Thanks reformed no partner here thankfully. I'll get on Team Profit and see what I can do.

Rolleyprincess · 20/02/2018 20:52

Just caught up a bit wth this thread to give me a kick to get started with this again..did a bit last year..but only about four bookies, I found I felt like I didn't know what I was doing which has put me off carrying on. Basically I just followed the instructions step by step which was fine (used Bank of Bets) so e.g. I think they suggested football matches to bet on, I literally clicked their links and placed the bets/lay/back.
However after a good friend who MBs questioned why I was betting on such low odds matches it kind of put me off? I just felt like I didn't know what I was doing? Didn't really understand the whole SNR etc at the time.
Sorry huge ramble..basically any suggestions? Does anyone feel like they started in the same place just following the step by step instructions on PA etc? Or do I need to brush up?

titchy · 20/02/2018 21:27

You need to brush up. You absolutely should not be putting any bets on unless you know what they're for and how to maximise profit.

Try the odds monkey or profit accumulator guides again.

Rolleyprincess · 20/02/2018 21:56

Thanks titchy .. I should say that I did understand what was going on lol, I did read up beforehand so knew the whole bet/using the exchange etc. It was just that I really lacked the confidence around it so followed the instructions slowly and precisely on Bank of Bets. I can remember doing matches with odds of 2.3ish I'm sure.
I guess for my experienced friend low odds seem a waste of time but as a beginner I was just following what the guides said step for step.

titchy · 20/02/2018 22:12

Qualifying bets should be lowish to minimise the loss, the free SNR bets should be at least 5.0 to make the most profit. (A close back/lay odds match on a free £10 at 5.0 should yield you £8. If the odds are low, even if back/lay odds very very close you won't get any where near £8.)

Rolleyprincess · 20/02/2018 22:19

Thank you for taking the time to reply :) I will definitely re-read everything and then take it from there. Think I'll try oddsmonkey this time though. I'll keep an eye on this thread too though everyone seems to be a pro here at the moment!

matchedbetsdotcom · 22/02/2018 09:53

Just out of curiosity, how many of you here have dabbled with casino offers and bingo offers?

mamahanji · 22/02/2018 10:42

I've not started bingo yet but I have been doing low risk casino for about a month now. Good success so far but it's important to keep track of losses and not risk more than you are happy to lose lose. So my amount is £10 right now. A few people recommended 1% of your float but I am happy with £10.

If you are on odds money, the casino offers no chat and chat threads are great to follow. And recurrent free spins offers. And the team profit Facebook group is a goldmine.

I've made about £500 on casino offers this month.

And always screenshot the offer and terms and conditions because they love to try and rip you off and change the terms so it's handy to have it all there as proof.

Confused2018 · 22/02/2018 11:26

I’m £250 up this month from bingo and casino offers. Couldn’t ‘survive’ on just sports stuff atm, the offers really aren’t great.

Like the above poster, I only do low risk casino (maximum loss £20) can’t afford to lose anymore than that. The bingo offers are low risk (most you’ll lose is a tenner) and can be really profitable!

mamahanji · 22/02/2018 11:28

Is bingo complex? I've been avoiding it due to not wanting to learn something requiring lots of brain power

matchedbetsdotcom · 22/02/2018 11:41

Yeah iv done them for ages and think its something everyone should do! Some of the matched betting services offer more than others when it comes to casino, but certainly everyone should be doing them! Can be a goldmine and iv seen plenty of people win 5 figures as well!! I remember a few years ago, someone won over 500k on a £1 spin on Betfair! only went and won the jackpot didnt they!! Im not jealous at all...... lol

Confused2018 · 22/02/2018 12:41

Mamahanji- Nope not hard at all. You basically deposit £10, they normally give you a bonus of about £60 so you have £70 that you need to buy as many tickets as possible with BEFORE your first game starts. Any winnings then go straight to cash and you’ve used the loophole to have to go through the wagering requirements Smile that’s essenitally it!

mamahanji · 26/02/2018 11:34

Confused wish me luck. Today is the day I branch into bingo! Do I have to manually check my card and find the numbers? I foresee that being a problem 😂

Confused2018 · 26/02/2018 13:13

Mamahanji- No it’s all automatic, you just buy the tickets and check your account later to see if you’ve won anything :-)

mamahanji · 26/02/2018 13:48

Ok that sounds doable. Thanks!

RubyRunRuby · 02/03/2018 09:15

Hi all, thanks for all the tips here! Just started MB two weeks ago with £130, so far I've done nine welcome offers, some return ones, quite a few casino offers too. Profit reached £150 last night.
I have found Team Profit's FB page very useful, their website is also pretty good. I joined OM with 1st month half price offer, their oddsmatcher is great tool, don't think I could do without it!
I'm using TP spreadsheet which is little annoying at the moment - I have first month Betfair 0% commission but the spreadsheet calculates everything at 5%. I found their tutorial video on how to change it but don't see how it doesn't affect all the numbers after month is up and I need to change the formula back to 5%... So I'm keeping it as it is, it's great to keep an eye on balances at each bookies. Only Betfair balance isn't correct on spreadsheet but it doesn't bother me that much.
I'm still looking for the best wait to keep track on my daily activities - my notebook looks messy! I think in the long run I just want to track the bookies balances, which bets I'm waiting for, which withdrawals are out/in,... that sort of thing.

titchy · 02/03/2018 09:40

think in the long run I just want to track the bookies balances, which bets I'm waiting for, which withdrawals are out/in,... that sort of thing.

Yep that's all I do now. Spreadsheet of bookie and exchange balances (latter will include potential profit and liability), withdrawals and deposits, bets pending and bets to do.

mamahanji · 02/03/2018 09:51

Also oddsmonkey premium members get 0% commission for smarkets for March. And betfair are doing 0% commission for all Cheltenham bets. March should be good. My target is £1000 for March. I'm being ambitious.

RubyRunRuby · 02/03/2018 10:11

Thanks titchy! I'm thinking nice new notebook. Always great to have an excuse for more stationery Grin

RubyRunRuby · 02/03/2018 11:12

Also forgot to say when signing up, don't forget to check cashback sites - I have over £200 pending just from MB signups on Topcashback. I know it's never 100% guaranteed money and some payments can take up to 3 months but again, it's another source of free money! Grin

shortaris1 · 02/03/2018 23:07

So inspired by this thread I signed up to team profit tonight and made £61.12 on Foxy Bingo. I did it before but got carried away. Strictly business this time. I want an extra £200 this month from it.

PrimalLass · 06/03/2018 23:40

Evening! I've tried following the thread, but could someone please point me to where the best place to get beginner info is right now?

I screwed up as made a Betfair account then never used it. SomI won't get the intro offers.

MissFitton · 07/03/2018 07:18

Primal - don't worry about Betfair, you'll use that mainly as an exchange so you don't really signup to that for the offers.

There seems to be two main services - Profit Accumulator and Oddsmonkey (I'm with PA). There's also Team Profit. They are really useful for advice.

Still chugging away here. Starting to see the Cheltenham offers come through which should provide some nice profit.

PrimalLass · 07/03/2018 14:57

Thank you. I think I signed up to Profit Accumulator so will search my emails.

FreckledLeopard · 07/03/2018 23:01

I'm with OddsMonkey and thoroughly recommend them. They have a current 0% commission offer for Smarkets until May and Betfair also have 0% commission for Cheltenham. Today's Bet365 offer was good - up £38 today and up £90 for the month so far. Generally making around £400 per month and about to hit total profit of £3500!
