and just attend for meetings. Sometimes it's harder to be discliplined WFH I find - but it does help if you can quickly pop the washing machine on etc!

BlackCatFan · 27/06/2019 16:31

@whatthewhatthewhat I'm thinking about ditching Cloudworkers now I've been accepted for Crisp.. my brain can only handle one thing at a time. It's also hardly worth the money! Was supposed to do a shift today actually but I did the Crisp test instead.. Confused

We should totally have a Christmas 'do Wine[santa]

anxiouswaiting · 27/06/2019 16:36

I'm so excited that I need to share!

Doesn't really count towards my ' extra earnings' because it isn't money I have earned as such but it will make such a difference.

£340 in my bank today from reclaiming overpaid student loan payments Grin Still waiting to hear about a tax rebate too so fingers crossed for that.

But my big news is that I have been awarded a scholarship which will cover all but about £1,500 the cost of a part-time masters degree. I can't believe it, when I applied I didn't think I stood much chance as there would be a lot of applications, but today I got confirmation that I will get the award provided I meet certain conditions which shouldn't be an issue.

I didn't think I would be able to afford to do my masters as a post graduate loan will cover course fees but that's about all. Now I can use my loan to pay for a bit of childcare so I can concentrate on my studies and also cover some living expenses so I don't have to work myself silly doing extra shifts to cover everything.

I will of course still be working away at the £10 a day challenge but this news has just made my week Grin

MrsWombat · 27/06/2019 16:42

Well done to the new Crisp workers. I'm very jealous! I'm guessing the emails came from Crisp Thinking? I've been frantically searching my spam box just in case. Grin I did the first test about a month ago so still a long wait ahead I'm guessing.

lannister · 27/06/2019 17:15

Wow 2 threads for June. Well done everyone!

Otterses · 27/06/2019 17:15

@anxiouswaiting

Congratulations! There seems to be so much good news this week Smile

OP posts:
Bemystarlord · 27/06/2019 18:08

@Mrswombat i’m exactly the same 🤣 bordering on obsessive now. Are you i the east midlands bu any chance? Thelolamontez and I both are and are still waiting.

Congratulations to everyone who has had good news this week :) this is clearly a luck attracting thread although i didnt win the euro millions this week so must be my turn next week 😂

Otterses · 27/06/2019 18:12

@Bemystarlord

I'd absolutely love for someone on here to win it big Grin

Speaking of which, £250,000 to be won on the ITV racing this weekend! Be sure to pick your horses before Saturday.

OP posts:
Otterses · 27/06/2019 18:14

I'm very happy with my picks. They include Speedo Boy and Justonemorebottle Grin

OP posts:
Bemystarlord · 27/06/2019 18:18

@otterses will have to try the horses, not done this yet. Really need to win big, I’ve got a lovely house with donkeys, goats and chickens all planned in my head 🤣

Otterses · 27/06/2019 18:24

@Bemystarlord

Haha! It's with doing. It takes all of a minute, and you never know! You could get all 7 horses in first place. I always hope that with the cashback casino offers, that I'll win a decent amount.

Speaking of chickens, I have peacock problems. It's in my drive and the Sainsbury's van will be here any minute Grin

OP posts:
justtheonethen · 27/06/2019 18:26

Loving all the good news. Congrats everyone.

@Otterses I have a peacock on my road at the moment, imagine if we were neighbours 🤣

bkaz · 27/06/2019 18:31

@Otterses Well done. I hope we will still have you to hold our hands[]

Bemystarlord · 27/06/2019 18:31

@Otterses the peacock again! I think you might have a stalker 🤣 do you know where it comes from? don’t make it mad though, peacock poo can spray a good distance and stinks really bad (as we discovered when one sprayed all over the pram at warwick castle!!)

Otterses · 27/06/2019 19:03

@Bemystarlord

It escaped from a farm many years ago. I'm too afraid to go near it, so I'm not at risk of peacock poo thankfully.

@bkaz Oh I'm not going anywhere! Just a bit less in the daytime Grin

@justtheonethen Shock I live in the house with the fucking stupid yellow wooden flower in the window. I imagine I'm the only person in the country with such a hideous ornament in my window, so I should be easy to find Grin
