mama hills high 5 and brucebetting 2nd to fav.s and also mclean and a few others.

noodleaddict · 12/03/2018 19:46

Thank you titchy. Seem to be lots of offers for Cheltenham so I need to be on the ball these next few days!

titchy · 12/03/2018 19:56

I know - I reckon I've got £400 of freebies this week, with odds boosts and various other offers to go! Good job I'm not in the office this week!

oreosoreosoreos · 13/03/2018 10:15

Hi all, have done MB in the past and made a few £'s, but fell out of the habit. Meant to get back into it at the start of the year so that I'd be ready for Chelt, but somehow time got away from me!

Seem to have loads of offers in my MB email so am just going to have a look through them now - can anyone recommend the best ones to start with? They'd mainly be re-loads as I've already worked my way through a lot of the opening offers.

titchy · 13/03/2018 10:26

William Hill and Bet365 (if you've got the magic 'bet £50 get £50 email). Otherwise Sky and Paddy have

titchy · 13/03/2018 10:27

Sorry! They have risk free stake in the first race. Sunbets have 2nd,3 and 4th place refund on Thursday.

noodleaddict · 13/03/2018 11:38

Oddsmonkey if you're on it have a good summary of the offers on their forum, some with links that tell you how to do them. I've found that easier than trawling through my emails!

oreosoreosoreos · 13/03/2018 11:54

thanks titchy! Found a couple of sky offers which I've done, just going to move onto the others now. Also had some betfair arcade/casino free spins offers which I used then cashed out, so am up £10 already today!

MissFitton · 13/03/2018 15:07

I'm unfortunately gubbed by most of the bookies with the best offers but still have over £80 of free bets for today. I can see how there's much money to be made at Cheltenham. Hopefully by next year I'll be in a better position to make the most of it.

What freebets have you got today? I've struggled to find decent offers.

noodleaddict · 13/03/2018 17:18

There's lots of offers for free bet if you lose and I've done a couple of double if you win.

MissFitton · 13/03/2018 17:22

I had Hills, Betvictor, BoyleSports and Betway ( Ithink!) There also seems to be related casino offers for me to waste my winnings on Grin

ok, so skybet money back as a free bet if your horse loses, every day on the first race - the small print says 'offer applies to first bet only' - does that mean 1st bet of the day, or that they'll only honour the free bet once?!

vandrew4 · 14/03/2018 12:30

oreo it means the first bet that you put on that race. ie. if you try to bet on 4 horses to have more of a chance of the refund, only the first horse you bet on will count

noodleaddict · 14/03/2018 14:07

Does anyone know if it's potentially more profitable to do risk free bets as a normal bet and lay taking the chance that your horse will probably lose and you'll then get the free bet? Then you make 80% of free bet minus the QL which I reckon would be £6-8 (on a £10 bet). Doing it equal profit looks like you only get £3-4 profit. Of course you run the risk that your horse wins, you could offset this by doing another risk free bet on the same race with a different bookie? Does that work or am I just trying to be too clever?

noodleaddict · 14/03/2018 22:31

Did I kill the thread?! Just another question, does anyone do extra places? Just been reading about it but it seems like a massive faff...

titchy · 14/03/2018 23:15

It's a strategy than can work noodle - plenty on OM do it that way. Personally I like to guarantee a small profit each time.

Each way no more difficult than a normal win bet, you just need to remember the extra lay. If you can do three or more different horses at three or more different bookies you should get lucky. Quite a few at Cheltenham tomorrow if you have money in the right bookies! Slightly risky strategy might be to back in the morning then lay close to the off as the back odds tend to come in a lot then and your QL could be zero. They can drift though.....

noodleaddict · 15/03/2018 07:51

Thanks again titchy. I'll have to give it a go once I've got some more money in the exchanges!

CocoM2017 · 15/03/2018 18:36

Well I Punted my £50 qualifying bet on 365 today and it came in...I’m £700 richer as a result Smile total Cheltenham profits now up to £1,500 for the past 3 days. Hoping I can maybe make another £100 or so tomorrow!

titchy · 15/03/2018 18:49

Wow nice! I'm up £400 from Cheltenham so far - wish every week was this lucrative!

CocoM2017 · 15/03/2018 19:20

I know. Already feeling a bit depressed at scratching around trying to make £10 a day lol. Really worried about gubbings too after Cheltenham Sad BUT for whatever accounts I get to keep.....there’s the National soon and the World Cup Smile

MissFitton · 15/03/2018 20:04

Wow, well done CocoM and titchy, you're both having a good week. I'm only about £150 up on the week but I lost pretty much into the bookies so have been stuffed in the exchanges. The perils of having a small bank during Cheltenham! Next year though....Grin

titchy · 15/03/2018 20:17

Bet365 kindly gave me 4 x £50 free bets so a lot is from that, plus an extra place that netted me £90. I'm on strike this week (university strike) though so while I've been able to do more than usual I haven't covered my salary loss.... better than nothing though!

MissFitton · 15/03/2018 21:05

Ah, I didn't get the bet365 offer. I suspect because I've never bet on horses through them. It's been a good week though!

OP posts:
CocoM2017 · 16/03/2018 09:54

I’ve been offered the 365 offer and have taken it 2 days this week but with my colossal wins yesterday, fear I’d better not take it today as I’m sure (if I’m not already on their hit list after yesterday) that I’ll be gubbed with them. Gutted to be giving up the £50 FB but it’s in the vain hope it’ll keep my account Sad
