No it’s a fast track way to have your account gibbard! Steer clear

TK1930 · 18/10/2018 21:40

**gubbed!!

Underworld345 · 18/10/2018 21:56

You can use profit boosts on the bookies to make a small profit though. Different to arbs . You may make £1-2 profit for each one. I do it as it cancels out done qualifying losses for doing 2ups!

Gammeldragz · 19/10/2018 21:13

I've been reading about 2up but quite ready to try it yet.
Bonus - I found £130 in my bet365 account, so I hadn't used all my profits after all! Using that to start me off again. Have done the trigger bet for the Bwin intro offer today. It's a refund if you lose, so not a big profit only about £5, but better than nothing. There's a few other introductory offers that I haven't done yet too so when this one clears I'll do those.
I'd really like to earn £2-300 a month if possible. I'll have to get into the 2up game soon, but I'm not sure I can commit to actually following the games as the happen in order to cash out...

Merryoldgoat · 20/10/2018 10:48

Hi - I’m new to this. I just started yesterday but was wondering how much of a pot you started with? I can probably only start with, say, £100 - how long will it take to build up to a more substantial amount?

I made £18 yesterday and was quite pleased with that for day 1!

sirmione16 · 20/10/2018 10:57

@Merryoldgoat go to Team Profit.co.uk, they have a "start with £100" plan which claims to make £1000 in a month. :)

Merryoldgoat · 20/10/2018 11:09

Thank you! I’ll toddle on over!

Gammeldragz · 20/10/2018 20:32

I started with £100 but only made about £300 in the first month. A lot of the offers have accas in that require sequential laying and I'm still scared of them!
Restarted today and made £35 plus £15 win on Mecca bingo as I got a £30 deposit bonus and managed to win £45 with it, had to wager a further £30 so £15 cash back. The original £10 I'd done in the BoB refund offer (so risk free) and as I didn't win anything I should get that £10 back tomorrow.
I've got a few bets waiting to settle and a couple of free bets to come. Managed an odds boost ACCA today which gave me about £2.50, so if more odds boosts come up tomorrow I'll do some more. Still unsure about the 2up, seems so unlikely to come through and you have to keep up with the games.
I have signed up for skybet bet club so expecting a free bet soon.

SushiMonster · 22/10/2018 23:33

Well after seeing so many people on here rave about MB, and finding myself away with work a lot with evening time on my hands - I've finally signed up with Team Profit and Odds Monkey.

Have done the Coral and Sky Bet sign up offers. I didn't realise that you could do all your £5 free bets on the same match (didn't read to the bottom of the page!) so made the Coral one more complicated and less profitable than it should have been by doing 4 different bets but will have made £13.91 profit when the final match plays tomorrow.

Will make £18 on the Sky Bet offer when the match plays tomorrow. Much easier when you load the 3x£10 free bets as a single play.

I deposited £100 in the exchange and am using nearly all of it to cover my liability tomorrow.

SushiMonster · 22/10/2018 23:37

Do people do mug depositing and make larger trigger bets than the minimum or not bother?

I have the liquidity to do this if its a good idea?

sazzle27 · 22/10/2018 23:55

Can someone help me?
I don't see how people can spend a couple of hours on it a day!

When i use the oddschecker, it always brings up matches that are a day or two in the future... and then i have to wait for the results to release the funds to then place another bet etc...

Am i doing something wrong? I have only placed matched bets on football though...
Any help appreciated!!

MissFitton · 23/10/2018 08:40

Sazzle - it's slow going in the early days as you're constantly waiting to free up funds. This is why it's important to build your MBing bank so you've got enough in your exchange to cover liability and enough to make your back bets with.
I've been doing this about eighteen months now and can easily spend a couple of hours a day. I make about 1.5k a month and have a useable bank of about 4K.

Tobuyornot99 · 23/10/2018 09:23

Sazzle you can use the Oddsmonkey filter to narrow down timescales, there is a slider in the bottom right hand corner. At the start it can be a good idea to do lots of horses due to the quick turn around.

Merryoldgoat · 23/10/2018 09:25

@missfitton

Please can I ask:

What pot did you start with, and how long it took to get the the £4K ‘bank’?

I’ve just opened a new bank account to do this with and wanted to know what funds I should start with.

Thank you.

MissFitton · 23/10/2018 09:36

@Merryoldgoat I think I started with about £100. Didn't do much to begin with and was making an average of about £300 per month. Didn't touch my bank at all then had a fine old time of it over the World Cup which brought my profits up and have been making over £1k per month since.
I read somewhere when I was starting out "treat it like a job and it will pay you a wage" - certainly seems that the more you can put in to it the more you'll get out.

Merryoldgoat · 23/10/2018 09:50

Great - thank you. I think I could start with around £400 so hopefully that will get me started. Since I know NOTHING about sport I’ll have to see what’s coming up - I quite like the horses as you don’t have to hang around for the results! 😂

sazzle27 · 23/10/2018 10:01

Tobuyornot
Thank you! I will have a look at the horses tonight ☺️

Just done a count up - profit currently stands at £7.84... not a lot yet 🙈😔

Tobuyornot99 · 23/10/2018 10:10

Are you using the calculator Sazzle? At the start I was laying the same amount as my back bet and eating my profits, then I realised I should be using the calculator and my profit increased. You should aim to lose about 5% on a qualifying bet and extract about 85% from a free bet....You'll get there soon!

MissFitton · 23/10/2018 11:29

If it's any consolation I know nothing about sports either! If you'd told me two years ago I'd be merrily putting £500 on the outcome of the FA cup final......

OP posts:
Merryoldgoat · 23/10/2018 17:27

I’ve made £22 today - I just had 10 mins so had a pop - so bizarre 😂

Got a bit of time later so will try a few more and see if I can get to £50 today!

Merryoldgoat · 23/10/2018 20:52

So. This is my understanding - is this right?

To make the most out of the free bets you need to take the higher odds, but as that requires more in the Exchange, you need to build up your pot. Therefore the bigger pot you have the more you can make. And the more available funds the better advantage of offers like Deposit matching etc.

The constraints to making money are time taken for bookies to pay funds back and the size of your pot. Therefore when you win/get money into the exchange it’s better as you can just use it to lay further bets without delays (obv you can’t engineer that but more likely with higher odds I suppose?).

If this is right I’ll add to my pot I think and try to do a few slightly bigger odds bets to build things up.

titchy · 23/10/2018 20:59

Yep that right merry. Top tip: if you're short on exchange liability and you have two free bets from different bookies, stake them on the same horse race - your exchange liability will only ever be against the horse with the longest odds, not both as they can't both win.

Merryoldgoat · 23/10/2018 21:11

Oh great! What a fab tip!!

SushiMonster · 23/10/2018 23:36

That is a good tip titchy, thanks.

MB really is kinda crazy isn't it? I'll be up to c£62 profit tomorrow after 3 completed intro offers and the trigger bet for 888. For hardly any time or effort really.

So far so lucky the exchange won everything so no mucking about withdrawing funds from the bookies.

I've only been doing football so far but think I'll move onto horses now I have had a few successful runs with the footy.

Got 25 free spins on betfair today which added just under £7. Do not see the attraction of spinning with your own money... was so boring getting thru the 25 free spins.

SushiMonster · 24/10/2018 22:41

Have I done a silly thing?

Got sent a bet 10 get 15 from William Hill and I think I have done a silly thing. Did my trigger bet £10 on Rangers v Sparktek tomorrow (rangers to win) and then because the free bet was credited instantly I went and did my £15 free bet on the same game but on the draw.

Is that a silly betting pattern that will well obvious and end up in loosing the account?
