I'm just going to pootle along as I am until the new year.
I've signed up to oddsmatcher.

I'm back stuck now as a horse came in, which shouldn't of done, so most of my cash back between the bookie and my bank.

Much prefer betting on the horses as it's so much quicker, but stressful as the odds are so moveable.

Still really enjoying it though.

mamahanji · 17/12/2017 20:51

Unibet have a great bonus I just found
On their website. 30% deposit bonus up to £30. So if you deposit £120, they'll make your balance £150 to bet.

I'll have to wait for a few days as all my matched betting bank account is down to pennies and my exchange accounts have all the money! I've now got enough money that I'm going to pull a few hundred out to pay off my stupidly high heating bill and make the December month more comfortable with all the Christmas spending.

How's everyone else getting on?

MissFitton · 21/12/2017 10:51

Just popping by as this had fallen of my threads list....

Not much to report. Don't seem to have done much in the way of sports bets, it's all been casino stuff lately. Need to do some more sign-ups...

Hello,

How soon everyone doing? I’m only doing a tiny bit but still enjoying it.

MissFitton · 29/12/2017 09:25

I seem to have ground to a halt again over Christmas- have done a free casino offers but not much else. Need to get into the swing of it again. I might set myself a financial target so I've got something to work towards.

Darts and William hill boosts are keeping me going!

I have a vague target of £10 a day, 5 days a week which is low enough to be achievable even on a bad week, but also gives me what I need for dd's university accommodation.

Karcheer · 31/12/2017 12:15

Have you done any of the casino offers? WH have one bet £5 get £5, I’ve seen a couple of people in the OM forum have made £100+ from minimum odds, but I don’t know how?…

SilverySurfer · 02/01/2018 18:44

I started to do MB last year, made a small profit and it then fell by the wayside, not sure why. Have pretty much forgotten everything I learned so am currently reading any and all tutorials, including on Money Saving Expert and Odds Monkey which I joined today. It's making my head hurt but I made a profit last year so know it's doable.

I signed on to four bookies last year and used their initial offers. Just logged onto my old Coral account but see no offers. Will they make new offers at some point or since I used the initial one should I not bother waiting and sign up to a new bookie?

Back to reading before I take the plunge and place a bet.

Makehaywhilstthesunshines · 05/01/2018 11:54

How are people getting on? I’ll be honest, I haven’t done any now for a couple of weeks, seem to have lost a lot of motivation. That and I have been using my ‘own money’ for a lot of the sign ups to enable me to keep my profits in the exchange and build my float and I just haven’t been able to justify doing that over Christmas. My car is in for its MOT today and so long as it passes without any repairs needed I’ll crack on again this weekend!

mamahanji · 05/01/2018 13:03

Sign up offers are really slowing down for me and I'm finding I'm putting in so much time for much less profit. It's much harder to find once the sign ups are drying up. I've started doing accas for every available bookie for every single day which is a nice but lengthy Profit and I'm just moving on to 2up. Pretty hard to wrap my head around but I'm getting there. My profit now stands at £800 for just over 2 months.

I spend a lot of time doing all the bet clubs and accas and I'm now going to move into risk free casino and bingo and then onto low risk offers too.

I'm really looking forward to be able to buy a shed with all my profit 😂

MissFitton · 06/01/2018 09:23

This year I'm determined to treat it like a job - put a set number of hours in with the aim of a certain degree of profit. It's just a case of finding the time though!

I need to get my head around 2UP and accas, over Christmas I've been sucked into casino offers and the 'just one more spin' mentality so I've put a stop to that (coincides with dry January, what a coincidence ).

I still haven't finished sign up offers either!

Hi all, can I join?

I’ve been reading the Team Profit website and have joined their Facebook page. I’m planning on starting in a few weeks, once I’ve got a final things sorted.

Karcheer · 07/01/2018 12:25

Hello all,
I’m currently moving all my money back to my bank acc as I want to start using other exchanges apart from betfair.
I too need to allocate a bit more tine to it, but tbh I’m still very reliant on how much money I have rather than bets available. I too can’t use too much of my own money and nothing more right now.

What are 2ups? Is it just a football game is two goals up from the opponent?

I’m still working on the sign up offers. Haven’t done any casino or bingo offers, I’m going to do those after the regular sign ups. I’m loving oddsmonkey though, definitely worth the £15.

mamahanji · 07/01/2018 13:28

2ups are great. But they aren't guaranteed profit. Bet355 and paddy power both offer on certain games mainly premier leaguer and fa cup but bet365 do much more, you back a team as normal and if they go 2 goals up they instantly pay you as if they had won even if they go on to lose or draw. Then you use the early out calculator on oddsmonkey to calculate how much to back the same team on the exchange which cancels out your pay bet and that is where your profit is.

So last night I had £100 on Newcastle to beat Luton and £100 on Huddersfield to beat Bolton. Both went 2 up so I cashed out with £11 Profit between them. It is dependant on the odds though as the higher the odds, the more profit. If I had waited (which I will do from now on) both other teams scored which would have raised the odds and my profit would've been more like £40-£50.

Team profit have a really good tutorial on them and my oddsmonkey 1-1 session was very helpful too.

Follow the 'bet365 2up is back' thread on oddsmonkey and also 'price boosts no chat' and 'close match thread for ongoing offers no chat'

And install Pushbullet on your phone. Anytime someone sees a price boost or an odds boost, it pings to your phone and you can get on it as they only usually last 10-15 minutes or for the first few hundred customers. They are small profit usually. Between £2-£10 But if you do all of them as soon as you can, that's a lot of money. I made £34 yesterday just in price boosts. They are small and bitty but there are so many of them so they add up and only take 2-3 minutes.

mamahanji · 07/01/2018 13:28

Also the team profit matched betting Facebook group is very very helpful for offers and advice.

MissFitton · 07/01/2018 14:07

I've heard that 2up is profitable but haven't done much yet. Also, I know literally nothing about football so wouldn't necessarily know which team to back. Would going for the lowest odds be a reasonable strategy do you think? (I know this would reduce profit but lots of small amounts would be better.? Maybe?)

OP posts:
MissFitton · 07/01/2018 14:08

I'm on profit accumulator - I should probably check out their relevant threads.

OP posts:
mamahanji · 07/01/2018 15:42

The issue is, low odds means little to no profit. If the team you are backing are already low odds because they are almost certain to win, say odds of 1.5, if they go 2up their odds on the exchange will drop to very low, 1.01-1.1 which means there would be no cash out value.

If the team has higher odds of 2.5, if they go 2up, the odds should stay about 1.4 or so. Unless they go 2up in the 80th minute or something.

I follow football but only since starting matched betting. The odds told me that the Shrewsbury vs westham was a reasonable game to do. But my football knowledge told me that Shrewsbury would hold their on really well and potentially win so I didn't touch it.

Livescore is a website that shows you what sort of goal and conceded goals a team has. But 2up is tricky and I think is definitely helped by football knowledge. Your website might have threads about it where people share good matches they have found?

As long as the qualify losses are low. £1-£2 per £100 bet, it's a good game. Because the potential for £30+ Profit is there.

But sign up offers and bet clubs and accas are the easiest and most consistent profit. I'm just trying to increase mine as much as I can

NettleTea · 11/01/2018 13:28

Im new, just starting off. Im having trouble logging into my Coral account - the reset password email is going adrift which is a right pain, and I did a mess up on one bet, but hopefully something will start to move soon!

Makehaywhilstthesunshines · 11/01/2018 22:29

I had my first gubbing tonight- Coral Sad I think it’s because DP signed up to them this week. He wants to start MBing but I’m a bit annoyed as I don’t want him signing up (with the same address obviously) to result in me being bloody gubbed everywhere. I don’t think I’ve done any bets with Coral since I signed up and did my £20 free bets. Went to opt in to the weekly bet club this eve and got the gubbing Sad

mamahanji · 11/01/2018 22:40

That's really annoying! Coral do great ongoing offers every week. It's definitely one of my most user accounts so far.

Paddy power is a brilliant bet club club. There's about 7 or so weekly betclubs so still plenty more for you.

mamahanji · 11/01/2018 22:45

He probably won't get the sign up offer either and will be gubbed. It's 1 per household as per their conditions.

NettleTea · 12/01/2018 16:54

so if I keep doing the Coral offers, will I just look like someone who can be easily tempted or do I need to throw the odd wild card in?

how many times a week do people place bets with each bookie, and how many are you all using? or do you just take some for the sign ups and then stick to others

NettleTea · 12/01/2018 18:15

and is dutching a good way to put some punting bets on?

MissFitton · 12/01/2018 19:44

I've now been gubbed by sunbets which means I've lost four in total. Rather annoying but
