Anyone considering casino - remember low risk = risking your own money. It's far more profitable ime than MB but you need to have a large bank - thousands, and be prepared to risk a lot of that. For instance between Monday and Wednesday this week I lost £400.

gttia · 28/09/2018 17:42

Made another £40 today. I can hardly wait to get my next one on!!

cheesemongery · 29/09/2018 08:08

Thanks Tia and Titchy - I think I'll leave it for a while, I don't even know the rules of some of them and I've seen bonuses go down the pan within minutes (free ones)

Well done Gttia! It's great isn't it?

Tobuyornot99 · 29/09/2018 10:01

What's the best way to schedule your bets please? I'm making money but seem to have it tied up in the exchanges for too long. If I see good odds I'm betting, but I think too far in advance maybe. Should I do football on a Saturday and Tuesday morning and stick to horses in-between, or something else? Thanks in advance.

gttia · 29/09/2018 11:26

Put my free football bets on today. There's three so in total by the end of today I should be up £100 since Thursday! Thanks for the help it's really good x

TiaMariaAndCoke · 29/09/2018 11:48

tobuy bet on the same match/race but with different outcomes - as the lay bets cancel each other out. Eg bet Chelsea to win at coral and the opposing team to win at lads. They can't BOTH win so for the exchange purpose you've only got "one" lot of liability. I hope that makes sense!

Tobuyornot99 · 29/09/2018 12:19

TiaMaria that's genius! So the exchange almost cancels itself out, leaving me with a balance, you're a star! Thanks so much.

gttia · 29/09/2018 12:58

What does cash out on bet fair mean?

twinkledag · 29/09/2018 16:35

Another £18 up today! I've made over £100 in a week!

Wish I'd kept a separate account to keep track!

vandrew4 · 29/09/2018 18:00

twinkle you don't need a sepearate account to keep track. Just make a simple spreadsheet or even just a sheet of paper where you write down your profit each time and add it up as you go along

cheesemongery · 29/09/2018 18:29

I've been using the Team Profit free spreadsheet, I think it's brilliant for working through the offers and keeping track. I'm about £25 up today with some small freebie reloads. I like to keep as much as poss in my exhange so I can go for higher odds.

I'm a bit gutted though as the failing business I work for hasn't managed to pay us this month - we'll prob get it in 3 weeks, in the meantime though, I'll have to withdraw everything to put towards my rent - hey ho I should look upon it as a godsend really (odd words or staunch atheist Grin ) as I wouldn't have had it otherwise.

NewYoiker · 29/09/2018 18:31

I'm so happy up to £296.95 in 2 weeks! I can't believe it!

gttia · 29/09/2018 18:57

I'm £97 in profit. Treating my husband to dinner out xx

small2018 · 29/09/2018 19:31

Thanks @vandrew4, good idea.

Babyshart · 30/09/2018 16:10

I'm wondering if one of you more experienced matched betters can help me ?

When I'm placing my qualifying bets, I check everything on online calculator and I'll usually have a loss of around 30p for example. I'm deffinatley putting everything into the calculator correctly.
However, in reality when I place the bets, if I win on the exchange i may lose 6p, if I win on the bookies I may lose 48p for example. Why are they different? Im making profit every time when qualify and place my free bets, it's just never quite the same as the calculator shows and the profit varies depending on if I win on the exchange or the bookies?

titchy · 30/09/2018 16:16

Are you putting in the right commission? Are you getting bets odds guaranteed at the bookie?

Babyshart · 30/09/2018 16:37

I'm not sure about odds guaranteed at the bookies ? Commission is correct

TK1930 · 30/09/2018 22:41

What would you (experienced) MB say is the most profitable once finished initial sign up offers?

titchy · 30/09/2018 22:42

William hill for 2 clear, b365 and Paddy power for 2up.

NewGrandad · 01/10/2018 09:43

10 days in and I'm £110 up, in that I've taken £110 more out of my bookie accounts than I've put in. Also still got about £250 in my exchange account and another account that requires proof before it allows me to withdraw Angry.

My only issue is with cash flow. Money comes OUT of my bank instantly but taking 3-5 days to go back IN. I know this is how it works but it does make it harder to work out what is where.

AlaskanSnow · 01/10/2018 09:52

I started this weekend. I've signed up with William Hill, Coral, Skybet and 888 so far.
£29 up at the mo, but that doesn't include £30 cashback from Coral (I did that wrong - shouldn't have used a cb site. I'm so used to doing that for everything! They gave me a £5 free bet though so not all bad), and I'm still awaiting the results on my free bets with Coral and 888 - they play tonight.

Also, a couple of quick questions -
Should I withdraw from bookies after the initial bets settle?
Also, If I'm understanding it correctly, ideally we want the free bets to lose so that the profit is already in the exchange?

AlaskanSnow · 01/10/2018 09:53

Oh, I also won a scratchcard with skybet to bet £5 get £5freebet.
Where would I log that on the spreadsheet?
I assume it's worth doing......

RhubarbCrumbled · 01/10/2018 10:50

Is anyone else doing the Smarkets offer for £10 returned bet if your bet loses? I followed the instructions to the letter and have come out £3 down.I have Cardiff as my team.

I backed Burnley to win in Smarkets: £10
I lay Cardiff to not win in Matchbook: £6.86 with £16.63 liability
Burnely won so I won £23 at Smarkets: £13 profit
BUT I lost at Matchbook : £16.63 loss

That means I've lost just over £3. What could I have done wrong?

titchy · 01/10/2018 11:15

Rhubarb - you should have layed Burnley to win. Cardiff to not win isn't the opposite as the draw would have meant you lost both back and lay bets. You should always lay the same as you back - lay is the opposite to back.

HilaryBriss · 01/10/2018 11:23

Your bet at Smarkets didn't lose though, it won so you won't get the £10 refund.

You can just use Smarkets to lay your bets as normal and as soon as one loses, you will get £10.
