Have you heard of iesnare? It’s a piece of software that, apparently, the bookies can use to track your movements online. I checked my laptop and found it there. I’ve followed the steps in this article to block it: www.matchedbettingguy.com/how-to-block-ie-snare/

This might be helpful to some of you!

Odds monkey currently have an offer on for the next 2 days, you can get a weeks access to a premium account for just 1 pound!

If anyone is looking to get started but doesn't want to commit to the monthly premium account yet then I feel this is a good way of trying out the bigger deals without commitment.

Follow this link to access the promo code:

I hope this helps!

Does anyone do matched betting from Cyprus please. Online betting is legal here but i cant find an exchange xx

champagneplanet · 17/01/2018 13:02

Hi All

I have been reading the threads with great interest but before I take the plunge and do my first bet I have a question, do I need to use a different exchange for my lay bet each time? Or am I just looking for free bet offers from the bookies?

NettleTea · 17/01/2018 17:22

so far Ive just used smarkets and betfair as betting exchanges and Im working through the bookies

champagneplanet · 17/01/2018 18:04

Thanks Nettle, i've signed up with Betfair but as there aren't as many exchanges as there are bookies I assume that mostly on the exchanges I will need to use 'real money'.

Karcheer · 17/01/2018 19:09

I started with betfair, but went on to use Smarkets to get the £10 from them and I’m now starting matchbook because of the 0% for five weeks. Initially I didn’t have enough money to use more than one exchange.
You’ll find up a lot of money ends up in the exchange.

I should anyone looking at this mpsnare thing?

CaveMum · 17/01/2018 21:32

The only thing to remember is that Betfair own Paddy Power now, so whatever you do DON’T lay your Paddy Power bets on Betfair - fastest route to getting gubbed! Use Smarkets instead.

If you look at the Team Profit website there is lots of help and step by step guides.

How’s everyone getting on? Not long til Cheltenham!

mamahanji · 12/02/2018 14:04

Not too badly here. I'm at about £1500 Profit in 3.5 months. Had a some good 2up outcomes recently and a few good casino wins. I'm aiming for and averaging about £100 a week which is a fair bit of work but it's getting there. I'm moving onto horse racing offers too now just in time for Cheltenham. I've realised that the best way to make money is to be in as much as possible. So instead of just putting a few hundred into 2up. I have 2 smaller 2up bets and some in casino and a some in horses. It seems to be working better than putting all my eggs in one basket at the weekend.

How's everyone else doing?

BoredOnMatLeave · 12/02/2018 14:11

Joining you all if that's ok. I only found out about MB last Wednesday, took the plunge Friday and I've earned about £50 so far (£80 if you include money from top cashback).

I'm currently waiting for money back from betfair and ladbrokes as I don't have enough of a buffer to do another. Any idea how long that usually takes?

I'd be very happy if I could make £1000 out of it as that would clear my overdraft and pay the balance left on our holiday this year!

mamahanji · 12/02/2018 15:11

Withdrawals are between 2-5 days I find. You can easily make £1000 from sign up offers alone! It's just when you've done the sign ups that you have to dig a little deeper and spend more time. It depends on how much you start with and where the money ends up in the bookies of the exchange that determines how quickly you can hit £1000. The more money you put in, the quicker you make money.

Word of caution. It's very easy to make mistakes and to check and check and double check and ask other people to check is the best way! Join oddsmonkey. It pays for itself in the first week. And join the Team Profit Facebook group. That place is a fantastic community and very very helpful.

Confused2018 · 12/02/2018 15:12

I’m £800 in profit in 3 months, so a bit behind you mamahanji, however for 3 weeks over Christmas and new year I didn’t do anything as I was just too busy. Middle of January I thought right, must get my arse into gear and do some and have been doing some every day consistently for the past month. I’ve gotten into horses a bit more (mainly extra places) and I’ve done a couple of 2ups but in all honesty I didn’t stake all that much on them to make a massive profit (and both times the teams didn’t go 2 up Hmm ) I am averaging about £100 a week too atm, getting into some low risk casino stuff too which has helped. Oh and bingo!

I’ve been gubbed by Coral though which I’m sad about, hey ho, inevitable really!

I’m really hoping to make £100 a week consistently in the future, that’s my target anyway!

BoredOnMatLeave · 12/02/2018 15:18

I joined Profit Accumulator but I think it's roughly the same as oddsmonkey? Yes I think I need to be more cautious on checking, only because I made £7 profit on a qualifying bet the other day, and I'm not sure why. I mean £7 profit is good but I obviously did something wrong!

How much would you suggest keeping as a buffer? I was thinking of getting up to £300 then I can use the other profits for myself

mamahanji · 12/02/2018 15:51

I have been consistently doing it. Even boxing day as there was good football on 😂.

I think they are similar so they should be able to do the extra bits.

I am going to learn about extra places and read up and then start doing that this week. With 2ups. I started whacking £100 on games. They went 2up and I made about £8-£10 Profit when they did. But that tied up so much of my money and a lot of the time they don't go 2up OR the odds are so low because they are a superior team that there is no value in it OR the qualifying loss was too high so I didn't risk it. I've started doing £25-£50 stakes on 2-3 games. I find that is a much better way at the minute. Look for odds of at least 1.7 and over and as long as they don't go 2up in the 80th minute, there is value. But you don't have to be there and ready to cash out so it require you to be in and at the ready.

A lot of the more experienced bettors don't cash out until the other team score so 2-1 or whatever. But this happens less but when it does, there is more value.

I actually have a float of around £1800 but I am putting in a lot of bets so I need the money in the exchange and bookies.

I feel like once I pull money out, it's slower to make money. But I have taken a few hundred out as needed.

MissFitton · 13/02/2018 09:46

I'm still going too. About 2.4k up but have been going really slowly and doing sign ups.

Became a bit of a cautionary tale last week when I realised I'd had a bit of luck at roulette (you can see where this is going can't you!). Ended up chasing losses and about £100 down in the end which I'm cross with myself about. Strictly business from here on in!

Still haven't tried 2up as I actually know bugger all about football. Might give it a go when I've built my bank up more. Paid a credit card off at Christmas which was the last of my debts so although I could have done with it in the exchange it felt good to see a benefit of MBing!

OK so this morning I started reading the start of this thread and the bit about bets being unmatched in betfair came up and I had a mini panick as I had seen this on mine a few times and didn't think anything of it. I think I have been lucky that any unmatched ones I had either matched or won on the back bet. I must be more careful. Just sorted out the unmatched race I have on a 5 tonight as the odds just kept going up.

Thank god for this thread!

BoredOnMatLeave · 13/02/2018 13:30

panic*

mamahanji · 13/02/2018 13:33

That's amazing missfitton. 2.4k is incredible. The problem with the casinos and slots is they feel so good. I have had to be so bloody careful as I have an addictive personality and I've been lucky with a few wins and just one more spin seems like a good idea but I'm not letting myself because then that's just me gambling.

2ups are great. I've been doing £50 stakes and make about £5 off them as long as the odds are good. The higher the odds the more money but less likely to happen obviously. I'm trying to get my head around each way horses and extra places Hmmit's all jibber jabber to me

noodleaddict · 14/02/2018 15:09

I need to get back on this. Haven't really done any since early December and have used all sign up offers. Need to move on to the more complicated stuff now which I think is why I'm stuck!

mamahanji · 15/02/2018 13:51

Check your paddy power accounts every hour if you can. They are adding 10k to a random account and if it's not claimed in an hour by that person, they put it in someone else's. Keeps happening until 8pm tonight!

Confused2018 · 15/02/2018 14:50

I saw this earlier. I always think those type of things are a con and they dont actually do them- but I’ll still be checking my account hopefully 🙈

mamahanji · 15/02/2018 15:25

Some lucky bastard from the UK just claimed 13k! It keeps going now until 8pm or 50k is claimed.

shortaris1 · 19/02/2018 21:03

Hi all, I started doing MB last year but got in a pickle and stopped.

Quick question? Can I use a new email address to do the sign up offers again or is that me done with them?

ReformedBot · 19/02/2018 21:20

You will have to live chat each bookie. I was allowed to rejoin a site as my old account had been made dormant. If you have a willing partner you could start afresh.
