I'll be at profit of £95 profit tomorrow after the Rangers game after 5 intro offers, a couple of other offers that were sent to me £8 off free spins.

Quite a fun little evening activity this! Can see why you get into it. Appeals to my spreadsheet love and the feeling of 'free money'.

titchy · 25/10/2018 07:39

It's not to be advised sushi - use a different game next time (unless you're betting in play, but avoid that if you can). As it's WH you'll probably be ok as they're slow to gub.

SushiMonster · 25/10/2018 07:53

Thanks titchy

Won’t do it again :-)

Underworld345 · 25/10/2018 21:38

@MissFitton can you give us a brief description of what you do to get £1k a month. My profit is £1400 and started 6 weeks ago. But after the welcome offers and a rare big win from mrspin/pocketwin loophole, I don’t know how this is sustainable?

I do 2 clears (only made small profit) and 2ups every day pretty much but not had one decent pay out yet!

Merryoldgoat · 25/10/2018 21:59

@underworld345

What is the Pocket Win/Mr Spin loophole?

Underworld345 · 26/10/2018 08:00

It was all over team profit group on Facebook. They gave you a deposit match up to £100. Team profit have been asked to take down the guides now as they’ve caught on about what members were doing. I don’t know if you can still do it though.

Merryoldgoat · 26/10/2018 08:30

So you just got a free withdrawable £100??

I’ve just totted up my transactions for the week and am over the moon to report £200 profit for week 1 and I’ve been extremely cautious. I was aiming for that by the end of next week! Very very pleased as this is genuinely going to make a massive difference to my life even if I stop after the welcome offers are completed.

mmmbeans · 26/10/2018 08:33

Hi, put this on a new thread but thought I'd also add it to a current thread.

Started matched betting a week ago after tip toeing round the edge of it for a couple of months. I've been reading loads of threads on here, signed up for MatchedBets (has odds checker, calculator and other tools).

Have read and watched videos including on Save The Student and Profit Accumulator. I signed up for Betfair a couple of months ago using a new email address but can't remember my details and can not recover them. As Profit Accumulator uses Betfair I can't sign up to them as my new email address seems to be associated with the 'lost' one. Have signed up to Smarkets exchange now which I quite like.

Anyway, I put £150 in to my Smarkets account. Signed up for about 5 bookies for sign up deals. Had to put about £70 into bookies accounts to register and claim bonus funds. So have put £220 in to MB so far. Feel ok (not 100% confident yet) with MB.

So after using my free bets and now they're all settled, my Smarkets balance is £225.

I only seem to have made £5 in a week. What am I doing wrong? How is everyone managing to make any money? I'm obviously doing something wrong

Underworld345 · 26/10/2018 09:04

You needed to wager it once to withdraw but the idea was to do £10 bets on roulette on black or red then winnings could be withdrawn straight away so you did a “withdrawal dance”

MissFitton · 26/10/2018 09:06

Underworld - I use the Profit Accumulator daily offers calendar and offers posted on the Team Profit FB group.

I'd say casino makes up about 80% of my profits and I've lost most of the big bookies now. I'll be down on Profit this month but should still hit over 1k.
2up has been a bit hit and miss but that's what I'm trying to do more if at the moment.

Beans - did any of your bets win to the bookies? You might have money in there. Otherwise, we're your odds close matches? The wider the odds the more of a qualifying loss you'll make initially and less profit on the free bets which can eat into your profits.

Futon thanks for replying.

No wins at the bookies. Smarkets says I've made £70ish profit, which is really just the amount I've spent at the bookies so no 'real' profit.

I was betting with as close odds as possible on all bets, qualifying and free.

Matched Betting was able to find me most of the odds but I'm able to find really close odds myself too.

Merryoldgoat · 26/10/2018 10:36

Beans - are you laying the correct amount at the exchange?

I’ve been taking it very slowly but can’t see how you can fail to make profit if you follow the instructions carefully...

mmmbeans · 26/10/2018 12:11

Hi Merry

I think so? If my qualifying bet or free bet is £10 then I'm laying £10 at the exchange too. Is that right?

I'm so confused but also frustrated as I've spent a lot of time reading and also looking in to bets, for v little profit. Also feel I have wasted free bets

Hopefully it's just minor errors I'm making and I can get the ball rolling soon.

mmmbeans · 26/10/2018 12:15

How long have you been doing MB for Merry? How much of a float did you start with and how much profit have you made?

I really thought it had all clicked in to place after weeks of confusion!

twinkledag · 26/10/2018 12:27

Can someone explain 2ups to me?

How do you make a profit on them?

titchy · 26/10/2018 13:21

If my qualifying bet or free bet is £10 then I'm laying £10 at the exchange too. Is that right?

No! Use the calculator to work out your lay amount. For a qualifying bet it will be almost the same, but for a free bet you underlay at the exchange - typically a £10 free bet should be layed at around £8 otherwise, as in your case, you make no profit.

titchy · 26/10/2018 13:24

2Ups - if the team goes 2 goals up fairly early (ie the other team has a chance to come back) then you can cash out your exchange bet at better odds than you originally layed at - which gives you profit. Or you can leave the game to run, knowing that you've won at the bookie, and if the other team does come back then you will also win at the exchange. Doesn't happen often - but when it does: £££££!

Merryoldgoat · 26/10/2018 13:40

Beans - no - that’s your issue! You don’t lay and bet the same amount!!

Are you using Profit Accumulator? The calculator tells you the amount to lay and what your liability will be.

I started at the beginning of this week with £150 and I’ve made nearly £200 so £350 in funds in various places.

Rewatch the videos - I have taken it very slowly. I expect to be up to £400 profit by end of next week.

twinkledag · 26/10/2018 14:22

@titchy - so you don't lay the bet? or you do? confused.com!

mmmbeans · 26/10/2018 14:50

 oops!

Thanks for the advice, I shall give it a bash the way you have said and hopefully I'll start seeing profit! Really thought I had it as well. Will let you know how I get on.

titchy · 26/10/2018 16:19

Yes you do lay the bet. But once the team has gone 2 up, the bookie's paid out so you no longer need the lay. So if you lay say £10 on Arsenal at 3.5 and they go 2 up fairly early, you can cash in your exchange bet - but you'll find the exchange odds have dropped, so cashing out will lose you less than you originally thought it would at the exchange - maybe £15 rather than the original £25 liability.

SushiMonster · 26/10/2018 17:40

So for the 2-ups you have to be watching the game and online so you can cash out?

SushiMonster · 26/10/2018 17:46

I don't know if i'll carry on once I've done all the sign up offers because the ongoing profits look like you have to spend aot more time to generate them.

I'd like to get £1.5k of profits in the next 3 months to spend on a bike :-) Guilt free bike buying!

mmmbeans · 26/10/2018 18:26

Thanks for the advice earlier.

So I was basically just moving money from bookies to exchange?

I think I know what I'm doing now so I have signed up to 3 more bookie offers and have put my qualifying back bet and lay bets on. All footie matches tonight so hopefully the free bets come in soon then I can get cracking again.

twinkledag · 26/10/2018 18:53

Thanks @titchy!

And final question - how do you know the best matches to bet 2up on?
